  1. There was an unproduced character back in 86' that never made it http://www.yojoe.com/archive/unproduced/prototype10.shtml
  2. That is Awesome. Did you repaint the head? And how did you replace the feet? I'm gonna have to try that if I ever find wave 2.
  3. Ha! I'm keeping Serpy's helmet on.. without it he reminds me of this guy
  4. Beachhead!? Buzzer?!? HOLY CRAP!!!! *head explodes!!!!*
  5. I'm more pissed at the scalpers here. I had to order everything online. Oh well saves on gas and sleep.
  6. I had this problem too. I added a dab of super glue to the problem joints and moved them back and forth for about five min. til the glue dried and voila nice tight joints. made a world of difference.
  7. Awesome awesome post. I recieved my joe set on fri and havent put them down all weekend. I read all the reviews I could find this weekend and it's hard to find anyone with anything positve to say about these figures. Yes, they have their flaws but nothing is perfect. I remember as a kid having broken o-rings, thumbs and crotches, but I still loved my Joes. Same goes for these guys. I'm just glad Hasbro took the time to give us all our old favorites in thier most memorable custumes, and newly sculpted when they could have easily threw some repaints in a TRU boxed set and called it a 25th anniversary. I think you hit the mark with the imagination comment. I'm pretty happy having a new v1 Snake Eyes sitting on my desk. Sometimes people take things to seriously indeed. Enjoy them for what they are. Yo Joe!
  8. I havent posted here in months. But I gotta come outta hiding to say Bravo! That was awesome. I didnt see that last part coming. I always look forward to your Dios. Man it's got the action, intrigue, ans espionage of a big budget hollywood movie. Good stuff, man. Keep up the excellent work.
  9. You know that might actually be the best way to get back at Hasbro for AA. @smilepunch@ Draven @loll@ @loll@ @loll@ That's a great idea!
  10. I decided to check my local Wally world after work to check for wave 4. And to my surprise there they were! I grabbed them all and threw them in my cart. Woo hoo!! Then I looked over and two kids who chouldn't be more than 12 were digging over through the rest of the joes. "cool" one of the boys said, "they got Snake-eyes!" I asked them if they liked GI Joes and they got all excited and started telling me about the Venom vs Valor movie. "yeah i'm looking for Kamakura! He was sweet!" I helped them look through the mess. No Storm Shadows and Kamakura sets.....except the one I had. I covered up the joes I got so they wouldn't see my stuff and strolled out the toy-aisle. "see you guys" I said as I went to birthday card aisle. Then my conscience bit me in the ass. I thought about how hard it was to find the Storm Shadow ninja cycle because of scaplers. And even though this was the pack I wanted most, chances are i'd find another. So I headed back to the toy aisle where the young brothers were still talking about Kamakura. "you guys still looking for a Kamakura?" i asked. They nodded thier heads. "here ya go" thier faces lit up. "awesome" the younger brother said. And as I was leaving they yelled out "Thanks mister!" lol! i'm only 22 nobody calls me "mister". but yeah it felt good to see young kids interested in joes and not looking for bey-blade and crap like that. I guess Snake eyes and the gang are cool again. on a side note the new General Hawk rawks!!!
  11. I found this case assortment last night at my local Wal-Mart. I finally after weeks of searching got Hound and on my way to the register I saw Dead End in one of the return items buggies. Wooo-hoooo! @bounce@
  12. Man it just keeps getting better and better! I can't wait for the next chapter. I can't wait to see who they're gonna send after Destro although i have an idea. Excellent job, VF.
  13. I'll be there saturday around 3. PM me if we wanna meet up. i'll be dressed like Rainbow Bright. (j/K).
  14. Great work! The base and the air chariot are cool. I love the write up too. Serpy is one of my favorite characters when handled right. Good job!
  15. I love your Dios man! keep 'em coming. Was that a custom Dr. Venom? I loved the b**** slap! LOL @loll@ I can't wait for the next chapter. COBRA!!!!
