  1. Not sure, but it would make sense to have them swappable otherwise what would be the point of getting two? I would also think it likely since they would only have to produce one kind of launcher instead of two; two unique launchers would make little financial sense when you could just produce one.
  2. Oh jeez you got that Ratchet? I'm curious as to what you think of it.
  3. I hate to say it, but Jinbu (the jet) looks kinda terrible. At least from that angle. It's really his combiner hips, but in this picture it looks like his normal hips are in his chest! Can't un-see! I still think the other two are pretty cool though. http://tformers.com/transformers-go-samurai-triple-combiner/20288/news.html
  4. They are very Brave-esque and I will get the first set more than likely.
  5. Post 'em if you got 'em
  6. OMG they actually released it Yep, seems they have been popping up at TRU's all over.
  7. They dried up in rather short order. Glad you found them.
  8. I have no doubt their designers collaborate but they are not the same group.
  9. Based on what you said above you seem like you are fairly open to the concepts and ideas being used. So I think it would be worth your time to check it out. I'd say the best thing to do would be to buy a deluxe and see if you like it. If you don't then just return it. I could easily recommend deluxe Smokescreen or Ripclaw to test the waters with.
  10. No. They are however affiliated, which has been known. I was told by someone from TFsource at Botcon last year that FP handles the distribution side of things for MT.
  11. Well yeah they are out, I just said I got them in the post above yours! @smilepunch@
  12. I still want Max but can't really justify it with the Botcon trip coming up.
  13. Last week: Both the Warrior and Medic Lucky Rogers Junk Armor sets for Generations/RtS Junkheap/WreckGar. Shining Gra (clear blue version of AM Knock-Out's micron), and AM Thundercracker. Today: Generations Voyager Springer and Blitzwing.
  14. Reports flooded in today.. the Springer and Blitzwing bomb hit this area hard although I have yet to see them myself.
  15. Some Takara goodness: http://tformers.com/transformers-go-predacons-images-from/19988/news.html I am liking the color schemes for the Predacons here. Lazerback may be a good fit with Hasbro's Ripclaw. And Takara's Ripclaw is bought just based on how great that mold is. LOVE Grimwing here. Skystalker looks terrible in any color scheme.
  16. They're using thinner plastic now for sure, but I think calling them knock-off quality is a bit of an overreaction.
  17. Picked up BH Shockwave last week.
  18. There were some people complaining about the feet based on the silhouette teaser from around when they were first announced. It was pretty silly.
  19. First look at the Takara GO! line, and as expected there are some deco changes. http://tformers.com/transformers-first-looks-at-transformers-go/19733/news.html Optimus Prime is frustrating to me, why the Hasbro version has green translucent plastic I don't understand. I may end up returning my Hasbro one and grabbing this one at some point, but I'm not sure. Bulkhead is amusing to me for some reason.
  20. Hasui is the same designer who posted that Magus mock up from MP-10 way back, so clearly it's been on his mind for awhile. Should the MP's continue to do well I have no doubt it will happen.
  21. Most of the time I would agree, but I think this wave is mosly *inferior* to the Hasbro versions. The paint apps are nice sure, but the blue on Takara's Magnus is too light for my tastes; I prefer the darker hue of the Hasbro one. Takara's Kickback is a mess, and Starscream doesn't work for me as well. Sideswipe comes off better, but I really miss the white limb peices from it's Hasbro counterpart. Air Raid is so different that he gets a pass, and I even picked him up this week. YotS Omega Supreme also joined my Omega party. The joints on my Takara Air Raid are much looser than the Hasbro one as well. Hmmmm..
  22. Yeah I'm fine with them too. There's a pretty easy mod for Blackbird that allows you to use his chest for the combined mode chest and it looks really good.
  23. I grabbed all of the Microchanger combiners during TRU's BOGO as well as the Warpath, Inferno, Springer and Slingshot blind bags. A local buddy of mine found, and picked up my wants from BH deluxe wave two: Smokescreen, Bulkhead and Razorclaw. Smokescreen is a bit fiddily, but has a good transformation. Roadbuster Bulkhead is alright, not bad but I'm not liking it as much as I thought I would. Ripclaw though is actually pretty awesome. I decided to get her on a whim after reading some good things from others who already had her. Transformation has enough variety to it to help me get past the "stand up" conversion. Also got in Arms Micron Final Battle Megatron and Jet Vehicon General. Megatron is quite awesome, MUCH nicer in person than I was anticipating. Paint work is very nice and its definitely the best looking version of the the voyager Megatron mold. The Jet General is not quite as nice looking deco wise, but has the benefit of being a great mold so I still think it's a good pick up. Yesterday though... I got in Planet X's Geneis and Xovergen's Masterarmor. Wooooooow. Genesis is nice. He is a dead ringer for WfC Omega Supreme. Top notch detailing and the light gimmick is really cool. Unfortunately the shoulder ratchets cannot hold an arm straight out type pose, but that may have been too much to ask for considering the weight of the arms. It's an AWESOME peice and incredibly imposing. The Masterarmor is a significant improvement over Xovergen's last effot, the Grand Patriot. Plastic quality is not quite up to par with companies like Fans Project or Planet X but does not feel cheap. While I think they did a better job overall, the Masterarmor still suffers from ideas that are not fully developed. Some pegs are just too long so the trademark shoulder cannons of Powermaster Optimus Prime stick out way too much. It's a nice piece, but probably not worth the asking price unfortunately.
