  1. How many symbiotes does this make? Would've been nice if Marvel just stayed with keeping Venom as true psycho villain, and we wouldn't have to deal with all these other "venom apologies" like Carnage, Toxin and all of those day-glo symbiotes. Way to water down a concept. "House of ideas "indeed.
  2. I would say probably "no" to that. I think both movies want to primarily focus on their main character's personal story arcs before cross-overs happen. At the most, Stark is supposed to have a cameo in the Hulk movie but not as Iron Man. The Hulk video game features a showdown with Iron man in his Hulk-buster armor, I believe. But who knows right? Guess we'll have to wait and see whats in and whats not starting thursday!
  3. This movie would have to be jaw-droppingly(new word?)-good in order for me to even consider dropping a buck on those.......
  4. No kidding. To quote Whistler from Blade 2, Abom looks like "Hammered $#!t"
  5. Or even a gold Mark II....since it seems Jarvis was going to make one anyway before Stark requests adding "a little hot-rod-red". See? those would make sense in terms re-using the mold and keeping it in the movie-verse.
  6. But is Extremis in the movie? Why should they be beholden to make a comic-accurate figure in a line that isn't about the comics? No kidding, Can't wait to see Jungle armor or Ninja armor Iron Man! @grumpy@ Maybe it's a specialized form of Space Armor? I get the cries of 'no comic accuracy!' here... but this is the movie line. It's not comic-accurate. And frankly, it'd be no different than some of the nonsensical armors that Toy Biz put out for the cartoon line. He had a Samurai Armor, for Pete's sake! In the canceled fifth wave, there was a Lava Armor- mind you, there was already an Inferno Armor in the line... as if there's a difference? Sometimes it's just about what looks cool- especially in the the lines that aren't completely comic-based. Iron Man is Marvel's Batman, in that he can be put in a million ridiculous suits, and technically, it makes sense. What makes the whole thing ironic is that while some here complain about the toy-only armors and want only comic-based stuff, some of the creators complain about the variety of armors in the comics. For years, Bob Layton has vocally stated his disdain for Hulkbuster armor, not seeming to realize (or care) that it is one of the most popular armor variations. ...and the fact that it served a good purpose...! I understand the need to create "snazzy" looking armors, but if it's garish, it's garish. How many neon orange and green batman figs were peg-warmers at kaybee for years? Mind you, I don't think satellite Armor is as garish as those, but it is like looking at a stormtrooper-space station-man. . I guess it would be fun to create these variations if i worked for the 'Bro, but the geek in me would want to hold restraint on doing "Submarine-deep-artic-jungle-exploration armor with spring-loaded elephant net-trap"
  7. Yeah, stealth was my 2nd most wanted figure after War Machine, but it's not the paint scheme i'd prefer...
  8. Jeebus! That's quite the collection. Again, my only gripe is with that damn Satelite armor figure. The Cap fig is ok, cuz' it's based off of something from the books. I personally could care less about it, but at least it makes more sense to do....
  9. I finally had to breakdown and shovel a lil extra for one this weekend at a collectible store near my house. 3 Walmarts in my area are lagging the Iron Man merchandise bad! Target, on the other hand has had the less-than desirable exclusive around for a few weeks now. I already hate Walmart, but this fueled it beyond simple annoyance. But I'd still like another to keep in package. It really is a great peripheral piece to the line.
  10. Mine makes for a nice pencil holder at work!
  11. Really...what does a Satellite Armor Iron Man do to his opponents??? transmit Lifetime, We, and Oxygen channels all at once?
  12. Imagine how hard THAT one will be to get! The fact that we all know we'd prefer having that one, and after the movie comes out, the desire for it will be increased. I'm glad I have 1 Iron Monger (despite it's red eyes) at least. i'll be shocked if I find anymore...
  13. Orrrr...(depending how cheap hasbro is) they can just paint Iron Monger red and gold and call THAT Hulkbuster. And Hydro Armor will be painted seafoam green and blue and have attachable flippers. (I should work for hasbro!) Scary thought....I can actually see them doing that!
  14. 2nd that. The first movie-based figs are excellent. I even like the homage War-machine and Silver Centaurion exclusives. I was counting on a stealth blue figure, but I'm actuallya bit let down by the final result. First, it's even more armed than War machine itself (which if i remember correctly, Stealth armor is very light and lo-defense). And while it looks attractive, I would have prefered an either all-blue or all black figure). I know, I'm being nit-picky, and I know it's really supposed to be the stealth armor from the books, But they did such a good job on the first set..... ...and don't get me started on Satellite Iron Man. WTF is that supposed to do? "I'mma orbit the earth and beam cable into your homes!" LOL Hate the color scheme. More Red n' gold variants please.... ....ah who am i kidding? That Stealth is pretty bad-@$$...
