  1. morning stockers don't bother to read. they just look at the barcode label area. if it's shaded or non-shaded. that's how they figure out which goes to the floor.
  2. and toy collectors are whiny little b!tches. `nuff said. what? warehouses aren't exactly walk-in closests..... that you can... "oh there it is! wave 10!"
  3. nah. it would be a waist of time to even go to that route. why bother. how can you tell if an employee is acting lazy or playing dumb with you. most of the time they've been warned about "collectors" who cause trouble. and besides, not every employee knows every single item on their inventory or store. if they can't help you, i'll just walk out of the store. my experience whenever i hunt is to get to "use" those employees in the right way. try to fish them for intel. like when would be the next shipment would be or how can they look up in their store manifest when a particular product will arrive or drop prices on clearance, etc. that's how i manage to figure out their distribution and shipping schedule, and time to wait for the next re-stock of any particular wave. and guess what, it works. and i manage to beat a scalper, coz i got first dibs on his stash. including a comic pack variant.
  4. well not really no breaks in between. more like when one new wave hits.... you won't find it on retail, and on time. rather you would wait for the revision cases instead or in my case restocks after a month or so. plus it's becoming more like "i like 2 out of 6 of that wave" kinda of a deal now. so i guess, it's ok unless of course hasbro is more like pushing more crap (on repaints and re-use molds). so it will depend on which collector on would be taking a bite of those.
  5. discontinued?!?!? then that would mean TRU won't be selling these exclusives anymore. uh-oh. normally, those other "missing" items are well hidden by other collectors. check the panels or check the girl section for hidden stashes. the lady is telling the truth. believe me, i've been in that situation. no need to force any employee to go look for them on the warehouse, coz they never put stuff on the warehouse, they are always on the floor. except that people hide s#it!
  6. i'm staying away or at least cut down on the hunt. no point on going inside these stores where there's a ton of crowd and what's worst merchandise all over the floor, kids all over the floor, and seeing other people who couldn't make up their mind on what to buy or not. word of advice, avoid big crowds. save yourself the trouble. there will be better stuff later. or if possible shop early when the adjust their hours in the hella early 6am opening or 4am.
  7. probably people have "bots" that are programmed to make purchases. ever think of those spammers that infiltrate forums? the bots just register and then log-in the created account and start posting spams and advertisement, etc.
  8. well it depends. where is your location? i guess it will be a surprise to you, but the rest, it's like getting them is getting easier now.
  9. how much was it when it first came out? $50 also?
  10. i'm not sure from which country this TRU is at...probably Singapore. but if you notice the Toys R Us signs all over the place, but then the "Only at Wal-Mart" logo on the box. LOL @loll@ funny as hell
  11. i wish they re-release that soldier force line with the harrier jet.
  12. Toys R Us is slowly getting new stuff for their True Heroes (aka Elite Operations) toyline this year.
  13. wow. everyone want figures? you all know hasbro is just gonna recycle existing parts and redeco it. "Viola... i give you Leatherneck and Cutter." LOL why not vehicles? like this: pictures courtesy of topnotch97 (hisstank forum)
