Is it worth getting Best Buy's exclusive extended edition of GI Joe Retaliation? Or is it just the deleted scenes from the regular version's special features put back into the movie?

Cool, thanks. I actually decided to go with Smalljoes but I'll keep them in mind too I think Hasbro is at a strange position. While the summer is the best time to release a GI Joe movie, it seems summer is the worst time to try to sell GI Joe toys. :/ Kind of makes sense. I'm pretty sure these days most parents are saving their extra money for back to school supplies and don't worry about toy buying until Christmas time

I have to say Cobra Commander might actually be the least interesting for younger audiences. They'll probably look at him and think "He looks nothing like that in the move" and pass. Which is fine. More for me
