Yeah I live in a college town, with WAYYYY too many hipster, college kids, I hate dudes like this. He must not feel he has a purpose in life, he keeps saying how he felt like he had a purpose (to berate a girl at the drive thru)
He tried to make it political, which seems to happen when people get all uppity about these sort of issues. I don't really care about what the owner of Chick-fil-a had to say about his own personal beliefs on the issue of gay marriage, just like I don't want to really talk about my personal views on it. I'm more interested in the reaction his words got. People up in arms about it, so surprised by it. That guy on the video said something about his sandwich "always tasting better being served with hate" when really I get nothing but smiles when I go there. Really? Hate? Just because he doesn't agree with you?
I've seen FAR more support for Chick-fil-a then against it. For me, it has nothing to do with politics, it's just a chicken sandwich. The BEST damn chicken sandwich you can buy at a fast food place too. People getting upset that a company, who are closed on Sundays mind you, that this company has strong christian values. If you are upset by this, then you haven't been paying attention and are more likely playing "follow the leader" then believing your own beliefs.
That guy is just stroking his own ego, trying to feel validated for his inflated sense of entitlement.
I have never eaten there even thought we have one right down the street
WJ, you are depriving yourself of juicy, fresh chicken served by kids who actually seem to enjoy their jobs. Go down the street and get yourself a number one combo.
P.S. try the spicy chipotle dressing they serve with their spicy wrap with your waffle fries and you will be hooked.
I have been on a diet for nearly three years and have lost 80lbs so I don't have fast food anymore except for salads from Micky D's or wherever
In that case, I would recommend their grilled chicken. Fresh chicken always tastes better. Great job on the diet. But if you want to step out, ask for the classic chik-fil-a sandwich with no butter and it is less than 400 calories.
Congrats on the weight loss, I know it's not easy. I would for sure try the grilled chicken, pretty sure they have salads too. It's just the quality of the chicken is so much higher then anything else you can get at a drivethru window.
BTW Dragon, it's all about the Polynesian sauce!
