  1. I recently did an inventory of my collection and in the process one of the hand guns became an orphan. I checked the YO JOE WHOBIT site and couldn't find it. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!
  2. 1) thanks for the info2) $60 for 10 plastic cases, all I can say is "ugh really?"
  3. A couple of years back Hasbro.com was selling Plastic Display Cases to display and protect MIB 25th Anniversary Figures. Any suggestions on where I can get some more of these or something similar? Thanks!
  4. I am guessing someone posts a thread like this every year, but I hadn't noticed any yet this year. Since I am in the holiday spirit I am going to ask what was your favorite GI Joe X-Mass gift ever? Mine was the 1st GI Joe toy I ever got and it was the Mobile Missile System. Not only was the toy cool, I remember it coming with one of the catalogs that listed all the other GI Joe toys. I wanted to collect them all. There were cooler GI Joe toys to come, but the MMS will always have a special place in my heart.
  5. Found some Snake Eyes City Strikes at TRU today, which I was surprised by because they were not there yesterday. So I guess that at least some stores are still restocking.
  6. FYI - Night Ravens are on sale at TRU for $19.99, so for those of you waiting to buy this might be a good time. Also for those of you in the giving spirit it might be great opportunity to buy few to donate to charity. Merry X-Mass!
  7. Found the Past and Present G.I. Joe Rockslide 2-Pack today for $24.99 in Wisconsin. I know the information is somewhat redundant with the topic I started below, but I thought I should post it in this thread also.
  8. If I waited a few days I could have answered my own question. Found it today being put out on an end cap. Thanks for the replies guys!
  9. Does anyone know when the Target Exclusive Past and Present G.I. Joe Rockslide 2-Pack (w/Snow Job) is hitting the stores? I would think they would want to get it out soon.
  10. When it was first reported that the DVD sets were showing up at Marshalls I did find a single set of 3,4, and 5. I haven't seen any of those since and that was about 3 months ago.
  11. Spotted the Wal-Mart Battle Stations today. Picked up the Heatseak Missile System (MMS) and Outpost Defender. Also saw the TRU 5 Packs. The Wal-Mart Battle Stations were going for $14.96, the the TRU 5 Packs for $19.99.
  12. Anything that has the ARAH type artwork. I guess I am little nostolgic. I have a lot of room in the basement, so space really hasn't become an issue yet.
  13. Picked up the S.N.A.K.E last week in Wisconsin. Haven't looked for the Battle Stations yet.
  14. Was this pre-reset or had they reset thier toy dpt.? It was the grand opening of a new store, so I am thinking I may have been lucky. It wasn't on the end cap, but it was in the aisle where you normally find the GI Joe stuff. It was priced at $9.99.
  15. Picked up the Cobra Eel w/ Wave Crusher from Target today in Wisconsin
  16. ROC Figures spotted at Target in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Passed on them all.
  17. I think I once heard that some places out their "recreate" the decals for classic RAH 80s vehicles. The two questions I have are the following: 1) Is this true and any suggestions on where I should look? 2) Does replacing the decals diminish the value from your perspective? I don't buy the vehicles for their resale value, however it just seems wrong to pay $60 fro something on Ebay, put new stickers on it and have the value reduced. Thanks up front for your advice!
  18. I look at my collection remembering my childhood and the fun with I had with toys. But why GI Joe, why was it my favorite as a child and why do I collect it now as opposed to other toys? The truth is that GI Joe has always been to me about somwehat normal people being heroes. I still get goose bumps when I hear the GI Joe theme song. Other toy lines were about "super powers", magic, or future tech, but GI Joe was about heroes being the best they can with technology that was somewhat true to realism (well at least up until about 87). #US1#
