revsears, yeah I remember now that he had a brother. Forgot about him until you brought it up. I think I saw Skarapz at the '04 convention, but didn't say anything. I kept to myself, lol.

I stopped buying GI Joe as a kid back in '87. What brought me back was seeing the 2002 figures at the toy aisles. Went to Big Lots and found some older vehicles and bought some of those and the figures as well. I don't buy the newer stuff, due to lack of room and lack of interest in the newer design. But I did buy the black ninja AWE Striker with Snake Eyes (wow he has no articulation), and Sky Striker when they went on sale at Target.

I remember all those names listed. I also remember a Nightcreeper poster that used to post frequently. Every now and then I check this forum, but not very often. But when I do look up the forum, I too type down adctalk.com to get here.

I didn't get charged shipping for my starscream either.

I got a Starscream Skystriker when it first popped up. It took several reloads for the checkout due to the load on their server, but I got my confirmation number.

Another article from CNN about GI Joe collectors... CNN Wow, 3500 square ft warehouse just for Joes... I'd like to see that.

Hi guys, I just went to CNN and saw an article saying his wife OKs his collection. CNN

Just saw the figure on the con's website. Looks pretty good. A 12" Crimson Guard parachute figure. Figure

Looks like they're releasing the 25th anniversary version of their Crimson Strike set from a few years ago. Personally I'm very disappointed in hearing this, as I was hoping the convention sets would stay in the nostalgic ARAH style. Convention Brochure

Yay, another Good Eats fan!

Orlando, FL. They have Disney, Universal Studios, Sea World and a few dinner shows (Arabian Nights, Medieval Times, Pirates dinner show, Dolly Parton Dixie Stampede). It was a huge crowd drawing in 2004, and families can have something to do. Tampa, FL. Um, only thing I can think of is Busch Gardens, where they have Sheikra, a rollercoaster with a 90 degree straight down drop.

I love the Viper 6 packs. I'm on the fence with the Steel Brigade pack though. I noticed the price on Outback..wow. Do they have a diorama this year at the convention?
