I back the good gorilla idea.
-
Nice! I'm trying to justify my future Punisher purchase by imagining it's the 'Circle of Blood' one where he's bulky, and not the 'old bodybuilder Ennis' type.
-
I'm going to mix it up and hope they do some team packs. Classic X-Factor Classic Excalibur Classic Alpha Flight Classic New Mutants Classic Fantastic Four The Defenders (yup, all 63 of them!) Come on, they're aching to be made!
-
Nice HISS and Stinger! Sweet to see they're continuing the 'smaller vehicles packed together' motif.
-
I keep finding some more stuff. I found the Wonder Woman/Starfire/Wonder Girl/Power Girl/Ray Palmer Atom line today as well. And it was a Wal-Mart, so they're still out there.
-
I forsee a lot of repaints for this wave, along with figures that were half complete when the Super Heroes line was canned.
-
Are they going to delay the Nemesis Wave as well?
-
Nobody likes Regen-Suit Supes. This will work to my advantage. Once I have him and no-helmet Barda, I should be set.
-
What's the variant for Big Barda again?
-
They probably figured it would be better if Hawkgirl was put out on her own in a future line, like in Wave 8 which I completely forgot because I'm a bonehead (edit). Because pre-ordering a two-pack with a figure that's about to be a new release is a bad idea. That said, they canceled the Teen Titans DCIH pack? Noo!! I wanted my Mullah and Brain! Now I insist on a Doom Patrol pack.

DCUC is getting above ML in two ways: managing to put out obscure figures that keep the line fresh, and by still existing. Come on, when your distribution sucks but you plan on putting out five waves of figures in a year compared to a store exclusive and a two-pack laden line, you know you're getting your ass beat. And I like Series 6, it is BEAUTIFUL.
-
I'll check my Walmarts tonight and see if I can grab Black-Suited Superman. That's the only one I'm missing as I got my Series 6 order in today. Woot!
-
I'm tempted to grab these for myself. I like the idea of putting a subsection of the MU into its own line. That way you keep some rabid fans happy and spending cash while others can enjoy the ease of having another selection of Marvel characters outside of that getting more rare or lesser known characters. It makes a lot of sense.

I live in the Metro Detroit area and I see plenty of them. If you're close to the border, I'd say you're in luck.
-
Maybe they should branch out a little with DCUC and do some animation waves alongside the comic classics. It would be worth an experiment at the very least to see if there's a market that could support two DCUC lines. Just a wave with Apache Chief as the BAF, Black Vulcan and Samurai and some others as the figs.
