^^To an extent that's true, but I can still enjoy many 90's cartoons bc they are much better written than their 80's counterparts. Cartoons of my childhood are far too cheesy.

lol, sure it was.. I have to agree that the toys were better. Many of the toys were great, but I can't stomach the cartoon anymore; but then I could say the same for most 80's cartoons.

Yes please. Animated is imo the best tf cartoon ever made; I certainly wouldn't have purchased some mediocre toys without it.

Shilo Buff? Epic spelling fail. So..they replace a mediocre actor with another mediocre actor? Not much to get excited about.

That's a lot of great stuff we're missing out on; it's a shame hasbro doesn't want our money. I will say that I thought the Renegades toys were solid; I think I'm more upset that that show was cancelled than I am about these figures. We finally got a good joe show and it lasts one season.

Poorly drawn? Hardly. I understand some people don't like the style but it has better animation than most (if not all) transformers cartoons. I do like bw animation, I was j/k w/ you, but I do prefer animated's style.

All of those look great. I'm especially looking forward to knockout, who may be my favorite character on the show.

Nice compilation, though some were merely coincidental. Oh, and Animated>Beast Wars>Prime. I'm hoping season 2 will be better; season one of prime was lacking in depth and needs a better over-arching storyline.

I think 2011 was a great year for gijoe w/ a very good cartoon and figures. I stopped collecting joes around 7 years ago, but renegades and some of the other new figures have pulled me back in.

So far I've only heard of sightings at tru; I don't think any other store has them yet.

..but wheeljack, the point of this is they're making fun of modern tv shows and videos, just like they did in the 90's. 90's videos/shows aren't relevant to a show like b&bh. I think they're commentary on jersey shore is hilarious; I need to catch up, I haven't watched an ep in weeks.

My niece and nephew know which tf's they can play with and which ones are off limits; so far it hasn't been a problem.

Most of the Prime toys look good to me, and this is no exception; another great looking toy.

Are we just talking about g1 here, or any tf series? Because beast wars could use some love: new versions of inferno, tm megatron, rhinox, rampage, etc. would be great.
