Yeah... like "...can't we get GI Joe down here!?!?" That would be sweet. Or even better... greenshirts. I know you couldn't have Snake Eyes but if you put a bunch of no-names in GI Joe gear, that would be great as well.

I'm hoping that it will be a good "popcorn" movie. You know... the type that if you shut off your brain and cram your mouth full of popcorn it becomes a half-way bearable movie. I would understand the uniforms better if the team was the original members (the ones that all wore green), and maybe that's what they're trying to capture. But at this point, it appears to be one big crapfest. And speaking of costumes, if the director made a big deal about making Miller's cans bigger, you'd think that they would have been featured on the Baroness poster. Just a thought.

You got me there. I too have been scratching my head on this one. But I will chime in and say that the more I think about it, the more I like the title. Do you think we're going to get "G1 Paint Varients" on the figures like we did with Transformers? I hope not.

The thing is that offense is being taken where none was given. Hoganvibe said he didn't care what the movie was called, he just didn't want it to stink. azrael23 said "Exactly", which indicates AGREEMENT, not ARGUMENT, then said that complaining about the title was trivial. At no point did he even hint that he thought Hoganvibe was complaining. Hoganvibe misunderstood and took offense when azrael23 was actually backing him up... but instead of clarifying, azrael23 actually IS arguing with him now. No one involved in the current argument had their opinions threatened. It appears that this is a simple matter of taking things out of context. Both guys need to step back and realize they're making a fight out of nothing. Hoganvibe isn't touching this thread with a 12 foot pole... well... until now. I think you mean Azrael23 and Wheeljack35... or something like that. Hoganvibe was the one that spent this entire time reading about Baroness's boobs until I saw my "codename" popping up here. Speaking of titles... do you think that they'll call this movie "Action Force" in the UK? They could have one actor dub all of the voices just in any part that they say "GI Joe". It would be great! Wait... no it wouldn't. I'll go back to reading about boobs.

I'm going to stop by the local hobby store (that also sells vintage Joes) to see if they have any Action Force that I can color match to.

They're not bad. But it makes me wish that I got the Microman Batman when Batman Begins came out.

I don't know... as a kid at heart I can see the cloth cover as being more fun. But as a guy that wants to customize, I like the plastic top. I've never had a lot of luck weathering real fabric.

I agree with everything except this officer bashing But seriously... if they would have kept all of these points the movie would have been a sure-hit! That would be sweeeeet. At the same time I would have no idea what to tell my kid when they start showing up at his school!

I agree, like Transformer. It doesn't matter. I mean, Cobra will rise. I'd have a problem if it were called "The Return of Cobra" or "Revenge of the Fluffies" Then again I don't care what they call it as long as the movie doesn't stink

I only use ebay when there is something that I can't find locally or from the community of Joe Collectors. Usually there's someone around that's willing to help you out. There's a guy a couple miles from me that buys and sells old Joes at fair prices. If anyone is looking for something, let me know and I'll see if he's got it.

I suppose you could cut it off and put on Flint's or maybe one from Marauder. I think that maybe I'll sculpt my own head... something that looks closer to my old filecard

I'd like to see a GI Joe line that is not the movie, not a "tribute" line... but something that represents the armed forces and the equipment that they have today. The Duke with the humvee and the Slipstream/Ace that came with the F-22 were cool! Those are some pretty good choices. My grandma got a HAVOC for me and my brother one Christmas and at first we didn't like it (we wanted a Skystriker). But we ended up playing with it A LOT! The hovercraft thing-a-ma-bober was a great toy (especially in the back yard "combat missions"). Cross Country was dressed kinda goofy, but I think that they could make him better. Wasn't Thunder the guy with the scope that he wore around his neck? I can't remember what vehicle he came with but the figure looked pretty good. And I've decided to dust off the Bridgelayer and make a custom 25th anniversay Tollbooth. I want to get rid of the orange helmet and the ugly-beyond-ugly face and see what I come up with. I figure that Hasbro will never make this guy (although they're making a Nemesis Immortal)

I would have laughed if Falcon would have had a repainted Duke head with a beret and justified it by saying "well... they're half brothers". I probably wouldn't even buy this if I didn't have a lot of fond memories of the Lt. Falcon figure that I had as a kid. Naturally the Green Beret lead all of the backyard adventures! But the Nemesis Imortal is just plain silly. The hot water tip really works! Thanks Darthhenning! As for the other packs... I guess I'll hold off on getting the single pack Destro and just repaint this one. I'd get more, but I don't know what I would do with all of the extra Destros... as I'm sure that I won't be able to sell them on ebay. The only pack that I will be happy to buy will be the CC/Tripwire.

Do we know what's going to be in these sets? I can guess that "Arise Serpentor Arise" will come with a v1 Serpentor. Going through the episode descriptions online, I found some characters that I wouldn't mind seeing made: AIRTIGHT FOOTLOOSE DUSTY v1. FLINT ALPINE QUICK KICK DR. MINDBENDER SGT. SLAUGHTER more OKTOBER GUARD LIFELINE Is there anyone else? I mean... besides the ones listed on the vehicle driver want list? Oh... and FATAL FLUFFIES!

Now... before someone points it out to me, I did suggest Tollbooth originally and then added him to my "won't make it unless in comic pack" list. I got my Bridgelayer out of the basement and took a look at the figure. I must say... it's the ugliest Joe in my collection. I basically just want a second Bridgelayer and I don't care if they put a different driver in. Cover Girl? Sure... I guess. I always thought the Wolverine looked funny. Duke with variant hard hat...? well... maybe not any driver.

I never got the Cobra box set so I'm looking forward to this Destro. I only wish that they would release the box set Baroness. Roadblock will go into my pile of custom fodder. Lady Jaye is fantastic. I'm glad I didn't get the one with the hat.

I've tried Reprolabels before in the past. They're pretty good, but some of the decals fall a little short. Granted, Transformer decals have a lot of metallics and weird stuff like that. When I started refinishing my old GI Joe vehicles, I figured out that I can make my own decals at work. If something isn't the way I like it's so easy for me to change it. And like CobraStickers I'm able to print white on clear and precut the suckers! I works for me because outside of my Skystriker I have a lot of vehicles that may not see a reproduction sticker sheet for some time (ie. the HAVOC)

I blast oil companies for the high price on plastics and pickles. But it is a bit frustrating that even within the city there is drastic differences in the prices from one Walmart to another. And it's funny because K-Mart is now the CHEAPEST place to get GI Joe in Des Moines. 6 month ago when they had figures priced at $5.99, they couldn't move merchandise and now figures fly off the shelves (yup, still priced at $5.99). $2 wouldn't be too bad if I were just buying toys for myself... but with groceries, gas, Disneyworld, public schools and all of that jazz... adding a buck or more on everything adds up fast (as we are all feeling). I don't blame Hasbro, but I'd like to steal the wallet of the guy that is making a ton of money off speculation
