Hello. I'm kind of just getting back into Star Wars collecting. I've picked up several, here and there, like the awesome Kasshyyk Trooper and Commander Gree, the Force Unleashed figures, Luke/Mara comic pack...a couple more. Anyway, I come here pretty much exclusively for any Star Wars related news, but I was wondering, what is a good website to see some good pics of the figures? I want to scroll through and see which figures are worth owning and get a look at them up close? Any SW websites out there that do toy reviews and have a complete catalog of images to look at? Any help would be great. Actually, any great SW sites, besides this one of course! Thanks!! --Skot
  3. http://gijoeclub.com/comics08wave4.cfm Storm.Shadow over at JBL.com posted this great find, so all credit goes to him! Discuss!! #US1#
  4. Also, the HISS and Mech are there, as well as the SKY BAT!!!!
  5. If you only got the 1st wave, then your really missing out. Though the first wave is good IMO, they have gotten better with each wave. The last wave to come out with Zartan and Lt. Stone are very cool. This line has honestly become one of my favorites to collect these days. Amen! With the exception of the last Soldier wave, most every series released, Commando and Soldier, has been stronger and better than the previous offerings. I mean, all of these figures we're talking about here look amazing and these are just Soldier class! Seriously, I think it's just been an amazing time to be a Sigma 6 fan.
  6. It's been another year already?! HAPPY BIRTHDAY YO!!!!
  7. Action packed, great cliffhanger and more Blackout/Barrel Roll scenes...couldn't ask for more, except maybe MORE chapters and quickly!! Thanks Justin!
  8. http://enewsi.com/news.php?catid=190&itemid=10223 Saw this this morning and I couldn't help but think CLAM would love this. Though, I'm sure they'll butcher it and NOT put him in his short, green trunks. We'll see...
  9. Oooh, that is GREAT news, as I've been pondering about getting some of the smaller scale Sigma 6 stuff, but the "statue"ness is what keeps holding me back. Now that I know I can make them more action-figure-like, I'm a happy (and convinced) camper!!!
  10. That's so funny...I was thinking the same thing! You're right, though...this is great stuff and at an incredible price. Too bad I have to wait to buy more...stupid payday is still 4 days away! Oh well...I shall return Big Lots!
  11. Need these now!!!! 2-3 packs, easy. More if I can afford to. Thanks JayC!
  12. Right on! I can't wait until I get paid again!! The best part is, where I'm located (NE OH), nobody is as heavy into Joes as I am and I know that stuff at Big Lots is going to wait for me to clean it all out, especially since it's not a holiday season. I can't wait to pile a cart full of that stuff.
  13. I would love one of those BATTLE COMMAND POSTS also...those things are awesome. Saw the review at Justin's website, looks really cool.
  14. I just went to my BigLots during my lunch and came out with a Lookout Tower and a Bunkbed set. They had sooooo much stuff, it was insane. I can't wait til my next payday...I'm going back and amassing an army! Camel/Horse sets, campfire/kayak/parachute sets, all of the humvee variations, lookout towers, soldier packs, bunkbed sets, helicopter sets... all at very awesome prices! I LOVE this stuff...it's going to come in handy with the dio I'm working on! Thanks to JLT for the head's up!
  15. DOC! Glad you're back...I second the "where's your cobra island/castle?" question!!
  16. I would love an IG set! My preference would be 2 different sets, one with some troops, and one with some of the generals and main guys, much like GMW said. I want 2 IG's, 2 T.A.R.G.A.T.'s, an Undertow and a Nullifier in the troop pack. I love the idea of repaints, giving them a more unified, IG look. My second pack would have v2 Destro (with a gold comic-pack head-sculpt), Voltar, Metal Head, Alexander, Armada, and Mayhem. Give all the generals' new-sculpt heads.
  17. Thanks! Sounds good...I am finding quite a bit on ebay, but without knowing how much they retail for, it's a little difficult to know if I'm getting a good deal or not, but it doesn't seem too steep, so we'll see. Raptor, on JoeCustoms.com, said that they're very compatible, but they just don't mesh well with anything else that could be used in a dio, so I was thinking of subduing Playmo's more "animated" look with a blackwash or something. Any thoughts on that?
  18. I know a lot of diostory guys frequent in here and I was wondering how many use Playmobil stuff in their dios and how well it fits in with the 3.75" Joes? I was thinking about getting some, particularly the Office Equipment set, but wanted opinions before I did so. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks! --Skot
  19. I believe I've made my feelings for this episode known to you, but I must continue my praise. EXCELLENT!
  20. Wow! Yeah, this was awesome!! I figured it was coming, but even still, couldn't have anticipated how cool it would be. I definitely don't want your 3.75" stuff to take a backseat to S6, but I would LOVE to see more S6 diostories from you Justin. So fun! Thank you!!
  21. Yeah, I agree, but I could definitely see it being a quick-attack/recon vehicle. Not too heavily armored, but a good amount of weaponry in the back in case of an emergency evac. I dig it. Perhaps I'll try it myself someday.
  22. I picked up #44 a couple of weeks ago (great pack!) and I just got #101 today. I really like it! I need to find the rest of the Oktober Guard now, though. My TRU had a ton of each in stock today. I hope you're able to get them soon TXT!
  23. I'll be getting at least 2 sets...very cool looking. I love the Plague Troops...I may just make them a new faction all together. And yes, more custom Steel Brigade troops, definitely.
  24. It's got to be Fast Draw. I love the 'stache...reminds me of Revolver Ocelot from Metal Gear Solid. Is that intentional, given his name? It looks to be one of your absolute best.
  25. Nov, sorry, that is rough! My sympathies. I, too, lost a beloved pet last year. She was part of my family for 15 years and was dumber than a post, but the sweetest, cutest doggie ever. She is up there with your girl, looking down on us...wanting oh-so-badly to chew up our Joes! Take care man!
