  1. So Cal is pretty dry. The scalpers are unbeatable in these parts. Really want this wave though...
  2. I can care less about Gambit, but the Deadpool news is awesome. Can't get enough Deadpool.

Hey Jericho answer your damn phone for once. Sheesh....
  4. After Patrick Zircher stopped drawing Cable and Deadpool, I lost interest. His artwork was awesome. Everyone since totally blows.

Quick question, does the war machine variant come with any crazy guns? Or is it just a straight repaint?
  6. Didn't read the issue, but another way he could go about it is take an alias, say Ben Reilly? That way his identity is secure at least till civil war ends. But that would be kinda tough if you read New Avengers 19.
  7. Yes Im also partial to the Mcfarlane Spiderman.
  8. which walmart was this? Its in the IE. Chino Hills Walmart. I've also seen remnants in Upland, Claremont, and Buena Park, always the boxsets. And if your looking for Hobgoblins anyone there's like a billion of em at the Pomona Walmart.
  9. I agree. It looks like a production change is to the brighter yellow. But I prefer the brighter one so it's cool with me. The bright one is going for more on ebay for some reason though. I've seen the the darker one go for like $20 before shipping, but the bright one in the low $40's b/f shipping.
  10. So i go to the Walmart I been stalking for two weeks straight after work today, and low and behold there lies the pallet....completely wiped out. Nothing left but crappy boxsets and hulk two packs. The one day (I'm assuming it was put out on Sunday) I don't go to that stinking walmart, they put em out. Sigh...at least I don't have to check that place for at least a couple weeks.
  11. Buena Park walmart has boxsets, and masterworks. But absolutely no Gigante Man Wave. Either they got cleaned out, havent put em out yet or never got any. I asked the lady working in the toy aisles, she was clueless. I actually caught her having a conversation with herself, so that kinda lightened my spirits up a bit. But I was depressed again as thats like the thousandth Walmart visit in the last week, and still nothing.
  12. Wow, I went to that one yesterday and they had nothing. That's some crappy timing on my part. God I hate Walmart. After these figs, I'm never going back.
  13. And right there, I don't even want to read it. No way mutant telekinesis should ever be a match for the Power Cosmic. The fight should have been two panels, and ended up with Surfer rearranging Cable's molecules into a turnip. Agreed. Far too often the rules that the Marvel Universe itself creates are bent into a pretzel. In all fairness Cable was always touted as being a very powerfull being, having been an ofsprinf of Scott Summers and a Clone of Phoenix, but it was having to keep his techno organic virus that he got as a baby that kept him from being able to use those powers. Hence Nate Grey from the AoA universe who never got the Techno Organic virus was very powerfull, though I believe he was so powerfull it burned out his body? But now he has no virus and no powers cause he fought SS in a fight he could have won but choose not to???? Hmmm still confused. And the whole island thing sounds like something Magneto would do, not Cable. Oh well with the upcoming Apoc storyline coming im sure there will be some new twist to all this. Am I late to the party? Alright here's the gist of Cable Deadpool... SPOILERS ahead. Havent read it in a few weeks so the order of events might be skewed. The first story arc revolves around Cable coming up with this big scheme to basically bring the world together by making himself a sort of matyr. His telepathic powers are overloading, and he's not gonna last very long, so this is his sort of last ditch effort to unite the world or something. First he exposes everyone to a virus that turns everyones skin color pink. Then he builds Providence with pieces of his old space station. SHIELD gets antsy sends the six pack to do some recon, Cable easily kicks their ass and they end up joining him. Meanwhile Deadpool is running around looking for pieces of this high tech machine that carries some significance later on. When he finds the last piece, he runs into the Xmen, he gets knocked out and the Xmen take him with them. The Xmen go after Cable with the help of Deadpool. They get to Providence and Deadpool betrays them. Cable is surprised by this because it turns out he wanted Deadpool to them to succeed in taking him down. Well, the silver surfer shows up (something Cable did not plan for) and they throw down. Cable manages to break the surfers "unbreakable" board, but eventually his telepathy burns out and surfer blows up the metal side of his body. Deadpool goes to Cable and he tells Deadpool to use the machine on him which lobotimizes the part of his brain that controls his telepathy. Cable becomes a vegetable and is slowly dying because the TO virus is taking over his body without his powers to fend it off. Cable is restored with TO Mesh Embryo. This TO mesh acts as a symbiote though, not a virus. Therefore, Cable can survive without his telepathic power. Stuff with the house of m tie in happen after this, which leads to the current arc. Cable missing his powers, replaces it with a machine called the dominus objective, which allows him to tap into information streams, serving as a quasi telepathy. SHIELD gets antsy again, and this time Fury sends El Capitan. Captain America: "You want me to talk to Cable?" Fury: "I want talk, I call Oprah. I want some ass kicked, I call CAPTAIN AMERICA!" Which leads to next issue which I haven't read. Hope that helped. That's my condensed version, too. There's a lot hijinx, comedy, and mayhem in between. Good stuff. 14. That Magneto shall replace the outdated ML on my shelf. After some minor changes that is. Maybe some paint and a cape swap.
  15. Iron Fist and BAF Apocalypse for me because the left legs on both of them broke off. But enjoyment wise, Deadpool. My favorite marvel character.
