  1. I was under the impression that the Stormtrooper helmets were pretty varied anyway. Like some had that thick dark line, others had a thin line with a bit of white showing underneath, etc.
  2. http://www.bigbadtoystore.com/bbts/product.aspx?product=CBX10004&mode=retail I am assuming you are talking about this third party figure... There's also this one by X-Transbots. They have a Pipes variation as well. http://www.bigbadtoystore.com/bbts/product.aspx?product=XTR10009&mode=retail
  3. Just thought I'd post this up. I think this image exemplifies the drastic shift Hasbro's design philosophy has taken from the previous Bay movies to TF4, and why we're seeing some of the more collector oriented movie figures being put into the Generations line. From: http://tformers.com/reviews.php?op=showcontent&id=1483
  4. Kinda weird to see that movie toys will be in the Generations line.
  5. Voyager Sky Byte Voyager Roadbuster Windblade's alt mode (And Rattrap's cute little head)
  6. I'd keep checking around. You may have missed it at one store, but it might be yet to show up at others. Wave distribution gets really staggered around here.
  7. Skids was the wave before Scoop, actually. I saw Skids when I got my Waspinator. Haven't seen the wave with Scoop and Armada Screamer here yet.
  8. Congrats. I haven't seen one yet. I've seen everyone else, but Boba's the only one I want from this wave. I'm beginning to wonder if I really need him though.
  9. Hmm, looks ok. But that mold is very Jazz. I think I'm more curious to see how Windblade turns out.
  10. The one released here is a different mold (waist kibble)... Plus a new Starscream release would probably include the coronation kit. Also, in my case I only have the original MP-3 in that dark green/blue color scheme, which almost makes it look like a different character altogether.
  11. I know what you mean, although I'm actually digging the G1 toy look of the alt mode here. This Skyfire looks almost MP quality. Hopefully the final product looks this good (ie. don't cut paint aps).
  12. You'd think Hasbro could meet us halfway and release Starscream before some of the repaints, at least.
  13. The thing is, if they make the robot mode to perfect scale, I'm not sure there's any way the alt mode can also be in scale; whereas if they make the alt mode in scale, they can still create a robot mode that, while maybe not as tiny as BB is supposed to be, is still convincingly smaller than the rest of his peers. I think that would be a good compromise, and is my preferred option.
  14. IMO, this is very likely to happen. It just makes sense from a development perspective, and TakaraTomy has shown they like to get the most out of their tooling costs.
  15. BBTS has a listing up for a possible Blue Bluestreak. I'm hesitant to go for a straight up repaint, but if they change it up a bit and/or offer some cool accessories like G2 Sideswipe, I'll be tempted to bite. I have a feeling the blue deco will look glorious.
  16. Whoa, Lego dumpster fire. That's worth $1.99 right there.
  17. Whoa, Figuarts Mario. Awesome. I wonder if they'll do variants. Tanooki suit or Raccoon Mario would be my preferred versions.
  18. Looking at that scale chart, in scale BB would basically be on the smaller side of deluxe, I think. I'd be surprised if they don't upsize him a bit. Maybe so that he's a head smaller than Sideswipe and the rest.
  19. I hope that price is just a placeholder.
  20. For what it's worth, I saw Han in person at Target a few weeks back and thought he looked better than he did in any of the pics I've seen online. Maybe he just doesn't photograph well. Saw Leia too, but eh, she still didn't look quite right. All I wanted was a Boba, just one Boba.
  21. I doubt a new designer will want to upset the apple cart much, so things will probably keep rolling along smoothly. Part of me does wish Hasui had gotten to Jazz though, just for consistency's sake. Unfortunately, his talents will now be wasted on me because I doubt I'll be buying many movie toys. =(
  22. Nice. Thanks for posting. I appreciate the effort put into the 2 images. It certainly wasn't a waste. Really looking forward to Wheeljack.
