  1. if posting topics cost money would u still post this thing u just did now? Yeah I'd spend money for it... I think its worth it.
  2. I'll move to Europe... Your dollar is worth more!
  3. Wow, I get to bag on the Storm groupie. How Delicious. I'm sitting here reading this post and I'm seeing the usual blasts taken at Hasbro. They didn't make [insert obscure fanboy character here]. They don't do paint washes. I don't like BAFs. Hasbro won't deliver to my house forcing me to actually go to a store and look for them. etc, etc, etc. ad nauseam. Then I get the gem, provided so graciously by the "I dyed my hair white so I could be more like Storm, tee-hee" Storm groupie. "Hasbro won't sell in Europe." Yer kidding, right? It's an AMERICAN company, baby. Based on an AMERICAN comic book. Get over yourself. If it's that important to you, move to AMERICA. Legally, of course. Maybe I'm just feeling negative cause I spent my morning listening to talk radio in which the sound byte of the day is Barack Obama's minister/spiritual advisor spouting anti-white, anti-AMERICAN rhetoric, saying that AMERICA had 9/11 coming and that we deserved it, talking about how the rest of the world hates AMERICA and that if we want to repair our world image we need to lay down and roll over for all the other countries in the world and do what they want us to do and I'm just tired of it. If the rest of the world hates AMERICA so much they why do they always want what we have? Why are so many people chomping at the bit to EMIGRATE to AMERICA? You want to talk about Hasbro's products? Fine. You want to talk about how sensitive they are to adult collectors vs. the kiddies that they cater to? Fine. But DON'T sit there and whine about an AMERICAN company not distributing to you in "jolly ole" England when you have so many other means of getting what you want and are just too lazy or too indignant to use them (i.e. INTERNET). End of Line this is the biggest load of bull #$@# ever posted in a thread.so let me get this straight, because europeans dont live in america, they are not entitle to recieve their products? thats a joke right? the rest of the world dont hate america, they only hate the dipshits like you in it.americans wine about how they didnt find anything in kb's,walmart's and targets's,but us europe folk, dont have them.you give out at how many ml pegwarmers you have, we would kill for that.and have you seen internet prices these days? shipping? an order of 3 figures that would cost 9.99 in your stores would be about £70,and with shipping would go into the hundreds."jolly ole" england gets jack #$@#.how bout you come and live here for awhile and see why we are on at hasbro? and just because something pissed you off on the radio, dont take your frustration out on collectors who dont have the priveledge of being surrounded by endless stores that will eventually get something, because we will get nothing.
  4. I know star wars and GI Joe fans are very particular regarding the size of their figures... What are they like 3.5 inch or something... Anyway, seems like Hasbro is kind of screwing the pooch concerning the marvel legends line... I'm crossing my fingers but its not looking good... But wouldn't it be cool... Seriously to have some star wars or GI Joe characters in Marvel Legends format. Basically marvel legends Snake Eyes! Or marvel legends Anakin Skywalker or Darth Maul. How cool would that be!!!???? Star Wars and GI Joes both had the size they have due to the vehicles they had also... Could you imagine how big the Millinium Falcon would have to be for a marvel legends figure? Just seems like Hasbro is crossing line styles amongst its brands... (Unleashed, Super Hero Squad... Etc) God it just seems like a great money maker for them. I would totally buy an Marvel Legends style Cobra Commander or Darth Vader. It would be awesome and it wouldn't take away from the normal series of figures. What do you guys think???
  5. I want her... But I want her now... *crying* Sobbing... Whaaaaaaaaa... I need my pacifier... *sucking thumb*

End of Line JediRL... WOW... You my friend are being a jerk and taking this to a whole other level of stupidity. You are that stupid american my friend. Our fellow collector deserves the right to be pissed if he can't get the figures regardless of where he is at. You going to bag on someone if they are in Canada and can't get the figures either??? Stop listening to that talk radio its making you dumb. No connection here buddy... Keep the politics off the board. Oh yeah, and for the guy who always crys about a firestar figure... Did you notice the custom firestar figure on toynewsi... Those custom figures look WAY better than anything Hasbro has released this year. Firestar could actually fit into an X-Men line because she is a Mutant! But sorry chump, you don't get her... Listen guys, we have the right to be angry at Hasbro... Their trial and error sucks in our opinion. I have a suggestion on how to keep your mouths full if your interested. ~Big Bad Wolf
  7. Sounds like some of you guys finally getting the clue that Hasbro is sucking it hard this year huh??? I posted my opinion, my frustrated anger for the lack of X-Men figures produced this year. Everyone jumped down my throat. No X-Men Icons as promised. Those Hulk figures and that Spidey (revamp BAF) line are a complete load of crap! WAKE UP GUYS! GET MAD! I know Hasbro reads these boards. The collectors are pissed! I can't be the only one out here who is scratching his head, trying to figure out what the hell is going on here. Hasbro was showing us that they could produce some good quality figures but now what is this crap. Oh yeah, I saw those animated spiderman figures at TRU... Yeah not impressed with those either. animated black suit spidey might be cool??? ~Big Bad Wolf
  8. Cyclops (New X-Men w/ Jacket) and Phoenix Havok and Polaris Warpath and the white cat girl Gambit and Rogue Deadpool and Wolverine Cannonball and Iceman

    Hasbro Sucks!

