  1. Well it looks as if they're starting to reappear. Check out the seller's Auctions
  2. Hey man, no need to get all riled up. Like I said, they had these up and took them down before I had a chance to look at them. If I had bigger pictures I would post them. Just trying to give some idea of what they are. I'm sure they'll show up again soon enough.
  3. And also of note, if you can't see it, the one labled as "Nullifier" is that Flak Viper mold that's been floating around ebay for a while.
  4. So I found some new Joes up on ebay, bunched with the comic 3-pack figures. But when I went to click on the links, it came up with an invalid item, so the auctions must have been pulled. But I did keep the original page and saved the tiny little index images: UPDATE SEE PICTURES BELOW
  5. Well, they posted the link over at Joecustoms, about halfway down the page. http://www.joecustoms.com/board/viewtopic....er=asc&start=45 Yea, I'm not so sure about this. His tigerforce outfit is a little . . . too much IMO. But, hey maybe it will look better in person. #US1# Hell Yea
  6. Bigger pics here http://adctalk.com/index.php?showtopic=1964875&st=60 #US1# Holla!
  7. http://www.joecustoms.com/board/viewtopic....er=asc&start=90 Thats the page with the pics.... looks like the mockup used the new trooper head. #US1# Holla!
  8. I really like these sculpts for the three packs. Scarlett looks awesome, and the face is dead on. Kwinn looks like he jumped out of the comic. I'm thinking snake eyes is supposed to have camo pants and the black top, which would be interesting and look pretty sweet. These seem to be some of the best sculpts I've seen in a long time. I am on this boat man, I cannot wait either! This makes me sooo happy. #US1# Holla!

    G. I. Joe #29

What I am interested in (not sure something anyone else is) are the as of now unidentified army running around Sierra Gordo. I'm really digging their uniforms and viper-esque look. Are these the Coil? Also I PM'd Alyosha, about what parts would be good for customs of them, the most difficult part being the head. If anyone has any suggestions, let me know!
  10. I'm not sure if this has been mentioned at all, but someone over at JoeCustoms pointed out that it almost looks like Croc Master hiding in the swamp on the box art... I'm thinking he's talking about the guy sort of beside Zarana's head. I can see how this might look like Croc Master. Would this be a possibility of the heads they might be using for all/some of the dreadheads, or probably not?
  11. When did we find out about Major Storm last year? I can't remember. Just wondering about the time frame we have until they tell us.

Yo Dr, Lay off North Carolina man, it's a great state and I miss living there! I'm from Charlotte, so maybe that's why I like it. Sorry you live in a "septic tank" buddy. #US1# Holla!
  13. JK, sorry guys, a little slow tonight

    Pat Tillman

Whoa there punctuation! I think everyone knows that there are soldiers who give their all and have made sacrifices for their country and their fellow soldiers, no one is arguing that point at all. And I don't think anyone recognizes Pat Tillman because he "walked away from something." We recognize him because of what he was on the playing field as well as on the battlefield. Yes, turning down a million some dollar contract to serve your country rarely happens (if at all) and no matter how much you don't want to pay attention to that, it is of great significance. And hey, don't get me wrong, I think it would be pretty cool to have figures based on modern military heroes, but that seems to be a different thing then what is being discussed. I agree that the media was paying more lip service to this event then was really needed, but he is a celebrity. He's a person that many people have seen and watched, and therefore it is something that, for some people that might not know anyone fighting in the war, might bring things a little closer to home. Also, I don't think there is any kind of issue or lack of "respect" for the career soldier, as we all know what kind of sacrifices they make every day. It all boils down to the fact that Pat Tillman believed in his country so much that he stepped out from the spotlight and actually did something about it. Many atheletes have recieved bad press in the past year, and this is really a wonderful change, though it did end tragically. So... there is nothing wrong with wanting a figure of Pat Tillman. He's someone that really does embody the all American image. Now whether he would want that to happen as far as all the fanfare and whatnot, that's debatable. Another thing, it's hard to make a "hero" out of someone in the armed forces, as it seems that most members shy away from that kind of thing (and for noble purposes) Pat Tillman on the other hand, because of his celerity status, could not shy away from that (only because of his status, though it seemed that if he could manage to stay out of the spotlight, he would have) and a lot of people now have this "hero" they can focus on. Now I think this impacts on people who do not have close friends and family in the war moreso then ones who do and ones who already have their own personal "hero" Just my 2cents. #US1# Holla!
  15. I'm in D.C., so I think I'll go to the TRU near me today and see if they restocked. Is this the only new figure they have and they just restocked the old ones, or do they have other new figures as well?
  16. Where are you in VA? The last time I went, their bbi packs were lookin pretty sparse. Hopefully they're getting more in though. Thanks for the heads up!

    Pat Tillman

I think that would be a great idea. I think most people realize that yea hundreds of soldiers are killed on the battlefield, but it's the symbolism that Pat embodied that makes this significant. I would cast my vote for some kind of exclusive. In fact, I think I'd be willing to pay something like 50 for it if I knew the proceeds would be going to something like his family or brother. #US1# Holla!
  18. Flint, you double posted man. They are so going to seek you out as double posting in a thread is surely a threat to the convention, plus ... you are so dead Watch your back @smilepunch@ #US1# Holla!
  19. yea, this is pretty ##$%$#ed. People do have complaints, but in no way would they result in them not doing the convention. I mean, what kind of complaint could ever warrant an action like that? None.
  20. I heard they're bringing in special forces to deal with this serious threat of fanboy terrorists who are threatening Hasbro and Mastercollector. The fans just crossed the line when they sent back action attack figures, I mean they knew it was a Federal offense and considered treason. This is such a sad turn of events for the GI Joe collectors. So if you go don't forget to bring some rags to wear to help fend off the tear gas the riot cops will most likely be shooting at us. @smilepunch@ "This new Zartan sucks! . . . . . Oh god! My face! It burns!!!!!" #US1# Holla!
  21. Ska, search for "playset" on their website #US1# Holla!
  22. Over at Joecustoms someone pointed out this playset coming out, 1st Cavalry Division Bravo Company Not too bad, and the price is pretty good too... a lot more affordable then Cobra Mountain. The best part? That is beautiful! #US1# Holla!
  23. Happy Birthday man! Mine is coming up on April 20th, I'll be 24... whew, birthdays just stop being cool after a while @smilepunch@ #US1# Holla!
  24. @loll@ Oh man, Big Brawler V1 must be one of the bonus figures... Fabulous! #US1# Holla!
