Ran through the first 20 levels of the training mode, very nice. Im NEVER a training mode kind of guy, but its actually been fun and I did learn a few things and it lets me play as characters that normally I wouldn't have messed with, so that has been nice. Plus you can still accumulate points to be spent buying more fatalities and what not (I finally looked up what is what in the krypt, I can't stand getting more concept art) Im having a lot of fun with this game, unfortunately the playstation network is still down and I can't connect to play online. Hey toysniper, great few matches we had the other day. I was letting my wife play you a few times, shes not bad but I am guilty of letting her win a few times. Got some more minimates! This time it is a Punisher, a Leader, Zombie Ironman, Battle Scarred Thing, and Bruce Banner. I know its kind of a mixed bag, but I am happy with all of them! Also just won a Zombie Colonel America, just need a few more zombitches to have them all!

Picked up Mortal Kombat last night, pretty good game. It feels more traditional, and all the moves are fluid. The Xray vision bone breaking is pretty cool too. I noticed that in my game case there was an activation code to be able to play online. I thought it was a little odd that you needed a code, and I think if you dont have that code you have to pay some fee or something. A little strange.

Anyone else going to get Mortal Kombat? How about going to the midnight launch? I dont normally buy into that stuff, but if I dont get it then, Ill have to wait till Thursday and that is not going to happen!

I agree. Take a look at NECA. When a game comes out they have the license for, you can get the figure for it either on or before the game comes out. Yeah it really looses a lot of steam for my anticipation for the figures. I can't wait to get the game, and if they were available, say tonight at the midnight launch, I would probably buy atleast a sub zero, but since it won't be out, who know if I will care about it once they come out.

The first one was much better than Bogus Journey Do you have it on dvd? I've got both and Bogus Journey is SOOOO annoying! The main menu plays the scene where the are screaming falling down into hell. It's just "AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH.... this is a deep hole" and it plays over and over and over all night because you are too lazy and tired to turn off the tv.

I know Pooda got himself a tick, I assume he just ordered it from shocker and got it at some point, so I was holding out hope, but I feel like I may never get a tick figure. No "Spoon!" for rocktheplank....

Megaman isn't in the new MVC3 is he? Id love a minimate of him No... Hopefully he is a DLC character and we can get him... Zero is though... Him as a DLC makes sense, hes too much of a fan favorite to be left out. I really wish I could rent this game somewhere but all the blockbusters here closed down

Besides, someone people don't have the time or ability to go to auction or put things up for auction, it's just easier sometimes to say just take it! Well if they did it would be cool but the always want to quote what its going for online Hell if they don't like the price then put it online It might take a year or so to sell something people tend to forget is that something is only worth what someone will pay for it

Ive been playing this at my brothers, its alright, a fun game to play with a group, and I am a sucker for the create a wrestlers, but I can't sit and play 10 in a row. Fun game though, its more of a rental game though.

This movie looks really epic, I can't wait to see it! I was never a huge Thor fan to begin with, but that looks really awesome!

I haven't seen it yet but I am going to try and catch it tonight. The slow-mo moves get overused alot since the Matrix came out, hopefully it shouldn't be too bad.

I think that box set is on sale over at Lukes toy store, Ill have to order it at the end of the week when I get paid. Are you talking DC Minimates? They are cool, but I feel like I really missed the boat on those. I can't wait for the Real Ghostbusters sets to come out. I missed the boat as well... They were pricey since I had to go back and track them down mostly on Ebay... Yeah that is enough to steer me away from it. I like DC, I've got love for it, but I'm really a Marvel guy at heart. For me, DC was always like WCW and Marvel was WWF, I just liked it better. So them not being made or easily accessible makes me turn my head to em'. Even though there are a few I wouldn't mind grabbing, like a Green Lantern, a Batman, Superman, I guess pretty much anyone from the JLA circa 2000. Lately I've been eyeing the Back to the Future line, I love the Deloreon that is included, looks so awesome! I really do wish there was some subscription service available...

Wasn't one of those guys just arrested? I really enjoy the show, haven't seen any of the Star Wars stuff yet.

This will be a visually fun movie, not sure about the acting since I don't care for Ryan... oh well, we will see if it does as well as WB is banking on.

Thanks for the input guys. We played MVC2 a few times on the 360, and we also played a lot of DC vs MK and she really enjoyed that. But last night we were at her moms and a commercial came on for the new MK and I said something about getting MVC3 instead of that and she said something like "oh, ok" like she was disappointed. So I guess that answers my question, looks like it will be MK and maybe I'll get MVC3 for my birthday come May. Anyone see the trailers and fatalities videos for it yet? I'd post a youtube link, but my work has it blocked. We watched it last night and it looks so awesome! Seems like they are really big on breaking the body up into chunks in one way or another. Love to play some games and get drunk and/or stoned, I can't wait for it!
