  1. Hey guys, I know Ive got some cred here, so hopefully I don't come off as a spammer, but check out www.6dollarshirts.com and there is a really cool "Support the Troops" Star Wars shirt. Personally I love getting shirts online, its usually a lot better then what I can find in the store. You can't really beat $6 with free shipping

Just a heads up! I already ordered mine, they only sell it one day with free shipping, so if you want it on the cheap, now is the time!

PS - I have nothing to do with that site, just a fan of cool shirts!

  2. I ordered my ThunderCats minimates last night shortly after midnight, kinda surprised they were up. Didn't see any walking dead minimates, they must have ran out at the show :( No big deal, atleast I got my Thundercats!

  3. Hey guys, sorry, I live in Gainesville Florida, when I was paying at the check out the woman told me they had just put them out that morning and a ton of people had bought them. I asked if they had more in the back but she said they put out the entire stock. There were lots of pegs, alot most all empty, they had a shredder and a kraang. I took advantage of the sale at tru.com and I got a Shredder, Kraang, Don, Michaelagelo, Raph, Spinter, Footsolider, and the Party Wagon for $80 between the 20% off orders over $75 and the free shipping. Go now and get this deal, comes out to be $10 a peice including the van! I didnt get another Leo since I snagged it yessterday. She also said that they were the first in town to get them and people told her target and walmart didnt have them.

Edit: Yeah I know it should be Gville, but I say Gtown just to spice it up

  4. Yeah I loved He-Man as a kid, as an adult, I can't stomach it... which is kind of weird since I remember my dad coming home from work on his lunch breaks and watching He-Man with me... maybe he just did it to spend time with me now that I think about it. And here I thought for years he liked He-Man! Point being that no adult can watch more then one episode without getting bored.

If you are interested in He-Man, I would recommend the 200X DVD box set, I think I got mine for like $10 and its the complete series. Its a good deal and has more of that edge you are looking for.

  5. OH YEAH! We are getting the rest of the crew, AND some core villians! I've got a renew interest in minimates now! I haven't been this excited about minimates since the RGB! Can't wait for Thundercats minimates! Can't wait for Walking Dead minimates!

  6. pick me up a mint copy of Ace of Base, "The Sign" next time thru...

Pretty sure you can still find these in the $5 bins at Walmart, no time travel required, you just need to go where CD's die.

I sold off all my DCU stuff maybe two years ago and I haven't missed the headaches one bit. My collection does feel a little empty with no Batman or Green Lantern, but I can deal with it. Don't care for the new 52 crap, feels too much like the "extreme" stuff from the 90's.

  7. I only got one or two figures from the LOTR trilogy, mostly because I was just in high school with no cash, but I always thought they looked cool. Since my wife seems to really be into fantasy stuff lately, I've been thinking about collecting these when the movie comes out. Still in the air if I'll get the invisible Bilbo, but they are looking good.

  8. Man I wish this had done better, atleast the Classics line. As it is, I don't think my Thundercats crew will ever be finished, no matter the scale (unless its 3 3/4) Nope, no 8" Classics, no 6" Classics, and no 6" Modern. Just sad. The only upswing is it looks like we are getting Thundercats minimates soon. I'll put them right next to my Real Ghostbusters minimates and dream what could have been.

The stores near me still have the 6 inch classics and TRU has the 8 inch classics Tygra

I can still see those in my area too, Im just lamenting that they will probably never flesh out the entire roster. I figured none of the lines would make it to the core villains, but we didn't even get the core team. Just kind of a let down.

  9. The Predator and Bilbo look the most interesting to me.

Yeah, one thing I noticed about the Predator though is it looks like it has the older crotch joint versus the newer ball joints on the figures going forward. I will still get it, since it is classic predator in camo, but those old crotch joints are terrible.
