I gotta admit, as much as I despise the circumstances, I'm kinda liking Outsiders...I'm actually looking forward to seeing Winnick digging into the "surprise villian" that showed up at the end.

Yeah, "President Lex" is pretty much the whole basis behind the Superman/Batman book that's coming out next week. If you look at today's JLA, you can tell they've set up that Supes is ready to see him leave office, and you can bet Bruce is ready to get him out of power too. One problem is that Lex knows who Clark is...and he's kinda using that as blackmail, from my understanding. (don't read Superman much) I really can't wait for that book...looks like it's gonna be fun. (BTW, for anyone who did get JLA, did you catch the reference to Jason Todd?)

I loved how they basically came out and said once and for all that Tim will be the next Batman.

It came out today...as has been the trend, it's really good. There's still more story to go, and more questions to be answered. The best is yet to come, so hang on to your seat, true believer!! heh, sorry, wrong company...

Well, Hasbro doesn't do 2-ups...they do everything on a 1:1 scale. So the what people saw at OTFCC (I saw someone call it "not-BotCon"...I like that), should be what we get. Based on the pics from the Hasbro panel, I'd say he's in the vicinity of 12".

Hmm...about the same price as the Palisades statue, but not even half the detail. (even though it's about twice HH's usual detail) Methinks someone's frightened... Gotta give 'em credit though. That pose is kinda spiffy.

Actually, I'm not sure how much they could actually make him look like Megs without running into the same problems as the REAL Megatron. When you're talking prop pieces, the rules are a bit different...just look at the Nick Fury gun that Factory X did...but that doesn't mean they don't exist. I say add on Starscream's forearm and make it a wall-mountable piece. But then...I still want a Matrix.

See Ken...told you I wasn't the only one who would want one of those. I still say a "transformed" Megatron would sell like hotcakes.

What about doing a couple of mini statues like Lazerbeak or Ravage, that could attach to Soundwave somehow? They could be sold separately, and would even make nice stand-alone statues.

It's a rumor...nothing more. For Palisades to do the trailer would require a license that Hasbro would NEVER allow anyone access to...their TF figure license. Only Hasbro CAN make a trailer, and they aren't. Palisades is NOT making the trailer...sorry guys.

Heh...wanna know a secret? I'm a bigger Bat-fan than I am a Trans-fan...don't tell anyone though, it could get me killed around these parts. I WISH I had seen these around here. I found the Batmobile over a month ago...pass...the cars are almost always sub-par. I've found the deluxe figures at Meijer, and Meijer alone. I even bought two of them to tide me over. But I still NEED my Zipline Batman, Joker, Nightwing, and especially Robin...even though I plan on repainting his head to get rid of the stupid frosted hair. I hear Target's quarterly store set is supposed to be completed by Monday, however, so I think I need to go shopping. So...how about them Transformers...heh...

Two words that have served me well in cases like this: Forced perspective. Prime looks like he's out front leading the troops off of the shelf. Same goes for Megatron...even though we all know he'd never actually LEAD his men into battle. Cowardly Decepticons... (hey, those are two more words that serve me well...heh)

Hey, I could be wrong, it's happened before. But I know that I read somewhere in the coverage that they have a "magazine appearance to make". I think it was in the coverage of today's panel, actually. I drew my own conclusions from there.

Even if they DID resize the rest of the line, why couldn't they keep the leaders at the larger size? I mean, let's face it, those'll probably be the two largest sellers, and centerpieces in their respective buyer's collections. The rest will go more to fans of that particular character (like me and my Prowl...eventually) than to everyone...because whomever has enough money to buy them all needs to come and pay me a visit. And bring their checkbook.

Way I hear it, Energon Prime and Megatron are embargoed for show until they make a magazine appearance. The Palisades Prime statue had the same deal...if you saw the coverage on the 2005 boards from the licensing show, and saw that they cut something out of the pic...that was it. They weren't allowed to show it until it made it's appearance on the ToyFare cover. I'd guess that's where these'll show up too.

I don't usually hear anything until it's "official", but if they are, I haven't heard it yet. Not that I'd count the idea out, but I kinda hope they don't. I'm pushing for Prowl, myself, and I'd love to have him on the same scale that Prime's on. So in short...I don't know. Sorry. (but I'll ask)

Personally, even if my name gets picked and I'm ON, I'm not gonna respond. I won those Justice League figures last weekend, so as awesome as a free Unicron would be...it's someone else's turn. I wish you all good luck though.

The earliest anyone might see Megatron is pre-toyfair in October. Since they'll be releasing 2-per quarter next year, I have a feeling they're holding him until the other one for first quarter (Arcee) is done. Don't know that for sure, but it fits in with the way they like to do things. I know at least a couple of the guys are at the show this weekend showing off Prime. Can't wait to hear what people think of it in person...I don't get to see it live until Wizard in a few weeks.

Don't know about why they picked prime...but I have a theory about Sideways. He's a minion of Unicron right? The same Unicron that's supposed to tie Armada to G1... G1 and Beast Wars/Machines have already been tied together in the past. Remember who's spark turned out to be in Thrust (you know, the motorcycle) in Beast Machines? I'll give you a hint, look at that color scheme and think "speech impediment"

I just want you to know, I agree with this statement 100%...however, as this is a TF board, I must cover my own rear and say: "Kill the heretic!!!!!"

Interesting... Check out the color scheme on Sideways. We know that he's a minion of Unicron, and we know Unicron's supposed to somehow tie Armada into G1. We also know that G1 ties into Beast Wars/Machines. Could Sideways have Waspinator's spark?
