  1. 'Bout time. Easily my favorite of all the current toons. Though I saw the Scooby episode on YouTube a few weeks ago and it was...meh.
  2. Saw the remnants of a case (Robin and All-Star Batman) at Wal-Mart in Warner Robins GA last Friday.
  3. Joker, maybe Gordon, maybe Two-Face. Freeze looks like ass.
  4. The TRU single packs were cancelled. ToyGuru said in a Q&A a couple of months back that the Joker would now appear in a 2 pack, and indicated it would be with a white-faced Harley. Nothing more has been said about it so far.
  5. The online retailers have apparently been told not to expect these until April. They had been found at Meijer's already, this is the first sighting at Wally so far as I know. The guy I get mine from (MikeS) is highly surprised that they hit retail first. As for the Red Lantern, it seems if the figure is packaged as Nite-Lik, the symbol did not get painted on the chest, only on his collar piece. If the figure is packaged as Skallox, it did get the symbol. I've seen posts at both Matty and at CriticalMess where they had the same issue.
  6. Haven't seen the movie, but the comic is great.
  7. Yes, they've shown more Blackest Night / Brightest Day stuff. Warth, Red Lantern Guy, etc.
  8. I don't think DC Direct is going away, but Georg Brewer is out. You'll have to wait and see what happens from here on out, I guess.
  9. That is what I hope for, but I don't expect Mattel to give us four completely new body sculpts. I think they could pull off Wally, Zoom, Mirror Master, Weather Wizard and Heat Wave with fairly minimal tooling.
  10. I'm expecting Wally and four Rogues.
  11. There was a problem with some etailers getting shorted on their Robin solid cases according to MikeS over on Critical Mess - something to do with the 'modern' Robin packaged incorrectly, so some orders may be delayed. I'm currently waiting on MikeS to get the rest of his order in so I can get the wave shipped all at once.
  12. I loved the show, but no interest in them appearing in DCUC. Maybe a movie masters type deal as mentioned above.
  13. Collect-and-Connect: Apache Chief Toyman Black Vulcan Samurai El Dorado Modern Captain Boomerang Bronze Tiger (Classic) This is what I'm expecting (as it has been passed on by a source that has been on the money so far). I'll snag a Bronze Tiger, maybe Boomerang depending on the incarnation and costume, and maybe Toyman, then save more money for the LOSH set.
  14. Available now on ToysRUs.com for anyone still needing 'em
  15. Got mine in the other day, then saw a set at TRU today. Overall, I like 'em. Still not sold on the double joints for Black Hand or Manhunter, but admittedly they do work well for Abin/Amon Sur.
  16. I broke down and bought one myself, despite the ridiculous price. The metallic Hal does nothing for me, never cared much for metallic paints except in limited situations. I like the height on Sinny, though the arms are screwy, and I wish they'd gone with more sculpted and less painted detail (like on his boots, f'r instance). Still...beats Shrimpestro any day, IMO.
  17. Brave and the Bold has been confirmed for one more season. Dunno when that season will start, tho.
  18. If the beam was just a power beam I'd like it better; I can't find the pic at the moment but it's actually shaped like the ring which I wasn't digging quite as much. And as someone said over at Critical Mess, his headsculpt looks more at home in the Public Enemies line - very cartoony. Also, re: Star Sapphire - yay more articulation changes!
  19. To be clear, none of these aliens are 'new'. They've mostly been redesigned (badly, IMO, but whatever) for the movie, but all are established characters in the GL mythos already. G'hu is the most recent, having been introduced in 2008 IIRC.
