  1. sup, i'm new here

Good to see some new people around here! 'Whats up', you say? We are just hoping for some new movie masters and talking about the false 'plastic shortage' which is Mattel's excuse for raising the prices. *sighs* Everybody just wants more money when they know people like us want to buy stuff from them.

  2. man....the bat pods are flying off the shelves! i went to pick up spidermanskrull's pod, and damn near had to put foot to ass! some fool actually tried to reach in my cart!

    damn thanks for that pooda

    no problem.

Pooda, where do you get all these guns for the figures? Do you just buy them seperately, or they come with different figs?

  3. I am not really much of a collector, I just grab what I like and display it. I love the toybiz legends. Hasbro gives Marvel figures a bad name IMO. I was lucky enough to get a modern armor Iron Man for $20 loose on ebay. It didnt even have the yellow painted around his back and on his sides. (is that a varient)

  4. Has anyone seen them yet? Just seeing that pic I want one now. He's not 12" but not only 6". It looks like a good figure and I need a good hulk figure to make up for the dissapointing Hulk movie line. Hows the articulation on him also?

  5. Masks should be a good $20-$30. The whole costume....it depends which one you want. The delux costumes at Party City are aroun $50-$60. I know I am just buying a Joker Robbery mask with a few friends. I am putting on a weird collar shirt with a jacket over it. I am the Joker and my friends are going as those thugs.

  6. I love the metalic looking paint on the arms and mask and legs. The shading on his clothes are a plus also. I like the face to. When the base figure first came out, I didnt like the head sculpt, but you made it look great! Good job!

  7. Anyone see these around Philadelphia PA? Also, hows the hip articulation? Is it like the Iron Man figs where you can only move them from side to side and you have to twist the ball to make them go back and forth? Or has Hasbro at least got some sense to fix it? I hope to find Spidey and either Wolverine figures. I am not sure when I am getting to a Target store though.

Haven't seen anything yet, and I've checked the Target at the Metroplex in Plymouth Meeting, the two Targets past King of Prussia (Oaks and Royersford) and the Target in South Philly. All of them still sport the previous wave and only the South Philly Target has the Hulk series not to mention none have ever had the two packs.

Okay, well I am not around those Targets, but thanks for checking. I've checked one in Warrington Crossings last week and they still had the Queen Brood series. About a month ago the on in Montgomeryville had the Hulk series so I'll check that one soon I hope. I am just after Wolverine and Spiderman.

Now, is the Spiderman completly black or completly blue? Or does it have a blue highlight tint sort of thing?

  9. Ahem, its a collector's item. If only they were the same price of a "toy" being maybe $20-$40.

20-40.00? the adds for the product cost more than that.

Well how much are these things really worth, material wise. You look at it, its just well sculpted plastic with well cut cloth and neatly applied paint. Cant really cost to much to make them, could it? Correct me if I am wronge here, but I am not really that 'in the know' of 1/6 scaled figures.
