  1. I finally got around to seeing it, and I loved it! I Found this and Deadpool to be pretty refreshing compared to the recent MCU entries.
  2. This is the only comic book movie I'm looking forward to. I'm really burned out on the others. The only other comic book movie that would get me excited is a Dredd 2.
  3. So I guess they want to compete with the hot Martha Kent in the DCCU. I cant say I'm disappointed because Tomei still looks great. The Spider-Man movie franchise hasn't had any female eye candy since Bryce Dallas Howard in Spider-Man 3 IMO.
  4. Anyone that wants the joyride figures should bite on this used lot. These guys have gone up in value tremendously. You don't even want to see the new prices. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Sonic-Adventure-2-Battle-Joyride-Gamepro-Sonic-And-Shadow-The-Hedgehog-RARE-/252008420566?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item3aacdf54d6
  5. Yeah that's true. I really hate that interpretation of Spider-Man. I prefer the older Spider-Man from later issues and the 90s animated series. Obviously general audiences agreed with me since the Maguire movies had better box office results than the "amazing" movies.
  6. Yeesh the new Spider-Man looks even less manly than Andrew Garfeild. I didn't think that would be possible.
  7. http://www.cnet.com/...r-cable-merger/ I don't know if anyone else here has been following the news on this horrible proposed merger. If this merger went through comcast would control 33% of the US internet access. How is that in any way pro consumer? The crooks in comcast tried to rationalize this deal by saying it would be fair because they don't compete with Time Warner Cable directly. Not competing with TWC in the first place is anti consumer. Prices go down because of competition. These backroom deals where a cable company controls an entire area is not capitalism it is a monopoly. I'm glad to see the government step in and do something good for a change. F#CK comcast!!
  8. http://youtu.be/ZTidn2dBYbY Has everyone seen this awesome video for the Kung Fury OST? If you haven't seen the first trailer for Kung Fury then watch that too! If you love the 80s then chances are you will love this.
  9. The new Smash Bros is awesome. I need to get my brother to join me in coop so we can get more trophies.
  10. Ughh I'm not happy about SF5 being on PS4/PC only. SF4 had a massive community on 360. What the hell Capcom?? Oh well maybe I'll get the PC version. I really don't care for Sony and they have never had any exclusives that really made me want to buy their systems.

  12. Yes I agree, but negative reviews do prevent me from buying right away. A rental is best during this situation.
  13. Apparently the Sonic Boom game is as buggy as that new Assassins Creed. It's a shame since the talent involved usually delivers. I guess Sonic Lost World gets the last laugh.
  14. I'm really not interested in seeing a Ghostbusters movie with Melissa Mccarthy or Kristen Wiig. I hate most sequels that come out 20 something years after the originals anyways.
  15. I won't be surprised if the Sonic Boom game turns out better then Sonic Lost World. Lost World was decent. but the controls were very clunky at times. Being forced to use the Wii U gamepad didn't help either. As for the Sonic movie I'll say I'm cautiously optimistic. As soon as I saw Sonic in Wreck it Ralph I had high hopes for Disney working on a Sonic movie, but this news of Sony doing it has me a little worried. I also don't like this idea of blending live action with cg animation. Does anyone remember the Rocky and Bullwinkle movie? Bad stuff lol As for Sonic Boom the tv series I'm also cautiously optimistic. I hope it turns out good.
  16. Edit. I keep getting dupe posts.
  17. Just use tinypic to upload a picture and copy the link for message boards, and boom the picture will show up.
  18. Yes I have the Sonic Nendoroid. I love the figure, but it doesn't really look compatible with the Jazwares figures. He is larger than than the 3-3/4 inch figures and much smaller than the super posers. Don't let that stop you from buying it though. It's a fantastic figure and the build quality is much better than Jazwares. Also don't be fooled by the bootlegs on ebay!!! Here is a pic of mine. I'll upload more later.
  19. Never thought I'd see this thread back up here. What ever happened to the good ole Cap who started the thread?
  20. I hope my theater actually plays it. I never got the chance to see it in theater.
  21. Just learned about rolling coal. If I didn't already hate the guys with salt life stickers and the hanging ballsacks on their trucks bad enough.

  22. Living in a Bizarro world. I thought Godzilla 2014 was a big letdown, and somehow I'm looking forward to X-Men DOFP.

Not surprising about DOFP it's easily one of the most anticipated movies of the year, I have no doubt it's gonna destroy Godzilla in the box office this weekend.

I'm rooting for the X-men as well. Did you see they have a blue Twinkie promotion?! Now that's how big movies should be touted! Just wish there were some collectible plastic fast food cups...

I must have missed that blue Twinkie sounds better than the Spider-Man/Electro ice cream baskin robbins did. I love promotional cups I still have somewhere lying around the crystal ones from Batman Forever that McDonalds did and a Revenge of the Sith plastic cup from 7eleven.

  23. I don't want the movies to be 100% serious and grim dark, but honestly I don't think Marvel is doing things much better with their "humor." If anything I feel like Marvel is going overboard sometimes with the comedy routines. Some of the stuff from IM3 and Thor TDW was cringe worthy.
