  1. the PIT looks very similar to something i know as a BIG PIECE OF CRAP. $100 for that hunk of plastic is ridiculous.
  2. zartan's elbow joint snapped right off while trying to fit him for the swamp skiff. has anyone else had this problem-or with any others? if so, were you able to mend it to provide some movement with the elbow?
  3. As I walked into Wal-Mart today I noticed the Marines outside doing a Toys for Tots drive. So, I make my way to the Joe aisle (and score set 3 of the dvd combos) and figured a good way to reduce the old comic packs, figures, and vehicles-buy a few and give them to charity. For those of you able to afford doing so, please consider this. It is a great way to clear the shelves and help some young kids get into a great toy line. At least with the comic packs the little tykes will get to read while blasting away at other Joes.
  4. target sucks with the "no hold" policy. and hasbro sucks even more for making these damn things target exclusives. however, i did grab two of them this morning by showing up around 8. the other thing that sucks is target's online toy finder feature. dont trust it. i wasted a trip thinking a local target would have them. if it shows it being at the store near you, call them and make sure. but i am pleased with the toys. very nice additions.
  5. i prefer the upcoming movie version (nude).
  6. i am getting tired of snake eyes. one character with a dozen versions. whats the point? all we need now is a version of snake eyes asleep. and all this ninja crap is too much, in general. GI JOE, to me, is not about ninjas. its about whipping ass with guns'n'ammo.
  7. i am missing flint from the first wave-thats it (I dont care for the con exclusives-only wide release figures count in my collection).
  8. seriously, following a customer down the aisles is really stupid. whats the point? are you gonna tackle him and take the figures? if someone followed me around the store and then outside I would be really pissed off. from the old man's point of view he has no idea what you are going to do to him or why you are even following him. it seems far fetched but he could have grabbed a pocket knife or a bat and walloped you upside the head. if you work at a hospital in the neurology dept./lab one would think you'd have the money to buy them elsewhere (e.g., ebay, ig bad toystore, etc.). but, that's your decision to buy them at walmart. next time, don't follow people around who happened to get the item you wanted. he could have been buying them for his grandson or, as many of us dislike, to sell them on Ebay. try checking at night or calling them each morning or asking for a raincheck (doubtful that they will do this but it's worth a shot).
  9. next time that happens you (man from Calgary) drop kick his ass and then pummel him while shouting "Yo Joe!!!!". then you go get a pair of scissors and cut his hair.
  10. and will the rattlor and Joe jet be upfront by the registers or in the toy aisle?
  11. this repaint crap/new gimmick is what doomed the 2002 MOTU line with He-Man and Skeletor and other assorted characters.
  12. in general, what is the consensus for the right time to check walmart for new Joe figures (stocking hours, early morning, etc.)? thanks
  13. where will the dvd packs be available?
