  4. I finally started collecting again (its hard with no job :/). But I did a 20 mile scour, and found Mongul, Manhunter and Low/Maash.....Kyle seems to be impossible to find!! If anyone wants to lend me a hand that'd be great (Thanks in advance!). Trying to finish up Arkillo too because he looks too awesome of a CnC to pass up!
  5. Hal was never perfect either. He bounced around a lot and was a bit of a loose cannon (punching out generals, disappointing his mother, missing her subsequent death, etc.). You guys seem to forget that before the fearless, ring-slinging hero Green Lantern that we all know and love, Hal Jordan was just a dead beat guy who never really had direction in life. He bounced from job to job before eventually landing at Ferris, his last ditch effort to become a pilot. All I know is that the trailer looks great. Plus, Geoff Johns is the producer and has a creative say in everything that happens. And yes, the same Geoff Johns that wrote all the GL stories that everyone loves.
  6. you guys are so lucky nearest k mart is a good 45 minute drive from me
  7. zatanna probably has no sideways leg motion either right (a la black canary)? can anyone confirm/deny?
  8. Sadly, I have a feeling the Green Lantern costume isn't going to be very different than that EW cover pic that was revealed last month. I know they said it was a work in progress or something like that but I have a feeling they saw the negative backlash and did some quick slapdash damage control. I doubt they would've released pics of a costume that was anything but finished. I also doubt we'll see the white gloves. As I said in a recent thread, the GL uniform NEEDS a splash of white. Green and black do not contrast off each other enough. The white makes it pop! Unfortunately, current design trends rarely consider such subtleties. Nowadays its all about cluttering up a nice costume with armor, seams, snaps, pouches,... and whatever that ugly striation was on the GL pic that made him look like he'd been skinned alive. Geoff Johns has stated that there won't be white gloves on the GL costume at Comic-con. But he did stay that it looks spectacular, and in Geoff Johns I trust.

    Wave 11

I SOOO agree. I spent maybe 2 months hunting for Wave 10....so much wasted time and money on gas, can't even tell you. Finally resorted to the bay...cost 130 for the total set (man bat and robotman cost the most)...which is about 30 dollars more than if I found the entire set at retail discounting gas and time if I actually did find these. Plus the Sinestro set that came out on Matty...so all in all spent about 160 this month. Don't get me wrong, Wave 11 looks AMAZING. I'm actually really pining for the Deadman variant, but I don't really care for the Shark or Steppenwolf in this wave since I was really never a fan of the New Gods. Gotta say the constructs took a while to be accessorized but they look GREAT. Can't wait for what a future Kyle or Guy have.
  16. Haves: Solomon Grundy Almost complete (missing left arm) Loose Wave 10 Forager, paint's slightly off on one eye Needs: Wave 11 Munnies is cool too
  17. thanks sntee! much much appreciated!
  18. Need Man Bat and Robotman....had to get the rest off the bay
  19. Forgive me brothers, for I have sinned...and finally bought some Wave 10 off ebay.....4 figures cost about 75 (shipping included) when they would have cost 64 without cost of gas/time. So 11 dollars I guess isn't too bad, but it's just disheartening to have to resort to eBay. I don't mind the 11 dollars and all but it's really the principle of the matter. Hunting for over 3 months all over my area and into Orange County with no hint of them is just disheartening... I'm still looking for Man-Bat and Robotman though....so all the guys that say they have plenty into their area....help a bro out? Also Hitman....I got a Forager fig, but I only want the C&C piece. If you want I could sell you the Forager for a reasonable price + shipping.
  20. Nope you're not alone. I went on a search to about 5 walmarts yesterday through Orange County and Oceanside in CA...NO dice. I think I'm done trying to look for them at other wal-marts....just too frustrating and time-consuming.
  21. I haven't found any or seen any in my area either....so what's the trick?
  22. I have a: Almost complete Solomon Grundy for trade (missing left arm) Right Arm of Grodd I want: ANY Wave 10 (besides black suit batman)
  23. Ugh hit 4 wal marts in a 15 mile radius that supposedley carries wave 10...nothing but wave 7s and 6s...anybody wanna help me out???? please?
  24. For the loose waist, you could add a TINY bit of super glue to the top of the lower torso when you have it swiveled and then just loosely and slowly swivel it back and forth to allow the super glue to dry....I haven't done this for any waists before, but I have done it to a couple of thigh joints and the part where the legs connect to the lower torso. As for loose arms and legs...what do you mean? For your legs that don't move, are there any impediments in the way? What I mean is that I had a classic Aquaman once whose ankle would not barely move, so I would have to force it. This would cause the ankle to start to tear, so I decided to investigate and boiled it. Turns out (if you know how the ankles work on these figures), that a strand of plastic from one side of the ankle joint wasn't cut off during the manufacturing process all the way. So that when they constructed it and had the joint go through one side of the ankle, through the foot joint, and out the other, the strand of plastic got stuck and I had to excise it after extracting it. Also my fate's ankle is completely loose and I might try a super glue trick on it, but I'm not sure yet. His ankle just suffers from being a little too far from the foot.
  25. Well I just operated on my Despero since its waist was also stuck. I tried to do the thing with a small screwdriver that harry was talking about...but I didn't get rid of the paint stuckage entirely...so i took off the legs, ran a screwdriver through the holes and tried to twist one way with the screwdriver while holding the hand. I ended up seperating the lower torso part in half where it's glued together anyway, but no big deal. I ended up peeling the belt part back since it's a big piece of plastic, and taking off the lower torso entirely, which did the trick and freed the waist. Pics below! You can see where the gold paint from the belt got stuck to the upper torso. In any case, I glued the torso pieces back together and now he can swivel!
