  1. I love DC, but I am on the verge of jumping ship.
  2. You know what diminishes the thrill of the hunt? It takes 55 dollars to fill my gas tank right now. For those keeping score, that's about half a DCUC wave. It's upwards of 90 degrees outside. The only DCUC at my local Wally-World are the remains of the last Exclusive wave. The only store within 30 miles that consistantly carries DCUC also happens to be in a town with some of the highest sales tax in the state. Brother, the hunt ain't what it used to be. I agree the thrill of the hunt has lost its luster.
  3. SWEET!!!!!! Now give us a price.
  4. This isstraight from the Toynewsi website. http://toynewsi.com/news.php?catid=288&itemid=16920 "2011 Toy Fair: 2011 Indiana Jones SDCC Exclusive From Hasbro by Jay Cochran in Toy Fair at 08:48 PM on 2011.02.13 We told you about this yesterday during our Hasbro Panel report from Toy Fair, and now we have an image to go along with it which you can check out below. Hasbro's Derryl DePriest announced a new Indian Jones Comic-Con 3.75" Exclusive set. The lost wave with Toht, Marion Ravenwood,, Satipo, German Mechanic, Indy in German Disguise and Indy. They will be in a big special box that opens to reveal all 6 figures on cardback. The Indy figure in this set will have a new head sculpt. Toht will have the melted head and a changeable hand. This will be it for Indy from Hasbro."
  5. That picture surfaced when they were announced. If you notice that is an Indy from the line a few years back. He is suppose to be a new sculpt. The others are going to be from the old molds.
  6. I know about the lost five. There is suppose to be a new Indy sculpt. I am also curious about what the packaging will look like.
  7. SDCC is about a month and half away. It is time to show us some pics of the Indiana Jones SDCC exclusives. I am ready to see the new indy sculpt and box. Chopz
  8. All of them in North East corner of Arkansas Chopz
  9. I wonder if there will be any news from Wondercon about the SDCC Indy wave. Chopz
  10. I started using online e-tailers about two years ago. Before then I would try and hunt figures down at local stores. About two years ago online sellers had to get competitive with prices and shipping charges. Each online seller has disadvantages and advantages. From my experience these are the e-tailers I use on a regular basis. Big Bad Toy Store, Toycade, Entertainment Earth, Cornerstore comics. Big Bad Toy Store has a great plan called the pile of loot. You can pick the items you want and pay for them when the items are shipped to you. Entertainment Earth you can pre-order your item and you will not be charged until item ships, but you can also be added to a wish list and they will contact you when the item is in stock. Toycade has the best shipping rate of all sellers. However, you are required to prepay for your item and they are usually the last to receive the items out of all the online sellers. Cornerstore is usually a few dollars higher than the other sellers, but the shipping is fair and Cornerstore also receives the item rather quickly. I hope this helps you decided your next online seller. Chopz
  11. With me as usual I wonder what the price will be I bet the price will be $129 Chopz

    DCUC Wave 17

I am excited about wave 17, 18, 19, and 20. and the new 12 pack. I really hope Mattel goes past wave 20. There are so many good character that have not made it in to plastic from Mattel. Chopz

    DCUC Wave 17

The internet has become an outlet for people to whine, cry, and complain. The few that dont like this wave will post on every site, blog, and even Facebook. The haters will be the most outspoken. I hope Mattel will continue to produce DCUC despite the crybabies that can hide behind monitors. Chopz
  15. I will pass on the Hawkgirl and Gentleman Ghost two pack, since I already own them. I will pick up the Superman and Parasite two pack. I actually need a Superman, I have been giving mine away to the kids of my cousins, friends, and neighbors. I do need a Parasite. The Reviewer said that he has found them cheap on eBay. I have never had that luck. Chopz
  16. Christmas is fast approaching and most of us will tell our friends, family, and loved ones that we want toys for Christmas. Who do you think is the best and worst online retailers for toys? Who do you think has the best customer service? What retailer is the absolute worst and only cares about the dollar and not the customer? Write what you feel. These questions will be cross listed on several sites and run through a statistic program, to see who is the best and worst for buying toys. Please submit your all your answers at iloveactionfigures@yahoo.com
  17. Your right now a days the kids don't really have the experiences we did when we were younger. Today they are constantly connected with cellphones, internet, and game consoles. A lot of kids don't believe in "alone time or family time" they have to always be stimulated with something in their hands. Technology is getting faster and evolving quicker. The kids don't have time to breath before the next new thing comes out that is better, and the parents buy it for them just to shut them up. Technology and society will break down the traditional ideas. Tomorrow during Thanksgiving dinner, ask the kids, teenagers, and some adults to put down their devices for dinner and observe them. 18. We quit reading Marvel comic about two years ago. The stories were getting weak and I was just sick of the same stale crap. I only read DC comics, but my wife reads IDW and my daughter reads Batman and of course she reads our crap also. The price of comics has made us rethink our budget. Between the three of us we read 10 titles a month. If you add that up its about $30 a month. We usually budget $30.00 a month for comics. My wife was reading a comic that was $5.00 a month, but she stopped reading it. I remember reading comics when they were .60 each. I remember when my allowance was $5.00, I could buy an action figure and a couple of comics. As long as I am alive, I will always read a couple comics a month. Today comics are getting harder for me to buy. My local comic store has a new owner and this new owner is not customer friendly and is spending more time running of customers. The other place is Hasting and their distribution is horrible and constantly skipping issues. I am about to resort to buying comic online. Anyone else buy comics online? Chopz
  19. Chinese seconds, these have been on there for months. Chopz
  20. I have had mine ordered from Toycade since August. I went by Kmart the other day and it was loaded with wave 15. I went ahead and bought a set. When I get mine in from Toycade I will just us it for trading. I guess there is a fear in most of us that have collected this line of figures from is beginning. That when we see a new wave we just buy it. Because there is a chance that we will not see that wave again. Even if we have gotten it pre-ordered from an online retailer. I have had my pre-orders canceled twice of previous waves. Mattel and K-mart are doing a great job at getting these figures to its customers. I dread the hunt for wave 14. Chopz
  21. It took Kmart less than a month to have wave 15 on the shelf. I live in a small rural area in Arkansas and my local Kmart received wave 15 yesterday and I picked up a set. I live about an hour from the main headquarters and distribution center for Walmart. I have never seen any of the Walmart exclusives in my area and none of my Walmarts have have DC set in their shelves. I hate Walmart and it will be the downfall of all businesses, the de-evolution of society will and the zombie apocalypse will start at Walmart. Chopz
  22. A very good question, who knows maybe a guest appearance could happen. Or maybe that is just wishful thinking...lol A bank full of green, hot women to bang, passport to travel the world. Anyone would be lucky to get me to work ever again. Maybe he is one of these guys that does not need a lot of money to enjoy life. If I had a couple million in my bank account, I would enjoy life. Chopz
  23. I have a check ready with Mattel name=e on it. Bring on a Anti-Monitor Chopz
  24. The set is sold out on Walmart.com Chopz
