I phoned Digital River and complained about my situation after the error screen that came up during my checkout. I suspect this is the result of it, but I was wondering if anyone else received this email.

  2. Wow. So I just got off the line with DR, and here is what they said, before they hung up on me.

I stated the situation, they said sorry too bad. I asked to speak with a supervisor. I was told that even though I was in the process of purchasing Battle Cat, I was not guaranteed one. They said it must have sold out during your purchasing process.

I told him that logically this made no sense as, 'If I went to the super market, and put a jug of milk in my shopping basket, and someone said 'oh I want that' and took it out of my basket, and purchased that, it would be equal to what he said happened. He agreed, but said unfortunately that is how it was going to be. I asked him what the point of a shopping cart was then if I am checking out, and someone can just take it right out of the cart from me. Basically there should simply be a checkout with no shopping cart option. He did try to be nice, saying, 'I would love to give you a battle cat, but unfortunately I can't' and I started to ask him what the resolution was going to be, but we got disconnected or he hung up......

I don't know what to think. I am beyond upset by this whole event, and have no idea how Im going to get a battle cat now.

  3. I agree with bringing the Sorceress out. I think she will be out by the end of the year.

    My list of most wanted:

    1. She-Ra

    2. Panthor (Flocked would be epic)

    3. Kobra Khan

    4. Man-E-Faces

    5. Ram Man

    6. Orko and Prince Adam (In my mind this will have to be the two pack they have spoken about in the past)

    7. Sorceress

    8. Whiplash

    9. Fisto

    10. Ninjor

  4. Even if the Sorceress was the same Sorceress that was married to King G, she only married into the family and is not a descendant of the Grayskulls, but rather just the wife. Therefore, she has no blood relation to Randor or Adam. If Teela was King G's daughter it would be a whole different story. But I believe it was Fisto who was her Father, if we look back to the 2002 story, where Fisto was thought to have left the Eternian military, when in fact he had lost his memory and had been healed by The Sorceress, at which time they began a romantic relationship. He had bandages on his face, to give uncertainty of who he was, but the narrative was leading that way, as they introduced Fisto at the same time.

Keldor, as far as I know, has never revealed how his skin changed color's. I would think it would have been a side effect from using the dark arts. Although, it also could have been inflicted by Hordak.

  5. The map gave me a flashback to Lord of the Rings.

If only they could make a 3 film epic out of Masters of the Universe.

Start with Skeletor ... move to the Snake Men and end with Hordak.

It can be done. It most likely never will be done, in fact any movie based off of this property would probably be terrible. But a LOTR equivalent epic is possible in strict terms of theory.

I'd say the probability is somewhere around the 0.01% chance at best.

I'd actually prefer a Live action TV show. Go the Farscape route, and have puppetry and people with prosthetic.

  6. Being another Canadian collector of this line, I just sit back and sulk when I see all the other customers receive the figures in a week. Usually they are a month, and one week behind. I still haven't received my Randor yet lol .... however it will be hell waiting for Battle Cat when he comes out

  7. I gotta say it, I'm disappointed. To me, and in my own opinion, this is the worst looking figure in the line so far. It looks cheap. The rear view of it made it look like it was put together haphazardly, and the only thing I can say I like about it is the fact they used original colors. No real amazing facial characteristics, and Screech looks kinda bland himself.

Screeech was a robot bird created by Skeletor. I think originally it was made to be the opposition to Zoar.

  8. Brutal dude. The problem here is, are you going to have to deal with this each month? That won't be fun, nor would it be fair to you as a collector. I would phone DR back, and ask for a manager. If they refuse say I am not hanging up until I get a manager, and explain to them the situation. They should at least be able to send you a email confirmation for Adora.
