I actually saw 2 helmeted Bardas last night.

For those of you looking for Wave 7A, I might be able to help with a lead. If Kroger Grocery Stores are in your area, try visiting their Marketplace stores. The Marketplace store is bigger like a Target or Walmart. I was able to find Barda, Flash, Captain Cold and Kid Flash all in one night and they have refilled a couple of times. They are also really good about having the new DCIH figs and if anyone is a Batman Brave and the Bold fan, they have had all of those figs in the past. I hope this helps out. Other than that, I have been visiting BigBadToyStore.com and ordering figure through them. I just get tired of driving from store to store and never finding a damn thing. Happy Hunting.

I am going to take a wild guess that Target had quite a few cases sitting in a warehouse and are just now getting around to distributing them. So far Target has helped in my search for Wave 1, Wave 2, Wave 3 and of recent Wave 4 has started popping up on shelves. With the second Wave, I think there was only 1 Target in the Central Ohio area that received them. I wonder if they had these in a store room somewhere and forgot about them. Now, they have them showing up in several stores. It makes me think that Wave 3 might be sitting in a store room somewhere. Have come across Jason Rusch Firestorm and Harley Quinne several times this week. I am thinking of buying the figs again because I like them that much.

Today at Target, I saw the Series 2 set . They had the 2 Superman versions, Harley Quinn, Jason Rusch Firestorm and Black Manta. I have also seen an abundance of the Despero wave. The only trace of wave 7 is the first set with Flash, Kid Flash, Captain Cold and Big Barda.

Last night I picked up my the Flash figure. I think it is positively WONDERFUL. The paint app was done very well. Only figs I need from this series are Booster, Blue Beetle and Aquaman. Finding figs in Columbus Ohio has been tough but I have had some luck. I have even run into series 2.

Today I got lucky. I found a Barda (helmeted), Kid Flash and Captain Cold. Is this 7a? I have been ordering from BBTS, but I couldn't resist them. If I can't find the rest in store, I will probably just order the set online. Between DCUC and MOTUC, I am going to go broke.

Every month I look forward to getting a new figure. I am only ordering one of each though ... at least until they bring out Man-At-Arms. He was a personal favorite growing up.

I just put in my order for STRATOS. This is one of the figures that I have been looking forward to along with Zodac and Man-At-Arms. When growing up, my brother always got the main characters and I always got the secondary characters. To this day, I still love those secondary characters more.

The ordering process was unbelievably smooth. I had absolutely no problems this time around. Way to go Mattel!!!

I bought the Killer Moth figure and really like it. It is well put together . Even though it uses a stock body, it is very well done and the paint app was solid. I understand that some aren't Marvel fans, but does that really constitute a reason why DCUC will never pass Marvel? I will agree that at this point in time DCUC has yet to catch ML and I am a DC fan. If we compare DCUC to just the Toy Biz Marvel Legends line, DCUC has a long way to go. If we compare it to just the Hasbro line, I think it has already surpassed it.

When it comes to comic book lines, the DCUC line is a lot of fun to collect. I really do like how uniform the characters are and the sculpts are fantastic. When it comes to Marvel Legends, I really don't think that DCUC has surpassed it yet. In the Marvel Legends line there are some really WONDERFUL figs. The first Beast figure (from wave 4 )that was released is probably one of my most favorite action figures of all time. When I saw that figure I was amazed. The design and articulation were perfect for that figure. Series 5 had that terrific Colossus figure. Sabertooth was cool, but I think that figure kind of disappointed me a bit. The plastic felt different than previous lines. Series 6 had a terrific Juggernaut figure. That thing was HUGE and magnificent. Deadpool with Doop was another terrific addition to this collection. Series 9 delivered something we had all been waiting for , GALACTUS. He was cool, if his head wouldn't keep popping off. Series 10 delivered another treat with the Sentinel Build-a-Figure. Series 12 and 13 brought about 2 amazing figures, Sasquatch and Abomination. DCUC has had it's share of victories. Hawkman, Ares, Aquaman, Deathstroke, Solomon Grundy and Lobo all are fantastic figures. I am not saying that the other figures aren't quality. These are just the standouts in my mind. If DC continues to release quality lines without a ton of duplicates or multiple versions of the same character, they should easily catch up. Comparing DCUC to the old Secret Wars line, I think DCUC wins easily. When comparing it to the Super Powers line, I would say that they have a long ways to go. I don't even think that Marvel Legends matches up to it. That line had colorful characters with playsets and vehicles. Delta Probe 1 and Lex Soar 7 were my 2 favorite vehicles. How could anyone forget how wonderful the Hall of Justice was? I think any comic book related line would have a long way to go to catch up to Super Powers. Will DCUC do vehicles? I doubt it, but it would be nice to have a scale Batmobile or Batwing or Bat Cycle. A Hall of Justice or Watchtower could be cool. A Fortress of Solitude would be fun as well. How about just a carrying case in the shape of the hall of justice? =) How about an Aquaman and Aqualad figure complete with giant seahorses? If you want to be certain of cost effectiveness, get pre-orders through matty collector first. If DCUC could pull some of the vehicles and playsets off while still releasing quality figures, they could go all the way.

Might as well throw in Nightshade, NightMaster and the Enchantress. In the first series, they did give us Etrigan. Why not take it further? As for the Super Friends figures, It would be awesome to get Mirror Master, Desaad, Felix Faust, Cheetah, Toyman, Samurai, Black Vulcan and a collect and connect Apache Chief. Actually, Felix Faust would be a really awesome villain to have. He has been around forever.

