  1. I like it. I got it yesterday at Times Square TRU. It has a good likeness to the actor and has more value than the plain Previews exclusive version and if theres one variant thats worth it out of the young Comedian, clear Manhattan and unmasked Rorsarch Its for sure the unmasked Rorsarch.
  2. Hey guys havn't seen this posted anywhere. Sorry I don't have pics but all you guys should PM those figure site press dudes to snap shots tomorrow. I saw these today ; they look good but a bit small in comparison to series 1 I think. There was MGS 4 Raiden, in a crouched position with a sword. Looked pretty cool Vamp from MGS 5, crouched. Looked cool. Big Momma... Not sure from what game, I gues MGS 5 but was in a bodysuit and not the trenchcoat look A crouching Old Snake in a Spier-man-like pose with a cigarette in his mouth, it sounds boring but it was one of the best ones there Finally a Naked Snake in olive Camo standing erect with a gun and a kinfe in his right hand. I loved this one the most but he looked suuuper small in comparison. bad ass looking though. He was sans eyepatch or face paint by the way.
  3. They had on display the 7 of 9 and Borg drone. Both looked great, in the same display case was the Sisko and Chair and the Dukat and Sisko two pack. That was it for Star Trek. To purchase they had TNG wave 5 and DS9 wave 2 minus Kira. I bought DS9.
  4. Got the S9 wave 2 minus Kira today at NYCC
  5. Hey guys this is more of a kitbash than a custom. The great news is that you can order and compile one for yourself but I thought I'd show it off if there are any outthere who didn't know about this figure yet! A new company called Loading Toys sculpted a fantastic Daniel Craig head as well as packaged it with a less fantastic outfit from his final scene in Quantum of Solace they named this set "Dangerous Man" to avoid legal ramifications I'd assume. Bootleggers storerooms.com casted (badly I might add) and sold this head as a full figure, with a wonderfully tailored suit (actually cut like a tux though) and a lot more acessories, guns, watch, cell phone etc. First i ordered the Store Rooms spy seven knock off and was terribly diappointed with the lackluster head but loved the tux and acessories. I ordered the true dangerous man afterward and pieced the leftover parts off on ebay to make some money back. I peiced together other odds and ends and the end result is one of my new all time favorite figures! RECIPE: Loading Toys Dangerous Man head Dr Toys Spy Seven tux jacket and pants, watch and PP9 Saturday Toys shoes Sideshow Dr No Bond Tux shirt and bowtie. Hot Toys truetype body Look to ebay to get all of the above items!
  6. stellar. Makes the mdicom one look like a silly little doll. Hot toys is untouchable when it comes to batman.
  7. It was more than a worthy sequel a really excellent movie but was a little dissapointing for me. First the bad, because theres less of it than good. I have to say that my biggest problem with this movie was that it seemed like there was no central character. Even worse, the supposed main character Batman himself was the least interesting character in the movie. Thats why Begins was superior. It had Batman as a central caracter and portrayed him as a complex enigma, unlike this movie where he felt rather flat and one dimensional. And I have to say Christian Bale really annoyed me with that ultra cheesey voice. JUst... why? I understand he has to disguise his voice but he sounded like a fool. Other than that there were just minor things that bugged me, the glowing sonar eyes of Batman, the "spider-man" like scenes such as the one where the two kids are pretending to fight guns and then the car blows up. The terrible acting from Jim Gordan's son. I Liked the preformances. I really liked Ledger's Joker and am dissapointed he won't be able to make him return to fight another day. Gary Oldman is always good and Jim Gordan is such an imporant character I was happy he had so much screen time. He has the character down pat. Evey other live portrayal of Jim Gordan has been nothing short of a pathetic joke. There is nothing about the Burtan movie's Gordan that leads me to believe that he is Jim Gordan. but Oldman, one of the most underrated ad professional actors of all time brings him to life possibly more accurately than any other character in the Nolan movies. Eckhart was good and I loved what they did with Two face although he seemed a little rushed, I wanted more of him but felt they used him just the right amount to make his role in themovie make sense. Part of me withes he wasn't in the movie though because I like the character and like what Eckhart did I think he could stand alone in another movie.
  8. Oh grow up and stop with the dramatic whining. You tell me you're "losing interest" in the line now but yet somehow you've maintained interest for "over 20 years". Just buy the figures, the more they sell the more they'll make. Its not that hard to figure out. Especially without the hype of the movie to back it up.
  9. My overall impression is that stylistically and tone wise it was great but each story was so short and insignificant it was hard to enjoy it as a whole. Personally I think that it worked as a set of trailers for larger more fleshed out stories and if thats what it actually was I would be very excited to see the whole thing. Too bad they didn't deliver on this. I still enjoyed it though, it reminded me of the Spawn animated series.
  10. No i just bought it at Forbidden Planet in NYC. I thought it was out. Tey just had them there for sale. I got the two disc special edition.
  11. I'll start watching it tonight but I garontee I'll fall asleep before its over. Damn 9 to five monotony. I've been looking forward to this for awhile though, hope its good.
  12. Incredible Hulk sucked. Thats all I have to say. But Batman Begins was the best superhero movie of all time. And Iron Man, the first Blade, X2, the first Spider-Man, all pretty good. But they're not Batman begins. DC isn't so hard off in my opinion.
  13. In regards to the season 1-3 Sisko and Dax I'm with you on that. We saw the prototypes, where are the figures? I want them especially since they are releasing a Worf in that uniform with the upcoming two pack with his brother. I agree with all of your other very good points ESPECIALLY the fact we are getting Kira in SF uniform and not major Bajoran uniform. In fact I completely forgot she was part of the next wave until your post because I was left completely unsatisfied with the SF uniform version we were offered. In regards to wave three I'm positive there will be one. Why not? They never implied there won't. I'm sure we'll see Quark in that wave. Hopefully Dukat and Jake too.
  14. Guys, I'm surprised I haven't seen this option suggested for a swap yet. Its by far the easiest swap you can do and it makes the perfect Raiders Indy figure. We all agree that the likeness is real bad on the ROTLA standard carded Indy with jacket. Unlike the Star Wars figures, not all of the ball joints for the heads are the same size ad that one in paticular is the smallest one I've seen which makes a straight swap hard. However I noticed that despite being a real bad figure, the likess on the cracking whip ROTLA Idy was great, I took a gamble and discovered that the ball joint was the same size as the jacket ROTLA indy. So thats it! it looks incredible, by far the best stadard Indy now. ROTLA jacket Indy body + ROTLA whip cracking head
