I have the regular version of that Seaspray. Gotta say I prefer the G2 look.

Thrust is kinda my favorite as well, but the import price is just so high. Maybe by some miracle Hasbro (do they still do MPs?) will release these someday.

Inferno + Cheetor are home runs. Too bad the Coneheads are all gonna be exclusives, but it helps me to save cash/space for the other MPs I want.

Amazon Japan, yeah. Off the top of my head, I know that Wheeljack came with an exclusive accessory as well - the anti-hypnochip device.

I don't collect much 3rd Party stuff, but Mastermind Creations (producers of Terminus Hexatron) and FansProject both have good reputations.

MP Bumblebee is showing up in TRU's computers. $65 though.
I don't think they're leaving G1 behind. I'd be more worried that they only make one or two Beast Wars characters during the 20th anniversary year and then none after that. I'd like to see a variety going forward.

TF selection in retail stores is definitely sparse right now.

TF is one of the few non-flash-in-the-pan franchises still consistently on the shelves from year to year. I think they're doing ok as can be in an age where kids play with phones and tablets more than toys and their imaginations.

Slave Leia is soo tame compared to the image that a lot of female pop stars are out there portraying these days. So I don't think society really gives a sh*t, but Disney is hyper sensitive about their image and if upper middle class soccer moms start agitating they're gonna play it safe more often than not.

I'd be happy enough with one Conehead in my collection. My hope is that Thrust at least will be a general release. I agree that it's a gamble to wait for Hasbro. They're so far behind Takara's release schedule at this point; I just don't think they have much motivation when it comes to the MP line anymore.

I'm really into Skullcruncher. I'm glad they didn't try to update his colors or anything. '80s hot pink all the way!

Titan Wars? I guess I made that up. It's actually Titans Return, and it will be part of the Prime Wars trilogy along with Combiner Wars.

The heads in this line are Headmasters, basically (just don't call them that), and are interchangeable with one another. Additional heads will be sold separately at a $5 price point, which I find cool.

If they really wanted to, it wouldn't be hard to make small changes to the vehicle modes to circumvent any copyright issues. I just don't think there's much motivation these days to really "go back" to G1, as cool as it would be for a lot of us. It wouldn't surprise me if they're looking at IDW's continuity though.
