  1. ....but that would make him a scalper and he is not...... ......you are not, right? #US1# of course im not...if i was i don't think i would still have 9 screamers after 3 years...scalpers dump figures when they reach high prices...i hold on to all my transformers and i enjoy buying multiples of my favourite ones =). i even held on to my original predaking giftset, even though i knew the price would plunge after the reissue was released...why? because i love the figure and it took me a while to get the gift set...i had to work a lot of extra hours over the summer =( and yes the only reason i bought all those star screams was to make a tower @smilepunch@
  2. nice whirl and sunstreaker are freaking sweet!
  3. WHOA!!! i was surprised as hell when i found a STARSCREAM reissue today at TRU!?!?!?! yes after almost 3 years i find one on the shelf in pretty good condition. they may have found old stock in the back or something because i hear about old figures popping up everyday. it was at its original price point of $29.99cdn so it was still a steal of a deal since there was only 1 left. oh yeah they had mashed up hoist reissues for $29.99 too @grumpy@ anyhoo heres some pics of the starscream and my starscream collection... pretty mint eh? now my starscream tower is getting bigger! most of my starscream stuff...the best G1 villain!!! whoo hoo old stock rules!!!
  4. my tru's still have hoist...but all the boxes are mashed to hell and almost all of them are opened =(...and they still cost $24.99 to boot!
  5. you can click on the "my collection" link at the bottom of my sig to see some old pics of my collection...i've got a bunch of stuff, but havent had time to take pictures yet...my room used to have a little of every toy line in my room, but now its all Transformers...the rest of the stuff is in my closet. tracks has been one of my favourite autobots since i was a kid...prowl, silverstreak and tracks were my first autobots actually =)...so naturally now that im older and i can afford TF's i want to buy everything i can of my original favourites =)
  6. the cybertron show really sucks... i was going to buy some of the new cybertron stuff like ligerjack, jetfire, vector prime etc...but after watching the show and seeing how crappy the voice acting and story was...i passed on the toys gawd do i hate jetfires voice on the cybertron cartoon...it makes me feel like im watching the freaking crocodile hunter
  7. he's one of my favourite cars from gee wun so im building a wall of tracks @smilepunch@
  8. i bought cases of the alternators waves to get tracks...as well as tracking down cheap ones on ebay...none of the tracks i have were found at retail...up here in canada our stores dont carry alts anymore =( on the back of the robotmasters sky/crack box is just old G1 art like the e-hobby boxes...i expected something else, but i guess they just wanted to package them with old e-hobby boxes to make it cheaper...
  9. shouldn't red alert have sideswipes head instead? @loll@
  10. my BTs are great...but i usually keep them misb and open my set of alternators...i havent had any problems with any of them yet. the only problem i ever had was with the Big Convoy Optimus from beast wars neo...his freaking right arm always POPS out when i transform him...and hes freaking hard to transform too!
  11. the sunny supermarket ones do not transform (man if they did that would be insane!) they are made by kabaya and my friend said she only was able to find them at Sunny Supermarket in Osaka. you piece them together like the transformers PVS's...expect the paint job and plastic is very very good quality
  12. Well, I just got back 2,500 from school loans I did'nt use.. soooo... its not that hard, and a good paying job helps too. Lovely haul by the way. yep very well said...i have a part time job and i try to manage my money as best as i can =)...which is how i can afford to buy the transformers i want =) bringing your lunch to school and taking the bus instead of a car saves you quite a lot of money over the months... money meant for toys =D
  13. wow...its wierd how ehobby is selling the original G1, while the regular release is the anime colours... i thought for sure it would be the other way around... well i dont think this will be one of the hotter e-hobby reissues released...
  14. Well...fast food toys aren't the best toys in the world...at least in North America...but they look at toys differently in Japan...they put Tons of effort and quality in their figures...even ones that they sell at supermarkets with GUM!!! im compairing the recent Burger King Cybertron Optimus and Megatron Kids Meal Toys to Japan's Sunny Supermarket Kids Kabaya Gum Galaxy Force Toys. Both cost about $1.25US and both are for kids in their respecitve countries... check out the difference...Sunny Supermarket Gum Toys on the left while BK kids meal toys on right man i wish i lived in japan @hmmm@
  15. whats up doods...here is my recent and probably last big haul for a while (im busy with school =(... it was straight out of JAPAN!!! i have a friend that is staying there for a while and she managed to pick me up some GREAT stuff!!! For freaking sweet prices too!!! check it out yo...these are from tokyo and osaka toys r us, comic shops and sunny grocery stores! Thing bust, Ultra Magnus MP, EZ galaxy force prime, WST prime + trailer, robotmasters thundercracker/skywarp, BT prowl police + blue KABAYA FIGS!!! + other various supermarket toys at $1-2 each some of the Kabaya figs opened =) i'm happy i got the prime and megatron caps as they are the ones i needed =) and finally...yeah i got another BT tracks... school stinks...but we still got our fat hauls =P
  16. is it just me or does this news sound like bs...
  17. red alert looks like he has a huge head on the rsx =P
  18. Here is how I came up with my haul... I sold 5 reissue TFormers that I had (they were all doubles). I made $1200 from selling them. (crazy, yes... I know). I paid less than 1,000 for all three. The most expensive of all 3 was Grand Max. I didnt actually spend any out-of-pocket money... just the profit from selling the figures. One of the ones that I sold was a black JafCon Prime.. but, I was able to score another one for a much lower price. @firedevil@ #US1# wow you paid less than $1000 for all three!...that is a crazy steal of a deal! which reissues did you sell to make that much money? that is some serious haulage
  19. looks like the Alt prowl is gunna end up costing more than the BT version due to its 1 per case-ness its wierd how Alts are usually worth more than Bt's...just take a loot at BT-tracks and BT-meister compaired to their Alternator counterparts
  20. damn my bad...i really thought it was a joke due to the massive size/cost of the haul!!! congrats bro...the grand max is freaking sweet also how much did you pay for your LD sky linx?...i can't imagine you paying anything lower than $1000US. im very curious
  21. nice the sunstreaker and wheeljack pretty much pay for that lot if they have most of their accessories!
  22. OMG this is a joke right!?!?!?!?! haha
  23. anyone know a good place online to grab a Alt prowl? i got the BT versions but the Alt one looks kinda cool still =)
  24. wow thats one nice grab!...i love finding sweet pieces for low prices at comic book shops that overprice their stock =) its time for you to buy a lottery ticket today!
