  1. I hated the Human Torch. He wasn't even blonde.
  2. That figure is simply amazing. I think painting the eyes red might add to it, but that's just me. Still, an amazing figure already.
  3. I definately hate toyboxes, but I also hate keeping figs in their package. You get them in a dumb pose behind a layer of plastic. Posing and displaying figures is what makes them fun to me. They're not really action figures if you don't give them life. Letting them sit in a plastic case may take value, but it adds loads of creativity to the product. I want to get my moneysworth for a figure, and letting it die in a box is just not my way of expressing that. I never given MOC a chance, and I don't intend to. Marvel Legends among other figures are not statues! They are poseable for a reason.
  4. Honestly, getting rid of BAFs, although they are cool, would help out a lot price-wise. Thank God 6" figures are alive and well. I better get a Dazzler or Jubilee some day.....
  5. I'm right there with you. I hate the fact that they can give 7-year-olds a Puma, but they give us a million Hulks and Spideys. I would love to see these out of that list: 1. Puma 3. Titanium Man 4. Crimson Dynamo 6. Tombstone 7. USAgent 10. Punisher Captain America 11. Shang Chi 12. Nighthawk 13. Gargoyle 14. Winter Soldier
  6. Which still goes in the "Hasbro just sucks" direction. And I'm nit saying faithful Hasbro collectors, because I'm sure there are plenty of fans of GIJ and SW, but many Marvel collectors are outraged at this, and they have every right to be. Hasbro may not owe us anything, but that doesn't mean we don't want what they are capable of doing better. All I'm saying is, is that they've definitely lost my money, and I hate the MU figures. That's all, and there's not really anything that can contradict that.....
  7. Hmmm, for money? The line in that scale has pretty much run it's course, though I'm certain that there will be a few more additions in the near-future. As far as Hasbro, shifting attention to the 1:18 scale is probably one of the smartest things they've done thus far with the license (especially considering the economic climate) and I think many of you will be amazed (though mostly disgruntled) at how well these will do. Nevertheless, I still won't collect them because they practically leave the original, and far better, ML figures obsolete. For those that like to pair these new ML figures with G.I. Joes, that's great. I personally hate Joes and the new MU figs. I guess I'm just mad at Hasbro for being jerks to the faithful (or stubborn, if you prefer) collectors. I know they're trying to cut costs, but that doesn't make it any better. Smart for business? Yes. Smart for faithful fans? Absolutely not. And I know I'm not the only ML collector out there that despises these little pieces of wasted plastic crap. I do admit, Hasbro's Legends kinda suck compared to the almighty ToyBiz. But The MU figures can't even compare to that.
  8. Namor is an odd case, since he is not only a mutant, but a mutant hybrid. Silver Surfer is a mutate alien, becuase he gained his powers after birth, but his previous abilities were normal to his race. Spider-Man is NOT a mutant. He IS a mutate. Spider-Girl on the other hand, could be a mutant, depending on which definition you use. 1. Born with the X-Gene. 2. Born with powers. In X-23's case, she is just a clone of a mutant, therfore being a mutant herself. In Ben Reilly's case, it's a little more complicated. He wasn't technically "born" at all, but he did come into existence with his powers, therefore he could be considered a mutant, but again, that depends on your undertsnading of mutant. The bottom line is the FF are NOT mutants. They ARE mutates.
  9. All I can say is with the new scale, I will not be collecting any of these. And if the 6" figures are ending, I guess I will work on completing my collection by getting all my missing figures. Personally, I think Hasbro is cutting it very close with the new figures. They will just barely make enough money from them, and efinately not as much as ML. Why, ToyBiz, why did you leave us?
  10. He was a mutant in House of M, but that obviousy is a whole different situation.
  11. To be honest, I would've bought it if I didn't already have a Deadpool lol.
  12. Well, they're out here. As a matter of fact, I saw aa Elektra/Ronin pack that had the Ronin removed and swapped with a Deadpool. It was actually kinda funny.
  13. Personally, I like the Sinister Six boxset Spidey, but I don't own a "McFarlane" Spidey, so I'm not sure if its better or not.
  14. Sorry, wrong link. http://www.thebadandugly.com/wp-content/up...07/deadpool.jpg
  15. Well, here's your answer. Not sure you're gonna like it though. At least it is the same color scheme, which we weren't lucky enough to get the X-Men in. http://forums.marvelousnews.com/index.php?showtopic=2054474
  16. Sorry, I actually screwed up with my posting. The DC parts I already have. And no, I'm in IN.

Head Sentinel Lower Torso(x2) Sentinel Right Arm Sentinel Left Leg Apocalypse Right Arm (No Pipe) Ronan Left Arm And here are some DC parts I'm willing to trade for ML parts: Despero Left arm Despero Right Leg Metamorpho Left Arm (Shoulder slightly chewed by dog, but not very noticable) And what I want: Fin-Fang-Foom Left Leg Fin-Fang-Foom Left Arm & Wing Fin-Fang-Foom Head & Tail Tip Blob Lower Torso Ares Head Ares Helmet Ares Right Leg If anyone could help me, that would be fantastic.
