  1. Man I hate people like that. I thought being liberal included being tolerant of different opinions. For some people that is not the case.

liberals are only tolerent of colored people, lesbians ETC if your white and you say something they view wrong they converge on you like a lkynch mob and begin harassing you

they also seem to have a problem with this guy...

    Jesus14.jpg

    ...and everything stemming from him.

why would they have a problem with him? I love Ted Nugent!

  2. The spike/uniform, the Zombieland loveletter, and the GB video game...couldnt a side be taken to think he must have some fondness for the subject matter, maybe even fans, and thats why he has passed on GB3 drafts not up to snuff?

Pretty much how I feel on it. If he didn't like the GB stuff, he wouldn't have done it, that much is clear, if Murray doesn't want to do it, he won't. I too feel like it's probably more out of respect for the franchise that he doesn't do a third movie. He if he didn't give a damn about the franchise, he would just do a crappy third movie, cash his check, and move on.

  3. sounds good but then again the current MK line sounded good and look how that turned out

that's only because they hired a mediocre sculptor/sculptors and have poor articulation/figure design. if they would have paid to hire one or two really good sculptors and a better figure design, the MK line would have sold like candy at a fat kid convention. not to mention the retail price for the current MK line is $17+ each. WAAAAYYY over priced for low quality action figures. when are they going to learn...you got to spend money to make money. we aren't mindless consumers, (at least not all of us) we want quality!

Yeah they need to rethink how the MK figures are being handled. I want more video game based action figures, but I don't want them to suck. Plus the price is too high for what you get. I forgot they were so much, I just look them over and say "no" before I even look at the price tag.

  4. alleged University of Arizona lecturer...makes me feel real good about higher education

he really wanted them college kids to get involved

Yeah I live in a college town, with WAYYYY too many hipster, college kids, I hate dudes like this. He must not feel he has a purpose in life, he keeps saying how he felt like he had a purpose (to berate a girl at the drive thru)

    That dude made it political

He tried to make it political, which seems to happen when people get all uppity about these sort of issues. I don't really care about what the owner of Chick-fil-a had to say about his own personal beliefs on the issue of gay marriage, just like I don't want to really talk about my personal views on it. I'm more interested in the reaction his words got. People up in arms about it, so surprised by it. That guy on the video said something about his sandwich "always tasting better being served with hate" when really I get nothing but smiles when I go there. Really? Hate? Just because he doesn't agree with you?

I've seen FAR more support for Chick-fil-a then against it. For me, it has nothing to do with politics, it's just a chicken sandwich. The BEST damn chicken sandwich you can buy at a fast food place too. People getting upset that a company, who are closed on Sundays mind you, that this company has strong christian values. If you are upset by this, then you haven't been paying attention and are more likely playing "follow the leader" then believing your own beliefs.

That guy is just stroking his own ego, trying to feel validated for his inflated sense of entitlement.

I have never eaten there even thought we have one right down the street

WJ, you are depriving yourself of juicy, fresh chicken served by kids who actually seem to enjoy their jobs. Go down the street and get yourself a number one combo.

P.S. try the spicy chipotle dressing they serve with their spicy wrap with your waffle fries and you will be hooked.

I have been on a diet for nearly three years and have lost 80lbs so I don't have fast food anymore except for salads from Micky D's or wherever

In that case, I would recommend their grilled chicken. Fresh chicken always tastes better. Great job on the diet. But if you want to step out, ask for the classic chik-fil-a sandwich with no butter and it is less than 400 calories.

Congrats on the weight loss, I know it's not easy. I would for sure try the grilled chicken, pretty sure they have salads too. It's just the quality of the chicken is so much higher then anything else you can get at a drivethru window.

BTW Dragon, it's all about the Polynesian sauce!

  5. That is cool to hear. I would LOVE some Mortal Kombat figures, but what I've see on the shelves doesn't really look all that great. They seem kind of... dated? Like they are something I would see back in the late 90's. They just don't look like fun figures right now.

  6. That dude made it political

  7. Yeah I know it's been all over foxnews, I just never really read any of it till yesterday. I was kinda surprised nobody here was talking about it. I like foxnews.com, they usually have the way out there stories I want to read about.

BTW, for the record, I didn't make this post to be politically motivated, if anything I don't see what politics even have to do with the issues. A private corporation's owner stated he has Christian values and doesn't support gay marriage. No politics here, just a group of people getting all upset over a company that doesn't share the same opinions of that group. How childish.

Shame on that dude for picking on a helpless employee. He knows she can't really fight back, or give her opinion, she is on the clock, and during the stores biggest day to boot.

I love when the guy says that he doesn't like hate. It's funny because all I heard spewing from his mouth was hate. The pseudo-intellectual arrogance of his argument is nullified by his own words. He is a hate hater, pure and simple. Moron.

  8. Hello everybody,

I just wanted to chime in to say I can openly answer any question about this :)

Just to add a couple information: I haven't been banned from the forum, I've been removed from everything else. I was running the site with Val and I was a 50% partner.

Illumina right fortunately have nothing to do with this mess, at least that should be safe and not a topic for arguments :)

The Italian forum is going be removed from He-Man.org on Val's request, I'll be only help with the move, AlessandraF will be running it on the old domain, He-Man.it

I was never paid to run the Italian forum, however I shared 50% of profits and costs of the entire site. Of course that is not the case anymore.

