  1. No more giant shampoo bottle toys, thanks!
  2. It's the one I was referring to in the post above yours; it's the same as the SDCC one except the decoy figures are different colors. He listed them all out, so not really sure why you're even asking..
  3. I forgot they were even doing the Thirty for Thirty thing. As soon as they revealed that a good chunk of them were repeats with minor differences (The foreign Metroplex with the different color decoys) I checked out. I only have Soundwave and SDCC Metroplex. I don't really want to comment on the others since I don't have them. The weird thing is, there's still 15 more of these that they haven't even announced yet. Counting Windblade, who is #30, we still have half of them to go. Hopefully the next batch are more interesting. Seems likely that whatever SDCC exclusives there are this year will be included in it.
  4. Saw that wave and bought Skids/Waspinator for a Buddy at Kroger (a grocery store) last week. So all hope is not lost I guess. I got a Whirl from HTS. He's OK.
  5. I'm pretty sure that's meant for Generations and not MP scaled.
  6. My slo-mo package with MP G2 Sideswipe and Takara Rhinox arrived last week. G2 Sideswipe is gnarly.
  7. They already have the name Jetfire, so there's no reason to spend the cash to secure Skyfire. Arcee is likely to hit in the second half of the year so we'll see her and Chromia at Botcon or SDCC unless it leaks early like Jetfire.
  8. There's the ka-razy third party groups that can do one though. *ahem* The third party market is slowly marching itself towards implosion.
  9. Nice to know that hasbro.com leak from months ago was accurate. Downside is nothing really surprising at Toyfare, heh.
  10. POST DEM. I found the latest deluxe wave last week and bought Scoop, Skywarp and Armada Starscream.
  11. I can't express how excited I am by this. By all accounts, the MAFEX Spider-Man and Batman are fantastic figures. Really curious how these turn out.
  12. I have it pre-ordered although I'm not sure I'll get it right at release. I still don't have the ninja trio! Might be a convention pick up this year. The Predacons from Go! were the shining stars. The Thundertron repaint, Go Prime, is very nice as well.
  13. It's from his current design in the comics.
  14. MP Smokescreen and Go! Go Prime (black/green Thundertron repaint)
  15. I heard all kinds of things people claimed Hasbro told them at Botcon.. some said they were told no, some claim they were advised to hold off on the Takara releases. So there's no solid info. I got all three because I believed they were worth the HLJ import price of under $60 after shipping.
  16. There's the ka-razy third party groups that can do one though.
  17. Victory Leo is probable *if* Star Saber sells well, I would say.
  18. I don't think it would make much sense to scale it in relation to one figure when a base scale now exists. A new Grimlock could also very well happen.
  19. Well I guess I'm glad some people seem to like this set. Definitely not for me.
  20. Today.. Encore Fortress Maximus from TFSource's Black Friday sale! Also in those boxes were the finale two members of TFC Uranos/Superion Harrier and Falcon(I can never remember which Aerial Bot is which aside from Silverbolt) as well as the Wings of Uranos set. Finally, I cashed in some source points and got a free Arms Micron Ultra Magnus. He has better joint tolerances than Hasbro's PRiD Magnus and is not a floppy mess! Yay!
  21. Today I found and bought Generations Skids and Goldfire. Recently I also acquired Masterpiece Bluestreak and Prowl.
  22. They're around, you just have to know where to go. A friend of mine went over there last month as well for his honey moon. He found some shops in the Akihabara area with TF stuff, but as you say it is mostly dominated by other brands.
  23. One of the ebay auctions has a picture of the receipt for some reason which has the price at $550.
  24. Nothing Transformers can really be described as "insanely popular in Japan," sadly.
