  1. They're already scalper fodder on EBay...at 100 bucks each, give or take.
  2. The same fans voted Wolverine over Lobo, Storm over Wonder Woman, and Spider-Man over Superboy. Not exactly a ringing endorsement. @hmmm@ (That said, yeah, Doomsday probably wins this, sadly).
  3. Yep, if I can in fact score a set of W5 I will definitely want to pick up some improved goggles for Eradicator.
  4. Quite possibly. But at least there's a chance at snagging these at a decent price.
  5. Oh, man....don't get that started. There's pages and pages of it over in the MOTU forum already.
  6. Bats, after a long, tough tussle.
  7. http://www.mattycollector.com/store/matty/ContentTheme/pbPage.News And there was much rejoicing.
  8. Yeah, I'm always going to favor the DC guy in a close match like this one. So, GA gets my nod.
  9. Yes, you absolutely should. You should also let me know where it will be so I can be NOT in the building when the Islamic knuckleheads arrive to blow it up.
  10. Welcome back. I hope the comparison to SQ isn't accurate.
  11. There was a discussion of this over on CriticalMess fairly recently. As I remember they said the changing size thing was not a Kirby concept but a John Byrne later addition.
  12. Don't expect much from 'Captain Cold' when you get there.
  13. Yeah, it had more than a few problems. I questioned the dark look even back then; really not fitting for Flash. Still, 15 bucks is a tolerable price. The 50 I always see it going for is ridiculous.
  14. I watched it when it was on originally. I've seen it off and on since then in reruns. It really didn't hold up to the memory very well, much like Superfriends. However, for 15 bucks I'd buy it, absolutely.
  15. I honestly don't care what Marvel Legends did with their articulation. I didn't collect them; I thought they were over-articulated, to be honest. With DCUC, my preference is that the articulation remain consistent throughout the line, or as consistent as possible since this change is apparently already imminent. Part of the reason DCUC appeals to me is that the lines of the figures are so clean - adding more articulation will tend to break that 'clean' look. Just seeing the images of the Blue Beetle from ToyFair, the double joint was glaringly out of place, IMO.
  16. This change, even on a limited basis, so far into the line is bad enough. If they change to a ball jointed hip I swear to God I will drive to Mattel headquarters and start taking hostages.
  17. No problems here, really. Kilowog's arm was stuck, but it took all of 2 minutes to fix.
  18. http://cgi.ebay.com/BRAND-NEW-DC-LEX-LUTHOR-VS-MASTERS-OF-THE-UNI-SKELETOR_W0QQitemZ200444139834QQcmdZViewItemQQptZLH_DefaultDomain_0?hash=item2eab66d93a Apparently they've hit middle America. And people are stupid about them.
  19. I picked up the Supergirl/Lex and Hal/Abin at my local TRU the other day. Still haven't seen the TRU exclusive single Batman yet though.
  20. Surely there's a third person reference or a rant about not displaying our DCUC and DCSH and DCD figures all on the same shelf coming.
  21. Just finished Arkham Asylum and The Saboteur - both were really entertaining. I was a little bit let down with the ending of both though. Going back and playing Bioshock atm.
  22. I keep waiting for someone to start speaking in third person.
  23. Yeah, that Aquaman has been highly anticipated. Nice find. *edit* At least I *think* that's the Aquaman they were talking about over at CM. I'm not much of a JLU guy so I don't really keep up with it.
