  1. I wish the other head was on him in the package.

I also like the above pic better then what we are getting. He just looks like a green pissed off teddy bear now. He's too fluffy. And his ears being covered looks dumb. Why would a creature have their ears covered up like that. It goes against logic. He wouldn't be able to hear properly. Darwin would be pissed off at this toy.

I'm not upset with it, just disappointed.

  2. As one of the aforementioned, collector who keeps figures in package, I do have to admit, they are really cool. However, it would get pricey to get enough for all the figures, as all 18 of my figures so far would need them, and with the indefinite amount coming forth, I would stay away from them, as they seem to be a ploy to get mattel just another few dollars from their loyal customers. They should, instead, include these stands with all the figures, forthcoming, and have these as extras to buy for the past 18 figures. If that was the case I would be given more reason to buy them.

  3. Honestly, not very impressed. She doesn't look that great imo. I can't quite put my finger on what really turns me off of it. I think it might be her head piece. I don't mind her face, and accessories, but she just doesn't do it. My Evil-Lyn from the NECA Mini Statues line, looks so much better. This worries me. I've liked every figure so far, this is my first disappointment, hopefully this isn't a trend.

  4. Wow, I just got a fun little answer that really interested me.

I started off by phoning Mattel directly, they said they had to transfer me over to Digital River, which they did. I got through within a minute or so and talked to the service rep. He gave me a PR speech about how sorry they are, and that Mattel wants to keep peoples business . ect......

Here is the fun part; 'Due to shipping problems your October Subscription figure and November subscription figure have been included together, and shipped out as such.' So basically my Teela and Scareglow were shipped in the same package.

He said that was all he knew, and that I should receive them within the week. Yeah right.

2 problems. First, I don't buy it. I don't think that is the case because I got a shipment notice for Teela and Scareglow separately. If by chance that is what they have done, then I believe we should have our $8.50 shipping refunded from Teela, since all they needed was 1 shipping.

Does anyone else want to phone, who hasn't recieved their Teela yet, or has anyone recieved Teela and Scareglow together?

Synch, what's your take on this?

  5. Yeah I'm a subscriber as well.

Personally, if nothing has come by Friday, I'll phone and see what there reaction is. If it is not satisfactory then I'll just tell them I am calling my credit card company. And maybe that will get a reaction out of them.

  6. I'm in BC too, lower mainland, and I've received nothing yet as well. What bugs me is that I got Zodak almost a month ago, which to me says that Teela never got sent out, or was sent out weeks later. Has anyone from BC phoned Mattel? If so, what did they say?

Also, I have a subscription too, so that pisses me off even more.

  7. The only reason I am giving my money to mattel is because of how much I love MOTU. I've loved every reincarnation of it, and the line is great imo. But if I had a vote, I would say give another company the reins. Give it back to NECA. The Mini Statues rocked, let's see what they can do. The Four Horsemen are creating awesome figures, now let's have a production company that can support them.
