So you're looking at going from $15 retail to around $30 online per figure after shipping. That should scare away enough resellers and cherry pickers. Next will be the dreamers when they realize they are getting the same old sculpts with a different head for twice what they used to be in the store. But hey you're only paying $28 per figure. Savvy!
Seriously. One could argue that most DC characters require different body sizes, shapes, and costume textures. But with this new-head-on-a-buck style line, I cannot justify these prices.
And wasn't there talk of these not having CnC pieces?

They should have had the DVD cover have Hal, Sinestro, the dame, and Parralax encompassing the background...
This cover makes the kids go: "Whoa, look at the cool aliens!" (watches movie) "Where the hell were the aliens?!"

Ugh. I found these at a Wal Mart over in lonely ol' Seguin. All three of them, Johnny Quick had a red smudge on his left cheek. :/ All. Three.
Why are these $80 again?? Because they seem to be the same low-quality 5 pack...

In 2008, this would have gone through the roof. But at these prices now, Quality Control, and the fact that most of the bigger names are already out.....it's just not as, shall I say, "KAPOW!"

I wonder why Hector looks kind of dwarfy. He wasn't that short in the movie?

On a brighter note, the Batman Legacy figure can shoot water out of the gun which is a feature that has been absent since the original 2003 Mattel Batman line.
So I'm totally getting that Mr. Freeze figure...

The Freeze looks a little more interesting in person. As does the Joker, though I wish they would sculpt something other than the laughing face.

So absolutely no news on the second MM wave, stores are getting the same fish case, and the movie got so-so reception......this figure line is looking bleak already. :/

I dont know if you guys have seen the picture, but I really hope thats not the final look. I still want the other figures in the wave, so I'll finsih him anyways.
People are saying that the figure in question was not assembled right, but it matches the shadow on the back of a MM package. :/ It's supposed to look all worm-like I think. Ah, we'll find out in 3 days.

Sure enough, Wally by my house got their MM case tonight. 2 Hals, Top Flop dude, and Tomar Re. Picked upo a Hal, I figure the others will pegwarm until the movie gets closer.
When they make a Sinestro and/or Hal variant down the line, I may get those, but that's about all. Still debating on Kilowog.....

I think Dynamo looks incredible! So many additions to the Hall of Armor...
