  1. Nice! I'm trying to justify my future Punisher purchase by imagining it's the 'Circle of Blood' one where he's bulky, and not the 'old bodybuilder Ennis' type.
  2. I'm going to mix it up and hope they do some team packs. Classic X-Factor Classic Excalibur Classic Alpha Flight Classic New Mutants Classic Fantastic Four The Defenders (yup, all 63 of them!) Come on, they're aching to be made!
  3. Nice HISS and Stinger! Sweet to see they're continuing the 'smaller vehicles packed together' motif.
  4. I keep finding some more stuff. I found the Wonder Woman/Starfire/Wonder Girl/Power Girl/Ray Palmer Atom line today as well. And it was a Wal-Mart, so they're still out there.
  5. I forsee a lot of repaints for this wave, along with figures that were half complete when the Super Heroes line was canned.
  6. Are they going to delay the Nemesis Wave as well?
  7. Nobody likes Regen-Suit Supes. This will work to my advantage. Once I have him and no-helmet Barda, I should be set.
  8. What's the variant for Big Barda again?
  9. They probably figured it would be better if Hawkgirl was put out on her own in a future line, like in Wave 8 which I completely forgot because I'm a bonehead (edit). Because pre-ordering a two-pack with a figure that's about to be a new release is a bad idea. That said, they canceled the Teen Titans DCIH pack? Noo!! I wanted my Mullah and Brain! Now I insist on a Doom Patrol pack.
  10. DCUC is getting above ML in two ways: managing to put out obscure figures that keep the line fresh, and by still existing. Come on, when your distribution sucks but you plan on putting out five waves of figures in a year compared to a store exclusive and a two-pack laden line, you know you're getting your ass beat. And I like Series 6, it is BEAUTIFUL.
  11. I'll check my Walmarts tonight and see if I can grab Black-Suited Superman. That's the only one I'm missing as I got my Series 6 order in today. Woot!
  12. I'm tempted to grab these for myself. I like the idea of putting a subsection of the MU into its own line. That way you keep some rabid fans happy and spending cash while others can enjoy the ease of having another selection of Marvel characters outside of that getting more rare or lesser known characters. It makes a lot of sense.
  13. I live in the Metro Detroit area and I see plenty of them. If you're close to the border, I'd say you're in luck.
  14. Maybe they should branch out a little with DCUC and do some animation waves alongside the comic classics. It would be worth an experiment at the very least to see if there's a market that could support two DCUC lines. Just a wave with Apache Chief as the BAF, Black Vulcan and Samurai and some others as the figs.
  15. Is E-nuk-chuk realy the word for brave in the Apatchy language? & what about Samuri, any one care to take a crack at trying to spell what ever the hell he was saying to invoke his wind & invisability powers? I doubt it. But it's still fun to say (no offense at all intended).
  16. I'll get them. And I'm not much of a Wonder Twins fan, but they look good so far. And I insist that the Apache Chief line be called the E-Nuk-CHUK Wave.
  17. Given that the leaked Walmart list for future waves was correct, I'm guessing that is also true. And Steppenwolf is coming out as well along with Forager and a few others.
  18. The only thing I've seen so far is a bunch of Meijer stores over here putting out Wave 2 and 4. I got an Artemis and a long-haired Aquaman today and found that the Infinite Heroes are now Buy 1 Get 1 Free and the three-packs are $9.88.
  19. Ugh, so it's 5 WAVES IN 2009, not a 5 wave in 2009. Meaning that we may or may not see the missing Wave 5 at Walmart in 2009 alongside a second exclusive wave that some of us may or may not see. I'm not holding my breath to see if DCUC makes it to Walmart. I'd loved to be proven wrong, but....yeah.
  20. When are these going to start being pre-ordered?
  21. Did I misread, or did Mattel say they're offering up Wave 5 again alongside the second exclusive Wal-Mart wave?
  22. Na, everything at Toys R Us doesn't move much these days. Looks like Hasbro up-ended Mattel by showing a bunch of new 3 3/4" stuff. I noticed some Marvel Universe stuff today and wasn't that impressed. Yeah, they're nicely designed, but for $8 I'll pass. The Infinite Heroes are a hard enough sell as it is, but the Universe line just seems...meh. I'd have trouble paying $5 per figure as is, but $8 is where I draw the line. Maybe I'll change my mind later on, but.....not today. Also, it turns out that Meijer in Michigan is having an enormous sale on DC Infinite Heroes until 3/8/09. Until then, it's buy one, get one free. And the three-packs are $9.88...or rather, the Commissioner Gordon set is $9.88, and maybe the first Flash three-pack. Meijer hasn't really gotten anything outside of Wave 1, so it's basically to clear the pegs. But if you're like me and have a few of the unimpressive Wave 1 and don't want to spend a lot, you can make out like a bandit.
  23. Either they're rethinking their attitude towards the line in terms of what they're offering/how it can sell better/how to make it more 'affordable,' or they're going to see if the fans remain with it so they can drop it. But I'm merely guessing here. The fact that the Nemesis Wave and the second two-pack wave are coming is hopeful...but to be fair, I haven't seen #$@# in terms of ML anywhere for the last few months (outside of the recent two-pack wave). That does not give me a lot of hope.
  24. Target in Michigan is having sales until 2/9/09 on Muggs. $8.99, regardless of the line, on every Mugg regardless of new or old. The only ones I haven't seen in stores yet is a few of the Star Wars exclusives, Destro, and the entire Transformers Wave.
