  1. I used to have tons of 3 3/4 Joes and vehicles, as well as 300+ 12 inch figures in my collection. Unfortunately, I had to sell it all as we fell on hard times and set my mind to sell them how I would like to buy them. The Carrier loaded with Conquests, vehicles and the such set up as if in a toy commercial. I almost caused accidents (didn't mean to), and all my Joes were gone in less than 4 hours. This happened three times when collecting in my life. So now I just shop ROSS. Can't afford much, so I'd buy what I could afford, and what I thought was cool, and amassed a nice toy collection in the past 3 years from GI Joe 5 packs to Star Trek, The Turtles, and even Power Rangers (Since I like Japanese Sentai), and some cool Dragons, and even awesome sailing ships for under $20.00! So far so good. I'm very happy, and not neurotic anymore. My toys I've amassed are on Photobucket. I hope it's ok to put the link here. And almost half the toys from Batman to Narnia were from ROSS. Others were from Pricebusters, Happy Meals, old collection photos, or maybe Mall Sales. Also, My GI Joe 12 inch and Diorama Small Joes are long gone... http://s802.photobucket.com/home/SkyBuzz/allalbums
  2. I found 3 Combat Heroes two packs for $3.99 each, and a few figures from ROC. I picked up the CH, (Never thought I'd get them!), and roadblo..err... I mean Heavy Duty! Awesome!
  3. These came out about 3 weeks ago here. I just got a nice amount of my Credit Card paid off when I saw these. I bought four (gave one to a friend), and they STILL had at least 10 to 16 I think... I rarely buy star wars, but now I have 15 troops to pilot my pair of ARC-170s (Well, they look close enough), now all I need is one more R2 unit and I'm set!
  4. I made my own with RAH figures. Not as good as these, but not bad...
  5. Wow! You know, it was my 10 year old nephew who first showed me South Park, Video games, and the Internet. AND Chat rooms.
  6. I went to ROSS today to look for more Power Ranger figures, and found one, BUT I just happened by when they put out a six figure set called "Joker Squad". It is soooo cool, I bought four! It was only $15.99!!! The sticker says "Entertainment Earth Exclusive" on it. I looked it up on the internet. Never heard of it until now, but now for $64.00 I have 20 stormtroopers and 4 Sith guys! AWESOME! There were 16 more sets left after I picked mine out! A rare, but happy treat! SkyBuzz
  7. December 23rd, I found 3 Evolution Packs @ ROSS for $10.99 each! I didn't find anything, but when I was checking thru the Power Ranger selection, (what they had left) I found hidden in the back of them, Rebel Pilots (Tien Numb plus 2), Imperial Pilots, and a Jedi Evolution Sets (with Older Luke, Qui Gon, and a female Jedi). And going to the register, I went by an employee picking up misplaced merchandise. When she saw what I had, she dug around in the wheel bin, and pulled out another Rebel Pilot Set! "You want this one too?!" Awesome find. And Boy, these are great. Even the Clones have faces! Now I have someone to pilot my ARC-170s. I could hardly believe how EMPTY the shelves were. They only had P.R. RPM Motorcycles, a few Narnia Sets, and three or four Dragonball Z figures. It was a miracle I found those sets! I'm a Happy Camper... Happy Holidays all!
  8. If you want to see more pictures of some of the Narnia toys I have, just go to the review site BUZZILLIONS.COM, and select Toys, and type in Narnia. I also have everything in a Photobucket Account, but don't really know how to link it anywhere. But I have it tagged (Narnia Toys, Prince Caspian Toys, Aslan Toys), if that helps. No profit or anything. Just want to share the photos.
  9. The toys are showing up like gangbusters at ROSS stores. So far I have: The Castle - $18.99 Catapult - $4.99 Best 2 packs (Aslan/Lucy - Edmund/Gryphon) - $4.99 Narnia 3 packs (Edmund,Peter,Caspian & King Miraz,Telemarine,Trebouchet) - $4.99 ^ inch figures (Peter,Edmund,Aslan,King Miraz, Minotaur) - $4.99 each They come and go all the time. Check out your local ROSS Stores!
  10. This is what he looks like... I really liked the vehicle too. I had to pay about $60.00 plus for mine, but it was still pretty cool.
  11. I started collecting some of these DCUC Three-Pack figures casually. I'm a "oh wow...what's that?" Collector. When it's affordable enough I'll pick them up from, and when they're available at ROSS. I have six or seven three packs and they were $4.99 each. I'll get more as they come out, and open all of them. Sure glad I do. Supergirl in a three pack with Bizarro and Wondergirl had a badly mangled leg, and glued right arm which really was lousy. No other of these were left so I kept it. Good thing. Two days later, I picked up another set, and got three perfect figures including Superman! (Yeay! - Didn't realize Bizarro/Superman were alternately packed). Articulation isn't the greatest, but at least I haven't paid too much for them. I like them, but even I noticed that other stores would get get some figs and not others. Well, hit or miss, these were pretty cheap and I still like 'em.
  12. All you need is the Narnia Castle. TRU has it for $29.99, and it's $18.99 at ROSS' DRESS FOR LESS. Kinda Small for Destro, but maybe it could be one of his Summer Castles in Wales, or Northern Ireland.
  13. Yeah, I got into this line two years ago when I discovered ROSS Dept Stores. It was a shock to find such goodies in what I thought was a clothes store. The regular figures were $6.00 or $7.00 and the deluxe like the SE Paratrooper and Sigma Strike Duke were $9.99 as well as having the 2.5 inch line. I went nuts! I bought about 15 or 20 total to make troops. I Never really thought about GI Joe. The military troop factor, and the helmets (covering faces)helped make this like a cool troop builder thing for me. Awesome!
  14. It depends. A lot of the time, to save space I will flatten, or cut up the box (Front Cover, File Card), and just save them for decoration. Or, like when they had a bunch of 5 packs for sale at ROSS, I will save the boxes. I have 17 empty Cobra Legion Boxes, and 5 early Joe 5 Pack boxes. The only box I haven't cut up was my USS FLAGG. That's one I plan to hang up one day. I did cut up a Cobra Legion box to put my file cards in though (Gave it away since I put all my stuff away).
  15. Thank You VERY MUCH for the warning. I love Kaiju and Ultraman. If I ever see these I'll just walk on by... Even though they look AWESOME! Grrr...