BLUE DEVIL and KID DEVIL would be an awesome 2 pack through Matty Collector. I think I would prefer a modern Blue Devil. It would also be cool to get a Zauriel figure. Maybe package him with Neron. This line has made toy collecting fun again. I am enjoying the possibilities.

Anyone else in favor of a Harvey Bullock Collect and Connect Figure? LOL

I thought I was alone in wanting a DETECTIVE CHIMP, I am so excited that I am not the only one. LOL Detective Chimp and Ragman would be awesome. Put him in a 2 pack with Krypto. How about a Bat Mite and Mxyzptlk 2 pack?

I don't know if you have ever checked out this site, but I think you might really enjoy it. http://toyotter.com/sp/ It tracks the history of the Super Powers line and shows some of the proposed figures that would have happened for that line. Also, concerning Black Lightning and Black Vulcan ... DC couldn't use Black Lightning in the cartoon because of some legal issues. Instead they created Black Vulcan. Both characters are very similar and Black Lightning might be the closest we will ever get to having a Black Vulcan figure in the DCUC line. So, if you get the chance you might want to pick it up just to be on the safe side. Let me know what you think of the site.

TOYSNIPER, I have wondered the exact same thing. What will happen when they lose steam? The figures that they are placing on the market are coming rapidly. I know that my wallet is taking a hit. There are quite a few characters that I would still love to see ... actually there are tons of characters that I would love to see released. Marvel Legends changed hands from ToyBiz and it seemed like it went downhill from there. How many Wolverines, Iron Mans, Captain Americas and Thors do I really need? In the DC line, there are quite a few characters that I would still love to see. I would love to see Black Mask, Martian Manhunter, Detective Chimp, Ragman, Blue Devil, Spectre. Wouldn't it be awesome to have a collect and connect Darkseid or Bane? Huntress would be a wonderful addition as would Zatanna. Red Arrow would be great and the Legion of Super Heroes opens up some possibilities as well. Elongated man could be fun. We still have yet to see Hush, Poison Ivy. Ras Al Ghul. There is also the possibilities of several different Green Lantern figs and if there is one figure that I would love to see the 4 Horsemen sculpt , it would be Kilowog. I do have the same concerns but at the same time, after seeing some of the obscure characters that they have been including in their lines, I have hope. Who would have thought that we would get Mantis and Etrigan?

I finally received Wave 6 Today. I have Mr. Miracle, Dr. Impossible, Re-Gen suit Supes, Hawkman, Killer Moth and Captain Marvel. At first I was a bit nervous about the paint apps but I have really looked at the figs and they all look fantastic. Killer Moth is done really well and I love how sturdy his wings are. Mr. Miracle and Dr. Impossible are both very very solid figs. The paint apps are wonderful. Captain Marvel finally gets a wonderful figure done of him. I love this figure, cheesy smile and all. Re-Gen suit Superman is a very simple figure. The best part about the figure is the head sculpt. I really like the face on this Superman figure more than the pervious Superman figures that Mattel released. Finally there is Hawkman. Every series has a standout fig and for series 6 it is him. He feels like he jumped off of the comic book page. The colors are bright and the paint app is wonderful. He comes with his sword, shield and mace and looks AWESOME! I might buy a second one of him just to keep in the package. Very rarely do I buy 2 of a fig unless I think they are truly wonderful. This fig is that good.

The rumor that I heard is that Dan Didio told Grant Morrison to kill off Batman ( Bruce Wayne ). Morrison refused. Didio supposedly responded with " Fine, we are just going to do it in Final Crisis." Now, with Bruce Dead and the Black Lanterns on the horizon, we are going to see some major players in the Black Lantern Corp. Rumor has it that it will be Bruce Wayne, Martian Manhunter and Aquaman. If Bruce does indeed stay dead, I will most likley quit reading DC Comics altogether. He is my favorite character.

I finally got my order placed. After getting through to their service desk , they said they were having some problems with volume on the site. She suggested shutting down the computer and restarting and placing the order . I did it and it worked. Though my second time around I decided to use Safari and not Firefox. I don't know if it made a difference but my order went through and I am excited to get the figs. I wonder if the design of their site works better with one browser vs. another?

So, I am a bit angry right now. Currently I am trying to submit my order and for some reason it wont go through and I know I have more than enough cash to order the figs. So, I am on hold with Mattel's customer service ... this music is horrible. I have checked and double checked my payment information and it is still not letting me get through. If these things sell out before I get to place the order, I am going to be pissed.

it is currently after 10pm I think I am going to head out to see if I can find anything. btw, for those of you with a Meijer store in the area. Be checking the end caps. I have found a few DC Superheroes figs recently. Most of it was Bizarro but there has also been a Doomsday and a Supergirl.

WalMart is a database driven company. Once the data is analyzed, they will ship product to their stores. Actually a lot of companies that we are buying from are data driven. Once their product reaches a certain stock level, it should automatically be placed on re-order. At this point it should get shipped to the store. The problem is that we are asking for such a specific product from a company (Mattel) that has been having shipping issues. I don't know if there are any Masters of the Universe Collectors on this site or not , but we went through similar issues. What is so encouraging about this versus MOTU, is that the product is actually moving. To me, that means that the line should keep showing up in stores because it is quickly moving off of the shelf.

Concerning DCUC going on sale ... Just recently I was in a WalMart and was asking for the WalMart wave of figures. After explaining which figures I was looking for, they told me that they had recently received a box and while stocking noticed that the figs weren't even on the shelves for 30 minutes before being sold. Even more curious, it wasn't the WalMart wave. DCUC figures are just in huge demand. I can't imagine anyone putting these figures up for a lower price. I can't even find wave 1 anymore.
