  1. http://tformers.com/combiner-wars-defensor-in-hand-photos-of-generations-protectobot-combiner/26328/news.html Defensor in hand. Speaking only about combined modes, I think I like this one better than Menasor, but not as much as Superion.
  2. Speaking of cheap and easy repaints... Blue Bluestreak! http://www.bigbadtoystore.com/bbts/product.aspx?product=TAK12102&mode=retail
  3. How do you like Powerglide? He looks pretty good there.
  4. Walgreens was not the only place to find thrm. Did they show up at Rite-Aid as well possibly? Anywhere else? I just remember it was a tough line for me to collect, even though I wanted to.
  5. With no Walgreens nearby, that line frustrated me.
  6. News out of Australia Toy Fair is that Tracks is actually MP-26 and the as of yet unannounced MP-25 is due out in September. They acknowledge that this may just be a mix up with the numbering though (meaning Tracks actually is MP-25). At any rate, MPs 25 thru 28 are all due out before the year is over (the number of actual new molds in the bunch remains to be seen). I think Sunstreaker will require an all new mold compared to Sideswipe. Tigertracks was made because it was a cheap and easy repaint.
  7. Target is increasingly looking like a barren land if you're hunting for new Hasbro products. I broke down and ordered Generations Crosscut off Amazon. Never did see that one at retail. At $12.99, it's probably cheaper this way.
  8. Yeah, that's a poor move. I guess he got an offer he couldn't refuse, but if that's the case why bother with a yard sale at all? Just make it a general sales post and be done with it. Sorry for your loss (or non-gain, anyway), GD!
  9. How do you like Viper, the Cobra Rattler homage?
  10. No problem. I'll keep that in mind for the future. I did clean up a few of the new links because they were redirecting me to TFormers main page for some reason.
  11. Oh wow. I didn't realize that lil guy actually integrates with UM til I saw additional pics. Had to look on TFWiki to find out who it was.
  12. I went back to the walmart I mentioned earlier, and Star Wars was right next to Transformers. Shows how perceptive I am.
  13. I really like the vehicle design actually! Looks very futuristic and properly Cybertronian to me. The unpainted wheels hurt the overall appearance though. Looking just a little hollow in areas as well (but could be worse). I also think the pegged on wheels for the Constructicons look a bit cheap. I thought Hasbro knew we didn't like those by now.
  14. Feel free to add to it. 15. Yeah, the components are Voyagers after all. Would be nice to get a bulk discount, but what can ya do. Looking at some screencaps, I think the black arms are cartoon accurate. The original toy had purple arms. And the box art has him with green arms, haha.
  16. Approx. Retail Price: $149.99/Available: Fall 2015 source: TFW2005
  17. I stopped by a local walmart tonight for kicks. Their Transformers section has been pretty ho-hum for awhile. Some non-selling TF4 figures, and those RiD one-step changers. But tonight they had moved things around a bit (I guess that's the reset?), and the Transformers section is actually smaller now. They did put a peg of Combiner Wars out though. I was glancing at the back of the package... it's weird that they suggest you use Drag Strip with Superion. Silly Hasbro. I didn't see any Star Wars either, now that I think of it. But then again I wasn't really looking for any.
  18. I don't blame you, the MakeToys piece is beautiful. I'm drawing a blank though, what's CW Devastator? Oh duh, Combiner Wars. Carry on.
  19. These look amazing. Talk about news coming out of left field. I'm not sure Bandai and Hasbro have any sort of working relationship, so bringing these stateside might be complicated.
  20. Oh yeah, good call. I looked it up, Toy Fair is Feb. 14-17. Another 9 days...
  21. I'm starting to warm up to Hasbro's Devastator. My only real gripe at this point is the narrow/blocky head. I can deal with the weird Mixmaster foot, though I do wish it had the chrome front grille from the original toy. Need more pics!
