If anyone is in the GTA I saw a Cobra Box set today at the TRU in Vaughn (Woodbridge). Only the one set, but that may mean they are on the way?

I heard from a Canadian online retailer that they were having a hard time securing product from Hasbro Canada. Hasbro Canada wasn't sure the products would do well in a Canadian market. That was a couple months back and not sure how that would hold up for the larger retailers i.e Wal-mart and Toys'R'us. Just passing on what I heard....

If you used PayPal and the funds are drawn on your credit card, contact the credit card company. They consider this to be mail fraud and they will attempt to contact the seller. They will temporarily credit your credit card. If the seller cannot provide proof that the items were sent, then you keep your credit. I've been burned on eBay a couple of times and found both eBay and PayPal pretty useless when it came to their "investigation" of the matter. In fact PayPal gave me a total credit of $6US on a $60 purchase. I hope that helps you out a little?

Well I'm not sure if anyone here is aware of this, but Gargoyles is out on DVD. So far we have the complete first season and we also have Season 2 Part 1 out. Back in May I believe, Buena Vista announced that they currently do not have plans to release the final part of Season 2 on DVD, due to poor sales. I have used the outerReaches here in Canada since wave 8 or so and have never had a problem. Their shipping rates are pretty good even to the US and I'm pretty sure there is a sticky at the top of the page that offers a 10% Discount which should cover most of the shipping charges. If you want to stick to a company in the US there is always BigBadToyStore, I have ordered from them in the past, but custom charges tend to be a killer when they cross the border.

I still enjoy watching the old episodes compared to most cartoons out there today I think they hold up pretty well. Here's something weird I noticed the other day while watching "Arise Serpentor Arise", apparently in the 5.1 audio version of the Rhino discs, the dialouge changes in the final episode. You know the part right after Sperpentor comes to life and they chain up Sgt. Slaughter? Out of the blue the voices change and everyone refers to Sgt. Slaughter as Sgt. Slammer??? Just struck me as odd?? Back on topic I really love the show and I hope the remainder of the orginal series makes it way to DVD as well as the DIC episodes. Can't comment much on the Sigma 6 show, cuz no matter how hard I try I just can't get into it. I just find it so lame.
