Most of what ClarkKent said is true. It happened with Wave 6...Hong Kong got the stuff about a month before the U.S.. Here in my town, we didn't see Wave 6 'til MID January. And we're STILL waiting on Wave 7 (any shape/form of it). I paid roughly $30.00 for a Comedian variant online, thinking "Oh, my stores didn't order it in time." A week later, my stores get them for $19.99-$24.99. I slapped myself...hard. And how long have MarvelU figs been on eBay? And Wal-Mart is just barely getting them with a March 1st street date? :\ It's a waiting game, folks. Only a certain few get to have the goods first. And San Antonio will never be one of those lucky few.

I FINALLY found Comedian variants in my neighborhood comic shops. (people, if you still need him, today is a good day to call your LCS) I want to know why these variants keep getting delayed. Transluscent Doc Manhattan was due out today, but nobody has him. What's the point of giving them a release date?

Has anybody had any luck finding the Comedian variant? I had to order mine online for a bit too much...

In regards to Watchmen, has anybody actually come across the variant Comedian somewhere? I ordered mine online, and it arrived okay, but I'd much rather buy Doc Manhattan/Rorschach in-store...

I'm pretty sure they meant Wave 5 is being re-hashed. Upsetting to us in this area, because we saw TONS of Wave 5...Riddlers are still peg-warming.

I REALLY appreciate this info, mang. My LCS guy had no idea when I mentioned these variants. He kept telling me about Series 2, no matter how much I elaborated on the fact that Comedian is due in three days. Where can I quick-order these, to guarantee them in my collection? I cannot slip on these...

Things bugging me (sorry for being nitpicky): Joker's hair is slicked back ala the 12" DC Direct...still worlds better than the Wave 1 Joker. What evidence does he come with, just curious? Bank Robber Joker has recycled evidence. Boo! I've not heard of this Bruce-pseudo-Batman until now. Gorgeous! Removable mask ftw! Harvey's clean side seems to be smirking...he didn't do much of that after the accident. Might be the camera angle, though. I hope his coin doesn't have "COPY" in huge friggin' print somewhere on it. And what's this, one pic depicts a scarred hand, another doesn't. Did we get any release dates? Are these the only pics?

The white design on his chest is different on the variants, correct? I feel so stupid for never picking up Ronnie. I always passed him up, thinking he'd always be there. Now he's the only figure in the entire line that I'm missing....

I was understanding that we would get Sonar Bats/Suited Scarecrow before Harvey "Two-Face", and the like? I need something to quench my hunger!!

That is strange, all of my buddies and I are having a harder time finding Black/Silver Supes...

I'm mostly a MOC collector for these reasons, but I did open some. Report: Unmasked Deathstroke was opened slightly on the peg. I covinced the cashier to get me a 10% discount because of it. So I opened him up. His right shoulder joint was really stuck, but after that, he was ok. Didn't open figs again until Wave 5. I just had to have Metallo on my desk! Black Lightning's right leg broke off after too much fiddling. So did Eradicator's. Amazo had 2 right hands (funnily enough, the ring on the misplaced hand wasn't painted). Atom and Riddler were fine. Metallo is fine, thank goodness. Since then, I don't open figs anymore.

Preeeeeetty sure I know the answer, but...are these Matty-exclusives? The DC's, that is...not into MOTU.

These came out sporadically here in San Antonio. Two Wally's got them in the first/second week of January, while the rest waited until they re-organized their toy aisles. Got everybody, although the Black Superman could have a better package (crease in the back). I'm such a stickler with these things... P.S. Hi, all!
