  1. From our community forums, chuckdawg1999 has shared a video review for the large, Ultra Class Shockwave from the Cyberverse line. Shockwave is said to stand out from the pack in Cyberverse by the articulation and action feature Chuck finds to add to the figure rather than take away. Click through to watch now! 2. The just-announced Transformers Historia, Chris McFeely's history of the IDW Transformers comic universe, now has a cover! Mistakenly credited to Kei Zama in the PREVIEWSworld listing, Sara Pitre-Durocher has posted her cover to the book - and it's a great one. View the full article
  3. Retailer Toypanic has posted an interesting pair of really long-term preorders this morning: September 2019 will bring us a The Real Ghostbusters-themed reissue of MP-10 Optimus Prime (...what? Just: what!?) along with an Encore set of Cassettes featuring Frenzy along with the last two unreissued combiner tapes: Graphy and Noise, who form Decibel! Both are listed as "Exhibition Limited," so odds are good these are meant to be some kind of Japanese convention next year. Keep reading for more! View the full article
  4. TFWiki contributor, TF Radio Network alum, and creator of the popular YouTube series Transformers: The Basics Chris McFeely has announced this morning that he will be the writer for Transformers Historia, an official IDW publication coming in December to examine and commemorate the 13 years of IDW's Transformers comics universe. 5. The latest non-toy offering in the "evergreen" product style is evidently a wristwatch. Found at Walmart in Fort Wayne, Indiana by Rookbartley, we have a few photos of the watch and the box it comes in. We don't know for sure if this is sized adequately for an adult, but while the box leans very hard in its declaration as a Transformers-branded item, the watch itself appears comparatively more subdued, with the Autobot emblem on the face the only immediate giveaway, which could make this an appealing choice for many people. And the numbers light up when you press a button! Brilliant! Click through to take a look. View the full article
  6. Thanks to ColdIron we have a few in hand photos of Jada's new G1 Optimus Prime cab replica, and making for an interesting show, there are shots that compare elements directly to a regular G1 Optimus Prime toy. The sizes of both cabs are actually very similar! While it reportedly doesn't connect to the trailer hitch, it is possible to convincingly fake the original toy's trailer being attached to the Jada truck, too, offering the chance for a really nice combined display. 7. Amiami Hobby News has released a new article about the upcoming Siege toyline. While the body of the post is basically just advertising copy talking about things like the Scuffs Of War deco, attached to the post is a new piece of promotional art for the line. Showing the Ark in flight with Cybertron in the background, and surrounded by images of characters whose toys have all been revealed so far. It's not unlike a movie poster, and while the coloring style is, like the paintwork on the toys themselves, a little far to the "gritty" side for my own tastes, it's a pretty nice looking piece regardless. Check it out below! View the full article
  8. Canadian Walmarts held the distinction of bringing the new lineup of G1 reissues to physical store shelves first for several weeks already, but it seems that's getting ready to change. Separate reports now indicate that locations in the United States are receiving stock of the reissues, with locations in Washington State and Arizona both finding shipping cases on incoming pallets of toys. Of note, the cartons are labelled for "week 36" which for Walmart apparently corresponds to the first week of October. It sounds like a coordinated launch of the product in the US might be in the planning, in which case we have only a couple of weeks to wait and see! Keep reading for more info. View the full article
  9. Following the release of Special Edition Punch/Counterpunch, the third and final installment of the Prime Wars Trilogy tribute releases, the idea started going around that part of the toy's shoulders were assembled a bit wrong. The reported condition finds the ball joint stems installed upside down, making transformation to vehicle mode more difficult, with some even predicting in the long term that the toy may be damaged as a result. Whether this is indeed a misassembly might be debated, but either way it's relatively easy to fix if you're so inclined. A Twitter user, appropriately enough known as "Counterpunch", recorded a short video demonstrating the process. Keep reading for the video and more information! View the full article
  10. Retailer Argos will once again be serving as the United Kingdom's hookup for the figures which are Target exclusives in the USA. In this case, the new Bumblebee: The Movie remold of Titans Return Leader class Soundwave, and the three-pack of "cassettes" packed with a 1-Step Changer Bumblebee! Keep reading for official photos, and click through to the Argos page for Soundwave for a turnaround video displaying a 360 shot of all three modes! View the full article
  11. The Official Hasbro YouTube has just posted "Allspark," the third 10-minute episode of Transformers Cyberverse! From the episode description: "In Episode 3 of 'Transformers Cyberverse,' while searching his memories to understand the Allspark, Bumblebee makes a more important discovery -- the memory of his friend, Optimus Prime!"