The big bad wolf returns... I actually have a bit of a life and it seems that I gave you guys something to talk about... So screw those of you geeks who are crying about what I said. Hey I am allowed to voice my opinion. As you know, in this industry or the comic industry, it is in fact very hard to please the fans... Fans get these idea's in their head about how they want or expect things to turn out and get disappointed when the creators simply cannot meet those impossible demands. As it turns out I was just very disappointed... I am allowed to feel that way. And yes I know, for every X-Men fan there is a Spidey or Avengers or Hulk/Iron-man fan. I am a big marvel fan of over 20+ years. I have been criticized for liking crappy movies because I am just happy to see some of my favorite marvel characters on the big screen regardless if the movie really just sucks or not. So at the end of the day I do appreciate Hasbro for continuing to push production on my favorite marvel characters. I think one of the original ideas behind giving the license over to Hasbro was in regards to making Marvel Legends more accessible to the public. I mean when hardcore collectors cannot find the figures we do have a problem. Hasbro's prototypes have looked very scary at times... remember the prototypes from their first series shown in wizards toyfare... SCARY! But all was well and the figures continue to look better and better once they finally come out. Hasbro has teased us a bit with a few items that have now been cancelled. Thats not cool... There was a particular wave of repaints that Hasbro that I really wanted and was going to initially be released once they received the license but got cancelled (Wolverine, Ultimate Cyclops (jim lee repaint) Mutant X iceman, and ultimate Captain America). At the end of the day regardless of all these factors, Hasbro is going to have some growing pains by taking over the marvel line. I do believe they will get better and better as time goes on. I do appreciate them but I've had frustrations along the way.. The New York Toyfair was a consistant spot to get a good look at all the new figures for the year. Hasbro has obviously decided to hold stuff off until the Comic Conventions... Thats cool but it took me off guard. So I am sorry I came across as whiney or what not... But I was upset and I really had a hard time understanding why you collectors were (what I felt was) oblivious to my point. If you guys still want to talk smack thats fine but atleast I gave you something to talk about and if your still upset, grow up. Stop living in your moms basement playing WOW. Laserface

    Hasbro Sucks!

Hasbro screwed the pooch big time this year at the NY Toyfair! I mean I was already pissed over the lack of x-men figures but damn... No Marvel Legends were shown except, what? one series of Hulk figures and 2 of the 2 packs. Oh yeah and Iron-man... yay... Hulk movie figures looked awful! Quick question, what happened to the Hulk line that included Valkyrie??? That line looked great! Now don't get me wrong... Hopefully Hasbro has a great year and I think the figures (over all) will turn out nice. I do like the Ronin, ultimate Cap, and ultimate fury! But come on!!! Seriously!!! Marvel Legends needs to be the bread and butter for Hasbro. Just gets me worked up when they show the Icon's from San Deigo last year with Phoenix, Colossus, Nightcrawler, and Daredevil... Those were cool! What happened to those???? What happened to all the prototype X-Men figures from the Toyfare contest??? Now don't get me wrong when I say this... I will always be a Greater Marvel fan... But Mattel's new DC (marvel legends looking) line that the 4 horsemen sculpted are sick! I am buying them up! Can't wait for Nightwing, Robin, Green Lantern, Aquaman, and Firestorm! Mattel is getting my money this year! I seriously wish Hasbro would produce a 6 inch (marvel legends style) Star Wars figures line! I guess when you sell your marvel toy line to a corporate conglomerate like Hasbro... The over-all line is simply going to suffer because stuffy old men end up making all the bad decisions. I seriously hope you prove me wrong in 2008 Hasbro... But in the mean time I think you suck! And no matter what response this message gets... Its not going to change my mind. Just realize you have hurt some of your most devoted fans. Laserface~
  11. I realize the whole movie theme connection... It doesn't take a genius to figure that out. I also realize that the past performance of both a hulk and iron man themed lines have totally sucked in the past while Toy Biz was producing them. And don't even start trying to bad mouth Toy Biz... Toy Biz was in fact able to push production and sales even when characters didn't have a movie or cartoon to fall back on. Now that is not to say they never capitalized on the whole movie media connection but non-the-less those lines sucked anyway. Face the facts boys... X-Men has a huge fan base with or without any media behind it to push the products forward. Toy Biz went how many years with their X-Men figures that never had that media besides that 1990's cartoon. Without Toy Biz I don't think Wolverine would've been such a household name. Why??? Cause there is freaking wolverine figures everywhere!!! Other than Spiderman, I don't know who is now a bigger name other than Wolverine. Toy Biz started producing X-Men figures back in the early early 1990's... Its now 2008 almost 20 years later and you are going to tell me now that Hasbro has the rights they should just stop a cash cow like the X-Men line??? That idea is almost as dumb as Hasbro's 5 inch Spidey line from last year.
  12. Okay, so the reports are slowly coming in... And I am going to be one seriously unhappy collector if I don't get any new X-Men figures this year! I must remind Hasbro that there is a reason why the X-Men books are always at the top of the charts! I appreciate the X-Men listed in the brood wave and I even appreciate the X-Men wal-mart two packs repaints from last year. But in the big scheme of things the X-Men are not getting their just deserve. Both Fantastic Four and Spidey already got their own Marvel Legends wave in 07. Now you guys are going to give Iron-Man and Hulk a rediculous amount of unnecessary figures in 08. Oh and lets not forget about Spidey who has a BILLION freaking figures already.... I want more X-men! With Wolverine coming out in 2009 and a new x-men cartoon for 2008 we shouldn't have any problems giving us collectors their X-Men fix! Seriously Hasbro... I am a hardcore fan who has collected X-Men since the very begining toy biz days of the early 90's. Don't pass off on the X-Men for a whole year. That is really dumb if you do...
