New Movie Masters Superman figs in at walmart
Dragonrider1227 replied to gruntcast's topic in DC Comics
Well...this club is going to have no more than three members as long as WB/DC keeps dragging their heels, but oh well. I think they look good together. Hal's head is just resting on his shoulders right now, I accidentally broke the head off while trying to turn in a few days ago. One of the reasons I'm going for the 4" scale. I plan to fill in the blanks with the Injustice figures. Sorry to hear about your Hal Jordan D: -
Absolutely. I share all those concerns. Final waves of toy lines not showing up have happened again and again. That's why I'm just watching online like a hawk to jump on the preorder, I'll just bite the bullet on shipping. Too many good figures to miss out on. Yeah, so far I think the only toy line not to do this is The Avengers and as much as I love GI Joe, even at it's best I don't see GI Joe doing THAT well. I don't usually pre-order due to costs but it's not a bad idea. Where would you recommend? Would we still get them even if they never get to stores? There is always that chance they end up at Ross if that does happen... Sorry for the thread bump but what's a Ross? I don't think my area has those

I suppose there's no word on the Retaliation wave 3 is there? :/

indeed and while the 4" figures aren't as good, they're usually easier to find than the 6 inch ones. Cheaper too. By the way. This shot amused me. It gave me a caption idea; Superman: Batman! We're starting a club. A Justice League. Wanna jo... Batman: NO -
Don't know why they'd bother. We've already got a MK vs DC Universe game

Nice photos Gruntcast and Yojoebro82 I like the movie Justice league and DC/Marvel crossover. I plan to do similar with the 4" figures. Yeah, I know. They're not popular but I like them -

Mattel's 6" Classic Batman TV Series "Julie Newmar" Catwoman Figure
Dragonrider1227 replied to The Wire's topic in DC Comics
Well, that's one man's opinion. make it two. She didn't kill Bat-Mania, but she certainly didn't reignite it. Though not directly the character or actress' fault, she was part of a last ditch effort to save the show. From a time when they actually thought of axing Robin, Gordon, and O'Hara to save money, I would assume that there are very few Batgirl fans out there. She's near the last of my list of must-haves for this show. Exactly. I didn't hate the character but she didn't really add anything but "female character to attract girl viewers." It also turned into "Batman and Robin are trapped. Let's have Batgirl save them" over and over and from what I've heard, she's not wildly popular. At least not in this incarnation. -
Ah but do those kids want to buy the toys now?

considering Batgirl was the downturn of the series, you may be waiting for a while. We've got Julie Newmar. I'm sold -
I think my vintage collection has been feeling a little... neglected lately

WOAH!! What scale are these in? -
Wow, I can't believe they're pushing wave 1 so hard. Do they really think kids want their GI Joes with molded on guns that badly?
-
Cool customs! Nice use of Wolverine yeah? What was such a letdown about him? I know he has a bad missile launcher and his eyes look a little funny. I'm afraid I don't think I have anything to trade for him :/
-
Ah, so he's going to be repackaged? That's good to know. Thanks. It was simply getting frustrating because it seemed everyone else was finding him XD Is Lady Jay gonna get repacked too because I've only seen her once but couldn't buy her at the time :/

Cool ones! That Monster line looked interesting. Never heard of it before. -
WOW! That's awesome! Well, did we back in the Super Powers days? I mean, extra articulation was a nice bonus for me as a kid but not a requirement

two Wal-marts, two Targets, and a Toys R Us and I've got jack on Bruce Willis. Anyone else having this much trouble finding him?

Dragonrider1227 replied to The Wire's topic in DC Comics
Toys for kids? That's just crazy talk @smilepunch@ I too am actually looking forward to these. Superman will go great with my 3.75" movie Green Lantern and Batman. Also, let us take a moment to appreciate this epic accent the reviewer has XD -

Well, it does seem to be what the kids prefer now if Lego is any indication. Worst things for kids to like I suppose. Speaking of kids and GI Joe... Not my kid but I had to share when I found this http://j2metal.tumblr.com/post/47898334340/my-son-fell-asleep-hugging-his-hiss-tank-awesome
