  1. I disagree. I think the Kamakura and Beachhead look good. The Rock...not so much.
  2. They've had 5-6 months since it was first announced to figure it out. Even Digital River would have come up with something.
  3. I just noticed that Matty has posted the Legion of Super Heroes set in their Dec. 15th sale. It is going to have the re-isse starburst but who cares. I might be able to lay my hands on it this time.
  4. Seriously, give us a price. Makes ya wonder why they are holding that back. They have been "working on the billing system" for what 5 months now? Even Digital River would have figured something out by now. Who cares about artwork...give us the cost!!!!
  5. About half of them I find appealing. What I don't find appealing is $42.00 for a subscription and $20-25.00 a figure plus tax plus shipping. When all costs are factored in you are talking $30+ per figure. That is just insane.
  6. Well, we have seen 8 figures (some good, some not so much) the box that they plan to ship them in but still no details on how much. What are they waiting for??? It's time to put that out there and let people decide once and for all if they are going to pay 3X retail price for these.
  7. Wow, and people thought Mattel's subscription had problems. Hasbro seem's to have done them one better. Now you have to pay them for the "priveledge" of buying an over-priced figure. Unless they drop the mandatory Officer level membership this will be dead in it's tracks. I was very interested but don't plan on paying $63.00 (Canadian Membership) before I even order my fist figure.
  8. I like the fact that FINALLY there is a Dr. Venom but the sets look kinda....cheesy. They remind me a lot of the Funskool stuff from a few years back.
  9. Yeah, EE revised their website to say it will arrive in August. I guess we will have these very soon. I have been looking forward to these ALOT more than the movie figures (although some of the movie figures are growing on me).
  10. I don't know if they are coming out this month. Entertainment Earth has them up as well and they say October. It would seem weird that an internet exclusive like this would only have a 1 week lead time before being released. Hasbro likes to put short lead times on some movie related toys, but these are not linked to anything other than the toy line that has been on hold for about 7 months now. Either way they are one of the best sets that Hasbro has released in a long, long time (for any toy line). There are some waaay cool figures in these sets.
  11. In this case it was a decision on Mattels part to go exclusively with Target stores. We can still find DCUC and Infinite Heroes up here but not the JLU line.
  12. Both these sets are awesome!!! Some guys are gonna be nit-picky about weapons, or coloring or someone has the wrong type boots, but both sets are great. For once there is a set not loaded up with the 30th versions of Snake Eyes, Storm Shadow, Duke or CC. The assortment is great and I love every figure in each set. I just hope they make enough (especially that Cobra army builder pack!!!) I have to give props to Hasbro on this one. @yipee@
  13. Send them up here to Canada and I will buy them. Even though they are clogging up the pegs in the USA they wouldn't last a week in Canada. Keep in mind, the US market is the only market that these are at retail. For the rest of the world these would be new and as such would be purchased quite quickly. Why an international toy company would limit a toy line like this to 1 market only is beyond me.
  14. I think the writing on the wall started when Mattel decided to go exclusively with Target for the JLU line. And add to that Target never put them on their web site so that people who do not have a Target store in their area could easily get them. Lastly, the repeated use of the same figures with 1 new one. Who needs all those Superman's, Batman's, Wonder Woman's, etc? You would have thought they would have made a note of what killed the He-Man 200X line. All you could ever find was He-Man and Skeletor, none of the other figures people wanted.
