  1. I've been hunting since December, and nadda yet. Hopefully they'll come out soon. @can@
  2. Possibly. I voted yes, because if I could afford that I'd get it. However, that is a tad high for the size. I'd prefer slightly less. Honestly, I'd prefer a Flagg or Defiant. @can@
  3. Yes, and YES! And another HELL YES! Check out my sig for any further questions. @lol@ Speaking of which, I guess I can cross Hit & Run off of my sig, even though I'm not really that satisfied with the way they did him. He's probably the biggest let down of the 2 sets for me. Depending on how they do his gear, it could make him better or a lot worse. Meh, you wouldn't be the first guy with an outdated sig What's wrong with Hit n Run? The only thing they could have done different that I can see is give him Duke arms instead, to be more ARAH acurate. Or is that what you're refering to? The arms don't bother me. It's the head and helmet that look off. The camo pattern on his face looks strange, and that helmet doesn't look right. They're a bit off, but not too bad. I like it. @can@
  4. Thanks for the breakdown. Duke if he'd been closer to the spy-troops version could actually have been good! As it is CC is the only one not a complete FAIL. Happy pass for me. @can@
  5. You and me both. But at least we got 1 of 2. Still wish they'd released Lifeline and Lowlight... @can@
  6. Quoted for truth. Lets be honest, the suckma 6 line was superior. @can@
  7. They redid Chuckles to match how he's going to look in the new Comic. Don't know why, but hey, I like him. To me, the only problem with the sets is not seeing the gear yet (we will soon) and Recondo should have flint arms. Otherwise perfect. @can@
  8. I'm getting Cover Girl and HD because we don't have them. Duke will become spearhead. @can@
  9. Man these new "file cards" suck. No depth, no characterization, just very cheeply done. Sad. But hey, at least we get thunder. @can@
  10. I'll get Covergirl and Heavy Duty because we don't have classic versions of them, and these look OK. And I'll pick up Duke and call him spearhead. The rest are VERY easy passes for me. @can@
  11. I believe they're using "Altitude" so as to not confuse new fans as to why he's caucasian and then suddenly black. Altitude was stolen from Major Altitude (1990?), so we won't be getting him anytime soon. And for those wondering if these come with helments and gear, I think that its pretty obvious that they will. I'm looking forward to army building Cobra. @can@
  12. Personally, I loathe the whole heros line. Not one division has been any good, and all are pegwarmers of the worst kind. Why Hasbro came up with those is utterly beyond me. @can@
  13. Any new Crimson Guards should be Crimson Guards, not recolored Troopers. I like these guys as red Troopers (NCO's?) and Officers, but not as an entirely seperate class of agent. Tom That is what my Resolute Soldiers already represent in my collection. It was the only way for me to justify the difference is how they look from the other troops. So basicly, Troopers are Grunts (Pvt - Sgt ranks) Cobra Officers are Lieutenants, and the Resolute troops are Captains. Not sure how much higher the red troops can rank before shouldering in on the position held by Major Bludd. I actually love the black and red Cobra Commander. I can't see the Duke figure very well enough to see what I want to do with him in my collection. Right now, the first Resolute Duke stands in my collection as a no name Joe. Technically the ranks go (if you include absolutely everything): Private Corporal Sergent Ensign (first officer rank) Lieutenant Commander Captain Major Lt. Colonel Colonel and then a bunch of generals (not sure there) So you could throw the red guys in as ensigns or commanders without pushing against Bludd. @can@
  14. I thought the Star Trash one was already on at the theaters, I'm pretty sure I've had to choke it down twice. @can@
  15. I feel that they're getting better as they go. QK and Dusty were pretty good figures (ok, so QK lacked ankle articulation, I'm sure a lot of people would have complained about "suicide ankles" or something so I'm not surprised) ANd the last pack looks awesome, Its the first two we got ripped off on. @can@
  16. Thats the one thing that really bothers me. I'm getting the ones from wave 13 because I prefer their colour scheme, so this is a pure pass for me. ANd an easy one at that. Duke with Glider and the black BAT are cool, but not enough to warrent the extra CC and odd coloured troopers. @can@
  17. Dooku went NINJA!!!! Humerus. @can@
  18. The Ferret, even with its strange colour scheme is OK, until you notice the Huge spring loaded launcher on it. The IGs or MARS troopers are pretty good until you notice that their rifels are bigger than they are. For those of you who have seen the upcoming Armadillo and Rockslide for the movie, similar, out of scale spring loaded weapons hamper otherwise decent designs. And lastly the night raven is rumored to have sound features (which likely means huge red buttons). Does someone at Hasbro have a problem with scale issues??? @can@
  19. I'd only want it after (in no particular order) Covergirl, Jinx, Zaranna, Mayday, Firewall, Bombstrike and Zanya. After the classics who are actually on the team, Amber, Holda Loo, and that girl who was into lifeline are fine. @can@
  20. Its thinner. Whoop de do dah. Its still a mustache, and honestly, one that thick is impossible for most normal people to grow without hair treatments. I see no problem @can@
  21. I do believe the proper response is Ho HO HO JOE!!!!!!! @can@
  22. I'm happy that they're already out, but I don't know how Hasbro managed to ge them out before announcing them. Makes no sense to me. I still need to find these and the 5th DVD pack and Wave 4 vehicles to finish out the year. @can@
