I dont think her answer should have cost her the crown. The principle of those questions is more to determine wether the contestant can answer coherently and clearly to the question. The actual opinion expressed should not be taken into consideration. Think of it like participating to a debate where you are asked to defend the proposition opposed to your actual opinion. It's the the process of formulating coherent arguments that counts. I may not agree with her position on the subject but I dont believe she should have been penalized

I dont think they are regretting ending SG-1 since the show had pretty much run it's course. Even though Vala, Cameron and General Landry were good additions to the cast, the storyline was running out of steam... They couldnt have a whole season without filler episodes like Mitchell's High school reunion ep. One of the thing that annoys me with Atlantis are the many cast changes they've had in the first 4 seasons... Ford becoming a bad guy, Ronon being added, Weir leaving, Carter coming and going in the matter of a season, Becket getting killed off, Woolsey being added to the main cast. At least with SG-1, the cast changes came later on in the series... not at the beginning like Atlantis.

The first of Direct to DVD Stargate SG-1 movie comes out today I've seen the film a few weeks ago and it's not a bad movie but I wish they hadnt felt the need to include in the story... You'd think the Ori would be a big enough threat as it is to devote the entire plot to them... guess not. No cameo by Richard Dean Anderson sucked as well...
