  1. I'd just like to see something worth buying at this point. I was so disappointed by the first movie that I was soured on the toys and passed on a lot of figures I probably would have liked. I'm not going to make the same mistake twice. The return of the comic packs would be nice. My all time favorite comic series is Marvel GI Joe. I was caught up in the the JvC line when the originals were out and missed out on most of them. I'd really like to see more GI Joe Kreo items. Maybe a Terror Drome or a Whale? Plus more Kreons.
  2. That person is generally called the post master. Most post offices have one. I dealt with the one in my old town before I moved. I had one bad experience with him but several nice ones.
  3. I would definitely say something. The postal service is suffering these days. They need to know about these things.
  4. After the wilderness fight scene I leaned over to my friend and said "I've already gotten my money's worth. My favorite scene is when Cap gives the orders for the final battle and tells Hulk to smash. Goosebumps every time. It's even better at home in 3D.
  5. If the latest Skystriker is any indication they could seriously knock this out of the park. If the price is too high or the colors are seriously off I'll probably keep dreaming of the vintage one.
  6. I preordered the sets a couple of weeks ago when ToyeRUs.com first listed them. They were buy one get one 50% off so I'm willing to wait a few more weeks for that savings. I did go to ToysRUs this morning to find some blind packs. I had no luck with those but I did find Lego Minifigures Series 9 so it wasn't a total loss.
  7. I am now! I had lost this setting years ago. I'm thankful to have it back. With my 10 year anniversary being less than a month away this will make things even more nostalgic. It's funny, we spend most of our time around here talking about nostalgia and now the forum itself has become part of that nostalgia.
  8. Does one of the sets have that sweet Cobra paratrooper with the parachute? That one looked sweet.
  9. I currently have a Captain America shield t-shirt and a Cobra: The Enemy t-shirt currently in my rotation. Of course these are just the latest in a long series of "geek" t-shirts that I've worn over the years. I also frequent many "geek" websites, toynewsi.com being chief among them. When my wife and I bought a house last year it had to be big enough to house my collection. I have a pretty sweet man cave. One side is to display my toys and the other side is Bengals themed and has my video games and our PC.
  10. I have those 4 plus Mojo. The Bane is the only one that I bought a bunch of stuff I didn't want just to build it. But this was back around the time that Matty was sending the $5 off coupons with MOTUC orders so I ended up finding most of them on clearance and then selling them on eBay in a lot for most of what I paid for them. I have so many figures now I can't imagine a character I would want so bad that I would buy an entire wave just to build it.
  11. I definitely am! I posted a thread before this one showing my excitement for having ordered these.
  12. GiJoe Kreo sets The best part is that they're up for pre-order PLUS they're buy one get one 50% off. Every set but the Cobra headquarters is up on the site with an estimated shipping date of 2/19/2013. If you buy all 6 sets it's about $102 and all orders over $79 get free shipping. The buy one get one 50% off deal is limited to 3 items per order. So if you want to buy a bunch of blind packs you can only get the deal 3 of them, you'll have to place a separate order and the shipping pretty much equals the discount. I am so psyched right now!
  13. Maybe they will release some of that stuff that they already had designed from the concept case at JoeCon last year. That would be awesome You mean Data Viper and Kwinn? Was that last year? They all run together on me now.
  14. Maybe, just maybe, we'll see some really cool characters on Retaliation cards that aren't really in the movie, kind of like the TRU exclusive Quick Kick, Spirit, and Bench Press (still kicking myself for passing on that one)? They did make some rather cool figures like Ice Viper in the original movie line. Plus you never know what you may get in the way of vehicles. I'm excited to see the Kreo stuff. I hope they show off more than what we've already seen. I also hope by the time Toy Fair rolls around I'll have these tiny little obsessions in my hands. Quick Kick comes with a Fudgee Bar! Joe Colton comes with a fuzzy head and a tiny little representation of the original 12 inch packaging! I haven't been this excited in a long time.
  15. Romper Stomper: There are only two kinds of kids in this world. Kids who like Animaniacs and Kids who don't like Animaniacs. Which one are you? Cartman: I...don't...like Animaniacs? Romper Stomper: Netiher do we. Cartman: *Whew*
  16. It is assumed that Xavier is leading the team.
  17. Warpath is a good choice. I love that guy! I liked him on that team that was lead by Havok that was trying to stop Vulcan a few years back.
  18. I'm also heavily influenced by the Claremond/Byrne/Cockrum roster. I am also picking: Storm Wolverine Nightcrawler Colossus (pre-emo of course) Kitty Pryde I'm not picking Cyclops because I feel like they've made him one of the most unlikable characters over the last few years. I'm not picking Rogue because I feel like the team should have at least 2 original members so I pick: Iceman Beast Iceman is my favorite X-Man. I've always felt like he gets the shaft.
  19. Who would be on your ideal X-Men team? 7 members max. The members you pick must have been an X-Man in the past (not X-Factor, X-Force, X-Caliber, X-Irritable Bowl Syndrome, etc.)
  20. Thats a great pick-up! Yep, you can't beat that. Especially when the original MSRP'd for $14.99 in 1983.
  21. Me too! I've been here nearly 10 years myself but when I started I was in college. I've since gone through more women than I can count before getting married and having a baby in 2008. I've switched jobs several times as I work my way up through my career. There just isn't as much time as there used to be for this kind of thing. Plus the activity is down. I remember the early days when I thought Tom-1 was a total jerk and Venal4 would only post negative things in the wrestling forum. I wonder whatever happened to those guys?
  22. Well there is the urban Cobra tank. I would imagine they'd modify that design and release a Joe tank later on down the road. Even though the Battleship sets don't seem to be too popular they're still releasing new sets so that gives me hope for a second series.