If you have other questions, I'll be happy to answer :)

    Take care everyboydy,

    Emiliano

Just wanna say that I'm sorry to hear of yall's falling out, while the org is a great site and is run pretty smoothly, it's just to strict over there. I'm all about free speech, and people should be allowed to say whatever they want to say. Obviously there are certain restrictions to this freedom, but I mean you can't even use the word scalper over there, because I guess it "angrys up the blood!" Anyway, Im sure there are two sides to this, and the truth is always somewhere in the middle. I just think the .org is a little over restrictive, and that is all based on my personal experiences.

  9. wow.. what a loser! that guy is so pathetic having to get his little power trip by talking crap to a girl who was doing a fantastic job.

and he was soooooo lying about being hetero lol

Seriously, you know if it was some big, tough looking dude up there when he pulled up, he wouldn't have said a word about it. It's funny when "tough guys" like him come face to face with a real man, they cower down so quickly, it's pathetic!

Oh BTW I'm not gay... for some reason I feel the need to say that.

  10. Anyone else see this guy? What a massive jerk! I can just feel the smug, sense of self importance and entitlement OOZING off this guy! What a d*ckhole! Seriously, did he think he was going to change the world?

    http://youtu.be/Jg-jzlWcc0E

Here is his "apology" video too

    http://youtu.be/9eAv-vEXJgk

Even his so called apology comes off as fake! Glad he got fired too. Hope it was worth it buddy! I love how if you aren't completely, 100% for everything being gay, then you are automatically against it. Just too funny!

I remember a few years ago I was at a party here in my college town, didn't know anyone really except the person I went with. Anyhow, it was being thrown by the guy who was also gay. We were sitting out on his back patio, all of us drinking, have a good time, and they started to bash on republicans HARD. So I spoke up that I was not only a republican, but a mormon too (this was before the days of Mitt Romney) and the gay guy just went off on me. How I was hateful and a biggot! Lol, really? Me? RockthePlank? I didn't say anything negative or that I was against him or the gay community, I was actually having a good time at the party and it didn't matter to me if he was gay or not. All I said was that I was a republican and a mormon, if anything I said it to show him that "hey, not all of us are how you think we are." The most hateful things I usually hear about the whole gay marriage issues usually come from the "pro" side, automatically assuming that if you aren't out there waiving a rainbow flag in support, then you must be a hateful person.

  11. He was obviously a "I'm taking my ball and going home!" kid. Or maybe I should say a "we play He-Man my way or you can go home!" kind of adult. @smilepunch@

Ha! That pretty much sums it up! I hated those kids, I remember a kid telling me he would get in trouble if I didn't let him beat me at a video game and I would have to go home. Last time I stayed at that kids house too. I don't like being censored, no one does, and it's one of those "if you don't have anything nice to say" kinda places and honestly, that is not how to real world works. I knew they were too uptight when I got a PM saying not the use the term "scalper"

  12. funny you should mention MIB III...as nobody in here has mentioned that the GB3 script is currently in the hands of Etan Cohen, who wrote MIB III

MIB III?! "Fans" piss on Bill Murray and put all their Ghostbuster hopes and dreams on the guy who wrote MIB III?! MIB III passed like a fart in the wind...dollar show fare withing 3 weeks...hell, the toys arrived on clearance at my local ToysRUs!

Yeah, I figured it must have sucked, because I didn't hear anything at all about it. Can't wait to check it out on Redbox...

  13. I got um,. finally some.Watchmen figs with dcu articulation. They had Dr. Manhattan, And Rorshach at Comic con, they look great. At The pannel they said so far just The six.

yeah and Im really fine with just the six too. Maybe you can make some of the older team, but really Id be fine w/ just the six.

  14. Now lets not go crazy, there were some TERRIBLE 80's movies, movies that should be burned and pi$ed on and then digested by Satan's hell hound. Movies that make me want to rip out my eyes, throw them on the ground, and stomped on till they take me away to the looney bin. Ghostbusters was a great franchise, it really was, but like they say, all good thing must come to an end, and the end of GB on the big screen has already come. Let it stay buried, GB is Murray, Akyroyd, Ramis, and Hudson (sounds like a law firm... (man I love the cartoon)) That is it, period, they are the ghostbusters. Put anyone else in their shoes, and you will see how forced it feels.

Yeah Murray has been the hold out for years and it's his fault it's too late, but again, I'm willing to bet that he hasnt seen a script he has liked either, and again, can we really fault him for not wanting to back a movie that he thinks will suck? He learned his lesson from Garfield, he is more and more picky, which I would be too. He is picky because he can be picky, and cares about his craft, and I just can't fault the man for it.

In a perfect world, GB 3 would have hit a few years after 2 did, and that movie rocked our faces off! We saw GB 3 and demanded more, so they gave us more, and those rocked even harder! In a perfect world, we would have had 10 films by now, numerous cartoons, and the national drink has been changed to Ecto Cooler. In a perfect world, I am still 10 years old, I spend all day eating frootloops in my underwear watching Ghostbuster, Ninja Turtles, and Thundercats.

We can wish and want all we want people, but the window for a good Ghostbusters has closed. Now enjoy MiB3 that nobody wants....
