  2. Just wanted to say thanks to Dave and Rob for the great interview. I'm glad to hear the support and appreciation others have for what I love! Flag Points #11 • November 16th, 2011 There is a man who owns every packaged G.I. Joe Figure and Vehicle/Playset 1982-Present. Let that sink in. There very well may only be one man who has everything 82-Now, actually, and we at Flag Points got to talk to him! Dan from Dan's Joes spoke to Dave and guest host Rob from joeaday.wordpress.com about how he attained it all throughout the years. He shared his Joe memories and even dropped a quiz question on us. You have to check this one out. Don will be back next time, so fear not! Oh, and if you dare, take a look at Dan's collection here: Pictures by Dansjoes - Photobucket Get a box of Kleenex first. You'll need it.

  9. In 1985, I received my first G.I. Joe figures: Mutt & Junkyard and Flint. I don’t recall why I selected these two specifically, but I remember as a kid always wanting the figures with animal sidekicks, so that have been my reason I got Mutt & Junkyard. I remember countless hours of playing indoors and outdoors with my Joes! Although I went through different stages of what my favorite toy or toy line was, my interest always went back to G.I. Joe. I remember getting a Crimson Guard in my stocking for Christmas and my Dad assisting me when I got vehicles that needed stickers to be placed on the vehicles. I remember the year I got the Night Raven, I carried it upstairs into my parents’ bedroom, and woke my dad up asking him to come downstairs and help me apply the stickers to it. Over the years, I would acquire a fairly large collection of G.I. Joes. I wouldn’t consider myself a collector at this time because I was a kid, and my toys were meant to play with and use my imagination in creating different stories. I remember playing for hours in the sandbox, the yard, at school, and at friends’ houses. Simply enough, G.I.Joe is a connection to my childhood. I think we as adults often get wrapped up in life, and forget the innocent times we had as children. My imagination ran freely, and my ideas weren't judged by anyone. G.I.Joe allows me to keep a constant connection to my childhood which I hope to share with many generations.
  10. Congratulations to JBL! Impressive collections! I want to say a huge thank you to AFS and Jedi for their hard work and participation in this contest. Without their help and assistance, we wouldn't have done as well as we did! Thanks guys! Dansjoes.com www.ultimatetoycollections.com
  11. As far as my pic...why not...its all in good fun. In my opinion, nobody participating in the contest should say anything about each others collections. We should just enjoy other members and the judges comments and opinions. People know what pics were submitted, so I didn't see the harm in throwing in a pic. Everyone just needs to calm down, and let the members/judges decide who has the ULTIMATE TOY COLLECTION....I mean my site is UltimateToyCollections.com for crying out loud...LOL...just a joke...just a joke! Have fun everyone...
  12. Sorry...I didn't see the rest of the postings by Action....hopefully that will put everything to rest.
  13. I came on tonight, and was reading through these threads, and can't understand where some people are coming from. This is supposed to be a fun competition. I know that we are all proud of what we have and what we have to offer for the contest, but asking members to show pics of items that they say they have....really? I looked at the pic, and yes...it looks as though he cleaned up the background of the Flagg, so it looked presentable in a picture w/ the fake water...but I don't think it looks as if he got it from somewhere else. As a team, we followed the criteria that was asked of us, and I believe that Action Figure Soundwave's collection speaks for itself. Action, if you have a chance, I hope you can take a few updated pics to show everyone what you have that is being questioned. Good Luck Everyone!
  14. Hello Everyone. Sorry I wasn't able to get on yesterday...my site and internet were down. First off, I just want to say that Sean did an awesome job in creating this custom figure for me. As he mentioned, the idea of a Ninja came to me as a kid when creating the Steel Brigade figure, but as you all know, they all looked the same, and I wanted something different. Rather than explain in detail here the background, story, etc....please check out the links to my site where you can read all about it!!! Again, Thanks to the members of Koga Clan for helping with the questions, dio, etc. Enjoy!!!! Good Luck to the other team...I like the custom! Dan P.S. Figure is not based on Dark Master (Sigma Six)...LOL...mine was done prior MORE INFORMATION: http://ultimatetoycollections.com/html/shadow_master.html http://ultimatetoycollections.com/html/the_story.html http://ultimatetoycollections.com/html/design_process.html http://ultimatetoycollections.com/html/custom_figure.html

Hope you enjoy the new site and figure!!!
  18. Hello. Although I never collected Star Wars, I was a huge fan of the toyline when I was a kid. Currently, I need some help with my website. I'm looking for a fellow collector (I collect G.I.Joe) who has everything made or close to everything made for the Star Wars toyline for the U.S. MOC/MISB. I'm looking for help in getting images of everything...front and back. If you help me, you will get recognition (if you want) for your help. Please email me ASAP at dansjoes.com@cox.net. Thanks. Dan
  19. Hello. I was curious to who has the largest Star Wars toy collection. If you are this person or know this person, do they have a website showing everything they have? If you don't have anywhere to show your collection, and you have close to a complete collection of MOC and MIB items...please email me at Dansjoes.com@cox.net. Thanks. Dan
  20. Thanks guys for your input. Do you happen to know POGOs Member ID name on here? Please send me a message with it. Thanks. Dan
  21. Hello. I am curious to who has the largest or one of the largest mint in package Transformer collection from 80s to present. If you have one of the largest or the largest....do you have a website with your info? If not, is it because you don't have the time to create a website or you're not sure how to do it. Email me at Dansjoes.com@cox.net...I'm curious. Thanks. Dan
