  1. I'm embarrassed to say I haven't seen any of the other movies, but I am going to be putting in my Netflix cue when I get home from work (I can only remember to do stuff like that when I am at work for some reason and it's block as "unproductive") But I googles it up and yes, please, give me a Robocain too, that would make a SWEET figure!
  2. I guess you're just a positive kind of guy! I really want that Tick figure and I've been eyeing the Barry "Tick" figure they have for a long time too. I'll probably break down and order one at the end of the month, so hopefully I'll get it by Christmas
  3. I can't wait to hear one of your guys say you finally beat the challenge tower! As for me, I got to work a little bit on it last night, Im at about 155 or so, so slowly but surely I'll get there. I'm expecting SpiderMan SD today or possibly tomorrow, since it's my wife's birthday tomorrow, I doubt I will have a chance to play it for a few days, no big deal, weekends are when I can really tear into games.
  4. Man, all of those guys sound like arrogant jerks. Love the smell of their own farts too much...
  5. Thanks man! Yeah rewatching it, it's super violent and it's got that 80's "what if corporate greed took over" kind of feel to it, but it was still enjoyable. The only part that probably hasn't stood up so well what the walker robot, T what ever it was, that kind of felt dated, not the look or feel of it, which still felt modern, but the special effects very really choppy. Other then that small complaint, I loved it! (Oh and seeing Red Foreman kick ass was awesome too!) Yep I think the ED-209 was clay animation on some parts, but that thing gave me the creeps, especially how it guns down the first guy. I loved it! I wonder how many parents turned the tape off after that scene thinking they rented a fun kids movie, it really sets the tone for the movie. That and I think the animal noises it made could have been sythsezised into the mechanical noises a little better.
  6. Ok I think I am at the 130's or so, it's been a lot of fun too. Some have been frustrating, others have been super easy, a good mix for the most part. Can't wait to take on all three of the four-armed freaks! I never have too much trouble with them, and I love a challenge! Also signed up for a two week trial of blockbuster on demand and Ive got spiderman en route. The service is a little pricey, espeically when it says you cant rent new titles till like 9 months after they are released.
  7. Yeah I am not thrilled on hulu plus, one down fall is the streaming quality can suck at times, like every few seconds its buffering... like it's 1998 or something. Plus when I started seeing those commercials too it really put me off, but my wife doesnt want to lay and bed and watch tv on the laptop, so watching on the computer isnt really an option. She likes that she can just chose it on the playstation and go from there. I love Netflix, I got the two tv setup in the bedroom so she can either watch netflix or play wii while I am playing ps3. When all this crap started, hulu sent me an email saying they would credit me one week for sticking with them through the outage, but its pretty pointless at this point, so I am just going to cancel if it isn't back when my sub needs to be renewed around the 20th or so

  9. you could always watch it on your computer for the time being... I wont expect PSN to be up until the end of the month. Screw that noise! I'll cancel my subscription for now...
  10. Does anyone know who hold the licenses to this? Are there any good figures out? With a lot of 80's movies getting new figures and updates, I was wondering if there was one for Robocop. I just watched the movie for the first time in a LONG time and now I know I need a Murphy! If anyone with info about past or present figure info could share, I would appreciate it!
  11. Cloud you have always seemed to stick by Shocker, and those figures look sweet, so rightfully so. Ive been thinking about what I want for my birthday, I think The Tick just made the list! Post some pics when you open the rest of em!
  12. Soooo... this crap is STILL down? It wouldnt be such a big deal, but I am paying for hulu plus just to watch it on ps3... so kinda crappy
  13. Good point, though I really enjoyed Lost. It really was the only show on at the time where I couldn't wait for the DVR to record, I had to see it live. Yeah for every answer we got, we got atleast two more questions, but it was all a part of the fun. Feeding us more questions then answers really sparked something with the audience other series hadn't done in this magnitude. I still contend that LOST is the modern king of cliffhangers.
  14. Id love to see more if your work, got a link?
  15. You did that? That is awesome work! Ive got that figure but never wondered what it would look like green... very nice!
  16. Inspired by yojoebro's thread about favorite cliffhangers: What is your all time favorite series finale? Which one did you think "man that didn't do the series justice"? Ever since we said good bye to our cable company a few months back, my wife and I have been satisfied getting our TV fix through Netflix, DVD's, and HuluPlus (which is still down thanks to PSN being down) Anyhow, watching these shows now and watching their finale's, its got me thinking about endings in general. I watched the 3rd Rock from the Sun final episode (I just lost all my credibility) and it actually made me tear up a little (I take it back, NOW I've lost my credibility). Not because of the show ending or anything like that, but it was a different time for me when I watched this. I was back in middle school, and my thoughts were about doing my homework or what high school will be like. It made me feel nostalgic for those easier times. I mean LOST is a show with a powerful ending that comes to mind (good or bad) and you can't talk about this subject without mentioning MASH (Im not even a big fan of the show but the ending was powerful) What man didn't have "something in his eye" when Kevin's voiceover on the Wonder Years said his dad died of a heart attack in 1975? Who wasn't talking about Seinfeld the day afterwards? So what about you guys? What shows made your eyes water up, sit back and think, or just make you scratch you head?
  17. blockbuster on demand lets you order games? like game fly?
  18. True, but the police would be better off hounding her for traffic violations. Something like this just gives her more ammo to use and abuse, especially now that this is National news. Yeah, but she ruined her own credibility. Maybe if she hadn't been such a pain, and hadn't acted like a brat about the kid shooting hoops, but if you read the article, it's kind of clear what kind of person she is from her previous actions. Just reading the headline, I already thought "How could they do that?" but once the whole story becomes clear, it's hard to feel bad for her.
  19. must... have... online... Mortal Kombat...

  20. I'm down for some Super Mario Resident Evil figures!
  21. That's why Akroyd is such a team player! I mean Harold looked the most dramatically different, but it's whatever, it's not supposed to be them beat for beat. Murray's "professionalism" gets annoying sometimes...
  22. LOST was so great. It feels like as trendy as it was to like the show, it's now just as trendy to hate it. It was a fun ride, I didn't live and die by the show. LOST was king of cliffhangers, every step forward was two steps back and we all kept begging for more!
  23. The woman is an idiot. Obviously these charges won't stick, shes just one of those people that need to go against the grain, like it's part of their identity. I mean the woman complained because they gave used, old basketball hoops to churches! Really? She deserves the trouble she is getting, not that what she did was all that wrong, but shes had this coming.
