  1. Well, as long as scalpers aren't doing it, it's ok in my book. :) Hell, I've opened cases.

The guy I refer to opens Cars cases and always pulls the Chases. He also gets T-Hunts when he sees 'em. Obviously scalps. These people will get their hands on the DC if it means $.

  2. Don't Walmarts generally unpack around 3-4am? I usually see them rolling out the cases around 8pm.

Scalpers can and will open cases as soon as they're rolled out. I've seen it with mine own eyes. :(

  3. Well, considering the supercenter around me has only a few figures left and they had so much wave 5 it was literally overflowing the pegs, I'm gonna just wake up an hour earlier for work each day and run over there. I don't think there will be too many scalpers at 5am.......... or will there?

It's quite possible that they'll have been there the night before. Take NO chances with this Wave.

  4. I was lucky enough to complete Wave 8. Only half of Wave 9 (and the figure packages are not exactly what I want...). Lacking Robo-Mantis, BC, Arrow, and black Wildcat. Time to concede to eBay, and wait for W10. :(

In the meantime, let's all e-mail Mattel: SUBJECT: Best Of Cases.....STOP IT!

  5. I am one of the few who wasn't utterly disappointed with the DCSH Darkseid. This CnC fig seems a waste, ESPECIALLY if that glove is not removable...

And have we forgotten W11 so soon? Why does everyone think Cyborg is in this wave?

  6. One Wal-Mart got a case of W9 last week, haven't seen it since. Arrow and Canary were gone...

Is anybody else having problems finding them MOMC? Each one I found had the same type of damage (some worse), in the same exact places...

My set had damaged cards and these were from a fresh case that had no sign of damage to it.

That sounds like the exact problem I have. :/ Bummer.

  7. Yes, it would've been much better to have these last year, for $11.47 each at your local Wal-Mart.

Yes, it would've made tons more sense to give Two-Face instead of a Gotham City Thug, or the suited Scarecrow, instead of the straight jacket one that was featured for all of a minute.

But it didn't happen. :( May as well move forward....

  8. I need these:

    DCSH:

    Superman/Kent Target pack

    Batman/Batgirl Target pack

    Supergirl (black skirt, orange card)

    Superman (black logo, orange card)

    Superman (version showing teeth)

    Azrael

    Bizarro (w/ Bizarro #1 chain)

    Batman (black/grey)

    Mr. Freeze (NYCC)

    Man-Bat (clear)

    DCUC:

    Orion

    Red Parademon

    Wave 9

    Gleek

Some of those I have already, but I need them in mint/near mint packages.

Seriously, does a clear Man Bat exist? I've never seen pics, I've never seen an auction, nothing!

  9. So yeah, the $20 price tag is horrible. But still, there are some completists out there (moi). So, let's keep track here.

Who do you want, if anybody? What order do you think they'll be released? It's 2 days into September now, and no word on who will be up first? Yet they have MOTU up to November? Let's see some news, Mattel!

  10. Wally-World's around SA, TX haven't seen DC in a couple months. Well, two of them just got the 5-Packs. but then only one case to a store.

Meanwhile, TRU's here are on W9 currently.

Wal-Mart......what are y'all doing? @grumpy@ Target is no better!

  11. the only people that wont buy these at a raised price are the people who are giving up the hobby. if you like buying toys, then youre still gonna dabble in whatever you like. watch, you'll see! go down the toy dept and lay your eyes on a complete set of DCUC 9, and i bet you get at least 1.

As opposed to the 2 of each I'd normally get....

    Damn it, Mattel.....
